Hi Team,

I am trying to write a firefox wrapper which supports 2 managed profile one runs in nomachine physical session and 2nd runs in nomachine virtual session. But when both firefox profiles gets launched , then 1st launch profile new instance or existing instance gives alert that "" another copy of firefox has made changes to profiles. you must restart firefox before making more changes."" while checking about:profile tab.

I am using below command to create managed profile

firefox -CreateProfile "${USER} <Custum Profile Path>" firefox -CreateProfile "${USER}-VIRT <Custom profile path virt>"

and then launching parent instance of firefox using below command

firefox -no-remote -P "${USER}" <Custum Profile Path> firefox -no-remote -P "${USER}-VIRT" <Custom profile path virt>

and then launching new instances using below commands:-- firefox -no-remote -P "${USER}" firefox -no-remote -P "${USER}-VIRT"

I am getting alert "another copy of firefox has made changes to profiles. you must restart firefox before making more changes" when firefox being launched using above method 1st time .

And If I am launching 2nd time, Then all looks good to me.

Please suggest some bash version command . Base OS :-- Ubuntu Jammy 22.04 Firefox version:-- latest

I really strongly dislike - ok, I hate Google's AI in search results. How can I disable it? Can someone please come up with an add on to block it? I can block it in Chrome by signing up for their labs and blocking it there (weird solution) but I cannot disable it in Firefox

I use Google search and do not like the AI overview feature. In the Chrome, Edge, and Opera browser I've added an extension that blocks the AI. What I've noticed when I use FF I see no AI results when using Google search and I've not added an AI overview block extension. Is there something different about FF that prevents AI results from showing without the need for an extension? I look forward to your comments. Thanks

firefox keeps crashing during browsing after latest update, i do nothing special just the sites i always use. i`m browsing and looking than bam crashing, some times multiple times after each other. i use windows 10 if that helps.

i was just playing chess and the texture of the pices started glitching. already tried closing and opening but the glitch still remained it is also in other websites and in firefox ui. pls help

Firefox is now crashing at least once an hour. This has steadily been getting worse. a month ago it would crash once a week, but now it become unusable. I have use Firefox for more that 20 years and never had a problem. All over the Internet people are complaining about this and its just getting worse. This is happening on my old Win 10 machine as well as on a brand new install on a new Win 11 machine.

Printing a pdf feature cannot scale up. Independently from the choice of file or printer, printing at a scale more than 100% does not change anything. Unfortunately this extends to the "Fit to page width" option - attempting to print a document with pages smaller than paper size produces an unscaled, small document on a part of the page.

Fire Fox (Mozella) browser appears to be censuring content? In Fire Fox, when I read Fox Digital, I cannot see the comments any more when I’m signed in nor, signed in or not, the display boxes containing X posts and links. In the Federalist articles I can get the comments when I’m signed in, but the X content in them are not displayed. Comments in Yahoo are missing too. I tried changing Browser Privacy settings in Fire Fox, turning off my VPM, ad blockers, and tracker blockers but it does not correct the problem. All this content is available in Duck Duck Go and Edge browsers. Perhaps I have something I’m not aware of turned on but… Here’s two links to check out in Fire Fox then another browser.

After re-installing Firefox, when logging in Firefox redirects homepage via some website not identified as the homepage website. After the recent update, I am unable to access some websites which did not previously have problems. One particular site: Costco.com Have no problem with site using Chrome (dislike!). Fault is not at Costco end.

Good day, Last update of Firefox "131.0.2", I faced an issue mentioned in the attached below. Lines of text or numbers are overlayed over each other. I downgraded to Firefox "128.3.1esr" and the problem is resolved. Now I'm staying on the older version till the issue is resolved.
