The VIEW tab in my Firefox will/can read some links and articles to me. It is wonderful.Choosing 'READER VIEW' in the VIEW tab. But some it does not. I'm hoping some AI will have this feature.- speaking it to me. Thanks.

Your PC doesn't have an app that can open this link. Try looking for a compatible app in the Microsoft Store.

Is this Microsofts way of saying "Use Edge?" Can I change settings to make it work?

As per the topic title. I would like pages to always automatically translate from english to my chosen language. However, when I select the option in the context menu, then revisit the setting, the check box remains unchecked. I am looking for a solution that will allow links to open in the same tab rather than tab, tab, tab, tab, tab, tab, tab. I am also having issue with sign ins opening a new blank tab and not having the ability to sign in at all. I've been using Firefox since I quit Netscape. And yes, I tried many epic fails that were disguised as solutions that don't work. I'm seriously about to give up on this browser if I can't get what I had after a SSD drive fail that forced me to reinstall from the ground up.

I was using the "read aloud" function in chat gpt window today and suddenly it started showing me an error message "Unable to read aloud" . It did not affect Chrome. I used many of the troubleshooting recommendations but none worked. troubleshoot mode failed to fix it. private window did not fix it. default change for audio and video did not fix it.

When I find a web site I want to share, I go to file on my i-mac desk top and it opens an e-mail but always sends from my comcast e-mail address. How do I change that so they all go from my aol address? [edited[ @aol.com

I have a Mac desktop running Seqouia 15.1.1, and I'm using Firefox, primarily.

Inside LinkedIn, the "see more" link is missing in people's profile sections. I can;t expand any of these sections to read them in full.

They are present in Chrome. They are present on my iPhone.

I've reset everything I can think of but nothing impacts it. Also, this is a fairly new problem. So, something updated that caused this but Idk what.

The attached images give examples.

1st image (FF): Where the "..." is, a "see more" text link should also appear. 2nd image (CH): "See more" is present.

Hello, This is definitely an annoying bug because each time I right click a specific tab then "Open a new tab on the right", there's no focus on the url bar. And when I want to type something I have to bring the mouse inside the url text zone and click before typing.

It would really be a nice QoL to have.

hi everyone, first of all, happy new year.

while browsing reddit, i keep seeing these strange underlined empty links on random words/names. for example this comment here: https://www.reddit.com/r/moviecritic/comments/1hpse0f/comment/m4jxdwq/ shows the name of actress underlined.

i disabled all my extensions and the problem persisted. i checked using chrome and the problem didn't exist.

on inspect element i found something called faceplate-tracker though.

any clue what is this? and how to deal with it?

I get the above message when signing into a web site that I use. What does the message "404 INVALID URL" mean, why does it appear and how can I correct it?? I have checked the URL (address I am trying to reach) and it is spelled correctly.

i rely on your Read Aloud app to read items on the internet and it is difficult for me to reinstall it when it disappears. Can you send me a link to reinstall to make it easier?

I am reporting a problem with Firefox 157.0.1 on Windows involving ChatGPT's Read Aloud feature.

Until approximately one week ago, I could use ChatGPT's Read Aloud feature without any problems. Now, whenever I try to listen to a written ChatGPT response, Firefox displays the following error:

“Unable to read aloud.”

I have confirmed that this problem is specific to Firefox. ChatGPT's Read Aloud feature works perfectly in Google Chrome on the same computer. Additionally, YouTube and other audio applications work normally in Firefox.

Troubleshooting already completed:

Cleared ChatGPT's cookies and website data.

Disabled Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection for ChatGPT.

Restarted Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode with extensions disabled.

Refreshed ChatGPT and restarted the browser.

Tested ChatGPT Read Aloud in Google Chrome, where it works correctly.

Unfortunately, none of these troubleshooting steps resolved the problem in Firefox.
