I recently re-installed FireFox after I suddenly had problems that the profile folder could not be accessed. I uninstalled it, then reinstalled it using the download from Mozilla website. This fixed the profile issue. I am using the latest version. Now, I find that most of the time, cnn.com won't load: I see messages on the bottom left corner that it is connecting to all sorts of web sites, in particular it tends to get stuck on "Sending request to signal-metrics-collector-beta.s-onetag.com" . I don't know if it eventually loads, I give up after about 1 minute. In Chrome, cnn.com loads instantly. In Firefox, BBC.com loads instantly. Microsoft.com loads instantly. I have installed the same extensions as before. I started FireFox with all of them turned off, no difference. As I mentioned, it does not load MOST of the time - once in a while it loads instantly, but later on the problem reoccurs. >What is wrong with FireFox and why won't it load CNN as quickly as before? I have a flag that says my Browser is managed by the Organization. I cant find any help on HOW to fix it, I only find pages telling me things that make no sense to me as a sole user. None of my other computer have this flag on the settings page.

How do I remove this or changes this setting, since it makes me feel like some outside agency has tried to control the browser

Why am I receiving repeated warnings from Malwarebytes about blocking every-day websites due to a "Trojan"? The sites include Gmail, Ancestry.com, Newspapers.com and others.

The report warnings are being generated by the Malwarebytes program on my PC. They are confusing to me. I am running Windows 11. The warnings are being logged by the Malwarebytes program in the "Web Protection" section of its "Detection History" web page. In every instance, the log reports are the same: in the URL identification column there is no identification of the URL, only repeated instances of "N/A"; the IP address is identical for all the warnings; the port is always "0"; the file column alternates from "C:\Program Files\Mozilla\Mozilla VPN\Mozilla VPN.exe" to "System" and back again to "C:\Program Files\Mozilla\Mozilla VPN\Mozilla VPN.exe"; in the final column of the log, the Date column, the warnings began last evening, Monday the 12th, at 6:50 p.m. and have now extended to to a total nine warnings.

Even as I was writing this communication, the Malwarebytes warning popped up on my screen, telling me that this website and this web page are blocked due to the presence of a Trojan.

Is my PC infected? The Malwarebytes "scan" reports no "detections." I am at a loss.

When I open a new tab and enter any website name I cannot connect to any site and this has only just started The message I get reads cannot connect to server at gb.search.yahoo.com

I have just setup a new desktop computer which has the latest versions of Firefox and AVG Free.

Firefox is not working properly, sometimes not completely loading pages, images or is not loading pages at all.

If I disable the AVG Web Shield Setting “Enable QUIC/HTTP3 scanning” then Firefox behaves normally.

The build of AVG Free is 26.3.10886.974 and the version of Firefox is 149.0.2.

After instalation Eset Smart Security 18.2.18.0 with full security browsers my Firefox is run only in read-only mode. If I will be disable option Security browser and run Firefox that's working. Next I will be enable option Security browser then Firefox starts with green frame. After close Firefox and next run then starts read-only mode. Eset Team is not fair play becouse resolving problem only disable option Security browser. So why is there an option that prevents Firefox from launching? All my portable browsers without Eset Security working without any kind of problems, for example Tor, Opera.

I use Adguard app for Windows which causes long page loading times in Firefox due to extended TLS Handshakes. I have installed the Adguard certificate in Firefox, have turned off DOH in Firefox, etc. etc. but, the only way that I can get a page to load in a timely manner is by clicking on "reload current page" twice in Firefox. This is a delay in itself and is very inconvenient. I understand that the incompatibility of Firefox with Adguard is a known problem and am wondering whether Mozilla is working on a solution in cooperation with Adguard?

Hi, BIG fan, but.. Is there any way to "convince" the beauuutiful dev`s to give us a radio check box in the settings that says "I know what I`m doing so I will update when I see the need" (and in fact turn off the veeeery annoying "UPDATE!!, UPDATE!!"... window, that is driving me inane. Comes up like something was on fire :( then it is just some minor thing for those that love streaming... that means... not me. I don not want to, but I probably have to (after umpften years with the fox) start looking for a browser that does not drive me nuts. Give people the option to update if and when they want to, without a over needy window in the top right eeevery 10 seconds, give it a rest, please?

HOW DO I GET MICROSOFT OUT OF MY COMPUTER?

EXAMPLE: I NEVER SIGNED UP/IN FOR ONE DRIVE. IT MEANS THAT THINGS SUCH AS DOWNLOADS HAS A MICROSOFT TOOL IN THE FILE LOCATION.

HOW DO I QUICKLY FIND THINGS LIKE MOZ VPN TO DOWNLOADS? I RECEIVE VPN FOR FREE. IS THERE A SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE THAT JUSTIFIES THE COST OF FIREFOX'S VPN?

Since your last upgrade, I have been able to get into any sites using CloudFlare security. Prior to that I had no problems at all. I have tried closing extensions and or clearing cookies. I especially want access to my banking account. How can I disable whatever was added to effect CloudFlare? CloudFlare either continues to cycle, or gives an error message.

My personal computer's Firefox says the browser is controlled by enterprise. I have no enterprise.

How does this Enterprise policy get set? And how can I remove it?
