When i click on a tab, if I am not perfectly steady at the time of the click, Firefox opens the tab in a new windows. It happens several times a day, it's quite annoying. Searching for solutions in the support page, I've found that there was an add-on to disable this function, but now it's not available anymore. Is there a solution in 2024?

I have been going to the same website using Firefox for a year or two and now when I go there the home page for the site shows up for a few seconds then disappears leaving a white screen. Once when I was backspacing there was a notice saying it had been deleted from it's cache and to reload which I did but nothing happened. I have also been using CCleaner and I have been cleaning the MFT free space for Drive C I've been doing that for a month or so and I'm wondering if that caused the problem? I wouldn't think so if it was the problem it should have happened the first time I used it and it should happen on my other browsers and it hasn't. It's only 2 web sites that I know of that have this problem there may be others but I haven't found them yet. How do I get FF to reload the site in it's cache and keep it there if this is a problem with FF? If this is a problem with CCleaner and the free space scan I'd like to know that. Hello, Firefox keeps signing me out of Google websites like google.com and youtube.com when I close out the browser. I recently switched from Google Chrome and was wondering if this was a Google issue or if it was Firefox. It only keeps me signed out of Google accounts, and keeps me signed in for every other website. I have the "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" box unchecked and it still keeps me logged out, and I have "cookied" unboxed in my Clear History settings as well. I'd like to have this issue fixed as soon as possible for school-related reasons.

I don't know if that was supposed to look like, but when rendering MathML in Firefox 124.0.1 when one uses "mtable" element the browser adds very huge gaps around.

How do I perform very basic editor functions like add/remove/move a page in the new Firefox PDF document editor? I am in the Mainstream Firefox 124.0.1 64-bit. Thank You, David

I am setting up a new mac computer (Mac book Air M3 with Sonoma 14.3). I have installed Video Download Helper. The icon appears in the Applications folder and the Dock, but not in the Firefox toolbar. How can I get the icon back? Many thanks.

After Ubuntu updated the GPU driver, Firefox stopped rendering and only works when disabling hardware acceleration. See screenshot attached. I'm using ubuntu/ RTX4090 and nvidia-driver-535 (propietary, tested). Attaching the apt upgrade logs that caused this to happen. Firefox is the only application that suffers from this.

Is there any fix happening soon for this?

Since the last Firefox update I cannot access my banking web site. I access this site almost daily. It is Regions Online Banking. It will not accept my username either by copy and paste or by typing it in. By not accepting it I mean the login space remains blank. I disconnected from my VPN, no change. I was able to access the site normally using MS Edge.

I am running Windows 11, 64-bit.

Any help would be appreciated.

I deleted the site cookies and disabled tracking protection with no success, however, I was able to login in trouble shooting mode. I went back to normal mode but was still unable to login. Is there anything I can do to correct the problem?

Reply to zeroknight. Disabling the extensions did the trick. I only have five extensions so I'll just go through them one at a time until I find the culprit.

Reply to zeroknight - 2. I use Bitwarden for my password manager. When I disabled it I was able to access Regions. All my other logins seem to be working OK. Maybe a Bitwarden update will fix the problem. Anyway, I know what the problem is now.

Running Firefox 124.0.1 (64bit) on my Windows 10 Version 10.0.19045 Build 19045. Every time I open Firefox, it closes within a couple of seconds and then reopens by itself and keeps working. How can I fix this glitch?

In the appdata\roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xyz\storage\archives folder there are 2 folders, \0 and \default. They contain over 500MB between them and are not cleared out by removing all website data (it did clear out Storage/Default). Can the content of these 2 folders be deleted? The \0 folder contains 30 folders with dates for the folder name ranging from 2022-01-16 to 2023-10-26 for a total of 115 MB. The \default folder contains over 1000 folders dated from today back to 2017 for a total of 475 MB. The names of the folders in \default are variations of websites visited and pages I have saved elsewhere (https++++www.xyz.com and file++++c++doc+ etc.)

A few weeks ago I saw an Mozilla ad for a new Mozilla software product that cleaned up your PC and made it run better. The price was around $125.00 (I don't remember that exact price). It said that I would receive an email from Mozilla with download instructions. it's been a few weeks and I have not gotten any email. Does anyone know if Mozilla offers any such software or did I get scammed? I'm pretty good about seeing scams but Ive used Firefox and Mozilla for years and trust them. Maybe that's why I wasn't as careful as I should have been.

I have been using Windows 10 with Firefox browser and Google/Gmail for many months. I also have been using Norton 360 and other Norton programs for many years. A few days ago, I updated Norton Utilities Ultimate and after update ran it for standard options. Before that update, I could start Google and still be signed in and start Gmail and still be signed in. Now, whenever I close Gmail or Google, I have to sign in whenever I start Google/Gmail. I tried to get help from Norton (see attached chat printout), but they said it was not a Norton problem and to contact Google. When I researched the problem with Google, it indicated that the problem was related to cookies but did not help correct it. I tried Firefox Help and could not find any useful information. I then changed to Google Chrome browser; that works and I can start and stop Google and Gmail and remain signed in. If I go back to Firefox, I still have to sign in every time I start Google. On Mac OS 14.4 Firefox hangs on launch and crashes, requiring "Force Quit" when I try to Refresh or Troubleshoot. Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times, and restarted computer several times. Have spent several hours trying multiple community suggestions to now avail.

I am not a programmer, but am able to follow instructions. I clearly need someone to hold my hand and walk me through the solution. (I even checked out the Kaspersky suggestion, but cannot install it because Firefox cannot connect to the Internet.)

I have downloaded and saved "Raw Data.docx" and "Application Basics tex.docx" from one of the crash reports.

P.S. On this question form Firefox guessed that my operation system was Mac OS x 10_15_7, but it is 14.4

I used to be able to access all bookmarks from the Library icon on the address toolbar. Now, it only shows a list of what it labels "recent bookmarks" (the bookmarks shown are really not recent). I would like to be able to open the Library and access all bookmarks, which is the way it used to work. I will attach a screen shot to illustrate what I mean.

Hey, I have no idea what information to provide, thing is just that my mozzila always gets extremely slow {literally unusable} after being open for cca 10 minutes. I work in the browser so first ten minutes are fine and then it just freezes so much that I have to restart computer for it to work normally again - for another ten minutes. It is extremely frustrating, other browsers dont use it and I love mozilla and dont wanna put it aside. Anyone has idea? It is not hardware related, my hardware is absolutely fine, it is also not viruses related, pc is clean, any idea what could cause this? Or what could solve this? If u need some more information, I can provide, but I have no idea what could help to provide...
