I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I've no idea since when my Firefox doesn't show highlighted code fences on any web pages. Specifically it happens inside the <textarea> tags. Anyone with an idea of the possible reasons?

I've tried to disable the add-ons one by one and inspect, nothing ever changed even when I disabled all my add-ons and meanwhile I refresh the page every time I disabled an add-on.

Dear all I use firefox as a pdf viewer. Here I love shortcut keys e.g. full screen ctrl-alt-p. The problem is that it only works when I tap the screen with the mouse first. How to make a touch of screen with the mouse via keyboard shortcut? BR Brian

I have tried many of the suggestions to fix the message that appears on a yellow bar the say in effect "another program is slowing down your computer. It sure is. When I'm working on my eBay business, and the only program running is eBay. I get this message in between changing one task to another. It's extremely frustrating. And if I can't get this fixed I'm going to have to stop using Firefox. I have tried the "fix" to refresh Firefox. I'm using version 84 on my Windows 10 OS. I'm a very experienced user (since the 70's) but not a Techy. Bob

Have recently updated to version 86.0, Youtube takes a long while to load the next video when I click on it (I did not set autoplay). Never had this problem previously. Have uBlock Origin installed if it matters.

i cant log in to https://www.tdcardservices.com/?product=TDBANK even explorer did not work, i went to google chrome and was able to log in, i have had the same problem at Ambetter insurance web site. how do i fix this problem ?? wth my old firefox never had this problem.. i have firefox 85 and windows 7. thanks i hope someone knows what wrong.

Why do nightly updates lead to a change in my default Search Engine? After every update, all my searches (address bar and search bar) are done via the default search engine (Yahoo). I do not want this. For the 5th time I have changed it to my preferred site. The OneClick search preference is not changed - and here the Default Search Enginge is not even selected as an option.

Any help would be appreciated.

Can someone delete my old firefox account. I believe the email I was to use is stuck as a secondary or backup email on an account that I no longer have access to and the primary on that was deleted years ago so I cant even do a password reset to get into that account to remove the secondary. I just want to create a new account with the email address I want to use.

I ran the refresh Firefox in the uninstall wizard. I understood that my bookmarks would not be effected but they are all gone, is there any possibility of retrieving them?

I'm trying to autologin to websites but it doesn't autologin it only fills. I have a machine in kiosk mode that times out and I want to log back in immediately. Firefox displays the username and password, but does not make the final step of clicking the login button.

I don't care about security in this case, I just want it to work.

I've tried everything I found online and either could not get it to work or it did not work.

I'd like to know how I can enlarge a specific font by some factor, but leave other elements the same as normal size, on a chat site. A particular font is pretty hard to read, and I'd like to leave the typeface similar, but simply bigger, and not mess with the whole page.

But its old. There is also HSTS which Im not sure how that works and frankly, as a user I don't care.

We use internal websites on a company intranet domain. For example, a simple webpage to show the status of an application. I had to enable apache and made its config, so I know for a fact the site itself is not redirecting to https (other browsers aren't redirecting). Firefox insists on changing my address bar to https. When I use tcpdump or check the firewall, I dont even see port 80 traffic, firefox doesnt even try.

I tried the above, I also: - disabled addons (which I know dont redirect but to be sure) - erased the relevant history - deleted HSTS config file from my Mozilla profile - tried opening in a private window

The site above is an example, it happens with other sites too. Sometimes, it works for a while and then it stops. Sometimes, I find another site entry in the HSTS file, remove it and try again. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I'm at a loss what to try next.

When I completely erase and start a new profile, without sync or addons, it might work but only for a short while. This isn't an option because literally, the only reason I still use firefox is because sync works reasonably well, across all devices, including most settings and addons.

I hope someone can help me fix this, I'd appreciate it!

Firefox stop working when I'm insterting a Belgium ID card in a Vasco 870 reader

Belgium has ship on the ID card like bank. I can use the reader in Firefox with my Bank card and it works perfectly. When I instert my ID card, Fiorefox crash.

I have tried to disable all the plugin and reinstall firefox but this does not solve the probelm
