what happened to separate search window in address bar option?????

There used to be an option for a separate search window on the address bar. I found it really useful especially for a instant spell check. The option was there then aft… (funda kabanzi)

There used to be an option for a separate search window on the address bar. I found it really useful especially for a instant spell check. The option was there then after an update, it wasn't. WHY WHY WHY????? Is there any way for me to put it back? I hate using the address bar to search! Unless I open a new tab or window, regaining control of the prior tab/window is difficult.

Conflict between Firefox and Thunderbird

Each time I open Thunderbird, Firefox randomly switches to another window. When I set Firefox back to the proper window, Thunderbird closes. Using Windows 11, Firefox 130… (funda kabanzi)

Each time I open Thunderbird, Firefox randomly switches to another window. When I set Firefox back to the proper window, Thunderbird closes.

Using Windows 11, Firefox 130.0.1 and Thunderbird 128.2.3esr.

I suspect the problem is with the latest release of Thunderbird. I want to install the older Thunderbird 115.10.1, but I did not find an easy way to do that.
