I’ve been noticing an issue with YTS-type sites on Firefox. The site either loads partially, the player doesn’t start, or it keeps buffering without playing anything.

What’s strange is that the exact same site works perfectly fine on Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers. Videos load instantly there, but on Firefox it either breaks or takes forever.

Things I’ve already tried: – Cleared cache and cookies – Disabled all extensions – Tried in private window – Checked network (no issues)

It feels like something related to Firefox compatibility with the video player or scripts used on these sites.

I also tested another version here which seems to work better on Firefox:

Not sure what’s different (maybe a different player or encoding), but it loads without issues for me.

Has anyone else faced this or knows what might be causing it?

When I try to make a Google search I get the following message, "I'm not a robot" with a reCAPTCHA: "Our systems have detected unusual traffic from your computer network. This page checks to see if it's really you sending the requests, and not a robot. Why did this happen?". This happens on Firefox, but not Chrome or Edge. If I 'Allow' Google in the 'Exceptions - Cookies and Site Data' then I do not get the message, but it takes several seconds for Google display the resulting page. However, if I delete the cookies/cache the message will return and I have to redo the reCAPTCHA. I have scanned with Malwarebytes, Bitdefender, Hitman Pro, Trend Micro House Call and Microsoft Defender, nothing detected. Running Win 10 (64) with 'Extended Security Updates', Firefox 147.0 (64), no additional Extensions or Plugins. Also I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox.

Facebook simply isn't loading in Firefox anymore - it loads in Edge on my PC just fine and on my Mobile Android Browser .

I've tried disabling all extensions, and clearing cache and cookies, but Facebook still refuses to load and returns the message, attached.

Recently, after the newest Windows 11 update, Twitch hasn't been loading correctly, the tab looks as if it finished loading, but the page gets stuck in endless loading, no other site has this problem, and it happens even opening links to Twitch channels directly. I've added and screenshot of the problem.

I'd love some help or at least know if this is a problem on Twitches end or not. Thanks.

I'm having issues using Firefox with the Facebook site. Groups are slow to load and sometimes the chat and notification windows take forever to load with shimmering panels or a wait cursor displayed. I've cleared the cache and deleted the cookie, but that didn't rectify the issue. I don't have a problem with Edge.

I have no ability to connect to the IRS.gov account log in page. When attempting to do so, the link reverts to a maintenance page, with the hopeful message: "We apologize but there seems to be an issue completing your request. Please try again in a few minutes." An error URL is also attached.

This is not a new problem and has been ongoing for over a year. I have found several messages in the Mozilla support system describing the exact same problem from different users. There does not seem to be a fix that has been found. The information that I have found regarding the IRS website does not suggest that it will only work with Chrome or Chrome based browsers. But I can easily use the site with Edge.

There are several sites that I am unable to access with Firefox that force me to use Edge. I understand that Firefox has its security idiosyncrasies. But As this number climbs, and to include what are public facing government sites, a question I will soon ask is why use the Fireofox browser?

Trying to access search Home Depot, Lowes, Tractor Supply gives errors. Works with Chrome. Started about 2 weeks ago or so. I use Starlink, no VPN, tried disabling Ad Blocker, Clearing cache for Lowes, no Add ons, but still doesn't help.

Error msg from Tractor Supply is: Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/catalog/lawn-garden?" on this server.

Issue: A regression in Firefox version 142.0 (64-bit) breaks the display of the CAPTCHA widget on the login page for https://my8k.me/login

Evidence: The two attached images provide a clear comparison:

   Image 1 (Firefox 142.0): The CAPTCHA area is completely missing or fails to load, showing only a broken element or empty space.

   Image 2 (Other Browsers / Older Firefox): The CAPTCHA renders correctly and is fully functional, confirming the problem is isolated to the latest Firefox update.

Conclusion: This indicates a specific compatibility bug introduced in Firefox 142.0, rather than a general website or user configuration error.

I have been trying for WEEKS NOW to sign into my bank! The bank can use a TEMPORARY password to access my account but once that's over, when I try to log into my bank I STILL CANNOT LOG IN!!!!!!!!!! WTF has happend to Firefox after that last "update" what ever it was they changed, made it IMPOSSIBLE for me to log into my BANK. The problem is NOT the bank it's FIREFOX & FIREFOX NEEDS TO FIX THIS CONNECTIVITY PROBLEM SOON IF NOT SOONER!

I have messenger loaded but with Firefox i can not video call when i want to call a friend or family. I have no way to call any one i do have a web cam. do i need to go to Chrome every time i want to call. Messenger has stopped desktop messenger that was how i could call but now i can not is there some way to Facebook video call on Firefox please let me know thanks I want to stay with Firefox why is there no way to get video calls on Facebook??

I recently ported from chrome to firefox about 3 days ago and was tryin to access the dropdown menus on this website https://www2.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/governments/government-id/bc-services-card/your-card/get-a-card

I realized it wasn't working so I turned off my adblocker (ublock origin), refreshed the site and still not working.

Also attempted to use troubleshoot mode and still does not work.

Cleared cache + cookies and used troubleshoot mode and nothing working still.

I lastly checked the website was working by opening the same link on chrome after all that and it works perfectly fine over there. Any ideas what could possibly be the issue?? I basically have a fresh install of firefox with no changed settings besides anything that might of been copied over from Chrome when firefox automatically asks you to migrate your stuff over, and used the troubleshoot mode + clearing cookies and cache

Je choisis de me connecter avec un mot de passe et après avoir validé le mot de passe, j'arrive sur une page qui me dit d'utiliser un autre appareil ou une autre méthode de connexion. Je joins les fenêtres de connexion étape par étape Avec Google Chrome (que je ne veux pas utiliser), je me connecte sans problème à ma boite mail avec les même étapes décrites ci-dessus. ZIMBRA sous FIREFOX semble ne pas supporter les mails au format HTML Problème quand je fait suivre (forward) ou quand je réponds à un mail rédigé en HTML. Je n'ai pas ce problème quand j'utilise ZIMBRA sous EDGE. Est-ce un problème connu ? Est-ce une question de réglage ? J'utilise bien la dernière version de FIREFOX...

when i login my google account on firefox they say this browser is not try another browser. and if you already use supportive browser then try again and if click on try again and try it they still show me same statement.

128.13.0esr This is probably a huge long shot I know, because every forum etc on the internet has nothing that ever helps with this, but as it only happens in FF I thought it was worth a try.

Yesterday I changed my Privacy settings to 'delete cookies when FF is closed' and added a few exceptions. Then this Google Search reCaptcha thing started. Changed it back to what it was, basically the default setting there, but it was still happening. It only happens in FF [doesn't happen with Edge] and only on one pc, all other pc's and phones in the house are fine [all using the same network, router etc]. So I uninstalled FF altogether, reinstalled it...this thing was still happening regardless of what settings I use re cookies etc. If I actually complete the super annoying reCaptcha it goes away for about 1 or 2 searches, then comes back.

If I'm signed in to a Google account it doesn't happen.

I even did a fresh Windows install [which actually fixed this the other time this was happening about 6 months ago] but that didn't fix it this time. There is no malware, no VPN, no extensions that I haven't been using for years. Nothing that could ever possibly be considered 'bot-like' behaviour.

i asked a few days ago i am on Firefox have been for years and do not wan to have to change. I am trying to video call with my family from messenger and when i try it say it can not on Firefox. Why ? i d love to but why can t firefox do video calling from messenger is it Firefox or is it Facebook?you will force me to go to chrome or edge which i would rather not do please let me kno why this is thank you

Since latest upgrade (1/16/2026) I cannot log in to Outlook email. This is specific to Firefox 147.0.1 (Chrome and Pop Peeper logins to Outlook work fine). I tried clearing cache, updating, restarting, rebooting, trouble-shooting mode, private window etc. to no avail. I get 400 error from Outlook.
