Onion links and sites do not open in firefox 78.12.0esr, 64bit for FreeBSD (compile-time settings here freshports.org/www/firefox) I tried to set variables in about:config, but it's no longer works: network.dns.blockDotOnion = false network.proxy.socks_remote_dns = true network.proxy.socks = 127.0.0.1 (tor service enabled on local machine) network.proxy.socks_port = 9050 (same port specified in torrc)

Also enabled proxy in Preferences -> Network settings -> Manual proxy configuration Note that sites on a regular network are opened through a tor proxy and determine the ip address from the tor subnet, checked on check.torproject.org, but still *.onion links do not open.

Hello, Heritage Auction site was hit by a ransomware attack last year and their landing page of www.ha.com was down for some time. They were able to restore their site but FireFox is not allowing me to go to the site any longer. I have to load Edge and go to the site from that browser, which is really annoying. I have tried clearing cookies and cache to no avail, Firefox will not allow me to land at www.ha.com. Any help you can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Since most content is in English and search engines always link to the English version, I usually browse the english version of mozilla pages. But here on support in particular I have to contend with the pathetic date format where you can't tell which is day or month or year. So why can't I find a way to set the date format. Even the majority of tiny websites/forums have an option to specify the date format.

firefox does not send forgot password email links from website www.kijiji.ca I contacted Kijiji this morning & this I was told has been not working for months on their site. When will this be corrected? Thank you in advance

I have been using protonmail for years now. when I tried to bring it up just now I got Secure Connection Failed An error occurred during a connection to mail.protonmail.com. The OCSP response is not yet valid (contains a date in the future). Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_FUTURE_RESPONSE The page you are trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified. Please contact the website owners to inform them of this problem. They say it is a time issue but the time and date are correct. Why Is this happening. I would hate to change browsers as I have been using firefox for many years.

I'm looking for a way to view a wi-fi troubleshooting page while offline. What options do I have? I've tried "Work Offline" but that doesn't seem to do anything, so if you have any manual for that option or a different one please let me know.

When I am on a google play store app page, the green download button doesn't work.

What happens: 1. Click the green button 2. The round google processing-icon appears on the page briefly 3. Nothing happens, page does not render a pop-up stating the app will be installed on my device

What I tried:

• Turn off ublock: problem persits
• Disable all add-ons: problem persits
• A clean portable version: problem persits
• Tried on a clean portable google chrome install: everything works (app get's installed)

Problem started 4 or 5 days ago...

I am running Firefox portable 64bit on windows 10. I can just install from the android playstore app, but I need it to work on my desktop like it has always worked.

I someone could help, I'd really appreciate this.

My hard drive crashed and I was able to recover the files. I need to recover my Firefox history file. I know it is stored in the profiles folder as places.sqlite. What I need to do is open the file so I can see the history and recover the needed data.

I'm working from a data recovery disk (the source computer is still down). Is there a way to open the file and see it in Firefox? Or, is there a way to export the data into a format that can be read by Excel?

For several years I have always checked all my email accounts with Firefox and for the last few months, yahoo mail is not accessible. It redirects to att or currently.com. I have to open chrome browser and it works fine.

With Firefox 89.0.2 (64 bit) on macOS i can't play HD videos, they go on very low quality. There wasn't problems some version ago, but i can't say since. I have no issues with YouTube and Prime Video works well in Safari. Widevine version is 4.10.2209.1, and the plugin and the plugins auto-update are both enabled.

• I tried to clear all cookies/cache/data without any luck.
• Tried Troubleshoot mode, same issue
• I tried also to change DNS to google dns, i was using AdGuard dns, but not even this resolve the issue unfortunately.
• I tried also a second instance on Firefox on macOS, without extensions and default settings, but the issue still persists.
• Tried latest nightly, disbaled all privacy block/settings, all permitted, but no luck again.

Starting on 1/2/2022, every time I go to access my Yahoo mail; I've been getting a dialog box that states "The continued use of the Firefox Browser might cause issues with features, usability & accessibility to Yahoo Mail. To continue without issues, we suggest that you download Chrome, IE, Safari". What has happened to FF or is it a Yahoo issue? Also, it's only after I click on my mail icon on my home page to open my mail. This is quite annoying to have to click off the box and wait for the page to reload about as fast as NetZero dial-up of the mid 90s.

I need to access the SolarEdge Monitoring web site to get data from my newly installed solar PV installation. However the site tells me that Firefox does not support Javascript so I should choose another browser. Since I ditched Microsoft 10 years ago because its browser kept trashing my laptop, I've used Firefox exclusively. Must I really go elsewhere now, or is there a fix for this? I have Java installed, and its Control Panel tells me that "Java in Browser is enabled", but not which one.

As of 2 months now, two different bank websites I try to log into are always impossible to log in using Firefox desktop browser - whereas, no problem at all using Google Chrome to do those logins. In one bank site, a 404 error page pops up upon trying to login. In the other site, the site simply ignores the entered login details and stalls on the login page.

What did Firefox updates do that created that consistent problem? I've done the usual cookie cache cleaning/ restart process, but the problem remains.

I'm using FF 98.0.1 and Windows 10 21H2

After auto update to FF 89.0, access to long-time Fidelity account is intermittently blocked as a security warning, or causes DSL line to drop at submission of account security code, or displays account entry page as plain text, not std HTML formatting, or most often results in a technical error page saying try again later. MS EDGE works fine, no issues. This is the only webpage this occurs on. Fidelity has no FF reported issues on their end nor does my IP supplier. Using desktop PC, running Win10/64-bit, DSL line @ ~ 2.3 Mbps. Using the "Light Theme" which was auto set with 89.0. This plus the new bastardized menus will push me to drop FF since I can't afford endless hours to fix basic functionality with ea update.
