A few days ago the Best Buy website started giving me this message:

We’re sorry, something went wrong.

And yesterday I cannot get into the Walmart website.

This was all working perfectly fine last week. What's up Mozilla??? Oh, and both websites work perfect on Chrome as I had to use them to place my orders because Mozilla decided to all of a sudden make changes...

I contacted the Daily Mail newspaper because I keep getting their popup news alert messages even when I am reading my email. My Firefox popup blocker is checked. I complained to the news paper and they gave the following message to get rid of these annoying messages. Here are their instructions to stop this on Firefox> 1. Click the Settings icon in the top right of your browser window and choose "Preferences" 2.From the left hand side of the page, choose "Content" 3. Under Notifications, press "Choose

There is no Preferences category under my settings icon. There is no Content on the left side of the page when I go to Settings There is no Notifications label from which to select Choose.

How the heck do I get rid of this annoying popup or notification or whatever the heck it is? Please advise. Thx

YouTube TV won't load in my Mac OR my Windows Firefox.

Error: "Please use the latest version of Firefox to watch YouTube TV on your desktop."

I'm running 99.0.1. Enhanced tracking off. Extensions off.

YouTube support has been no help! Any ideas here?

Starting Firefox 97, opening a file involves downloading it the same way as if I choose to save it. It results in both Download folder and downloads list in the browser being polluted with a million of files I only wanted to open once with a specific app (pdfs, xls, m3u etc.).

Previously Firefox was using a hidden internal folder for saving such files and deleting them later, so Open In App really meant "open, do not save locally". Now any option just means "Save the file to the Download folder and let it be there forever".

How can I fix this unsuccessful UX decision apart from downgrading to an older version?

P.S. "If you dislike new features in the latest version of Firefox, your first reaction might be to go back to the previous version. Rather than downgrading, try getting used to the new features..." is probably the worst suggestion you can possibly give to someone with their workflow broken by a sudden update they can't decline with a feature they never asked for.

Hi, I wonder if someone can help me log into the KeyBank website. I keep getting this message: "Due to technical concerns, your current version of Firefox is no longer an option for KeyBank online banking. Nothing is wrong with your account. You simply need an updated browser – like the most up-to-date version of Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Mozilla Firefox – to sign on to online banking." Firefox is steadily being unusable for me. On numerous occasions websites fail to show log in pop ups etc which work without issue in Chrome. Latest example : https://www.gog.com/en/games Clicking "Sign in" should show a pop up to allow me to sign in. In Firefox this does not show. I thought it may be a "pop-up" issue, so deselected "Block pop-up windows" in settings. Still the same. I added the website as an exception and still the same. Anyone have any ideas what is going on ? TIA, ZTB

Certain site show what looks to be Chinese writing in the menu and description. Videos for those site will not play. This just happen today. Is there something going on with firefox? what would be the best fix?

I have always ordered my groceries through HY Vee Aisles on line. The display is not the same on firefox as is previously was. I have to go to Chrome. I have cleared everything, restarted and gotten rid of cookies.

Usually when I like an article and don't have time to read it, I'll save it for later to read it on my Kindle as plain text.

In FireFox, I'll use the F9 key to Toggle The Reader View to view it in the reader mode, then save the page as text by doing ctrl+s, as I don't need the html version or the images or extra stuff that comes with the article.

However, after the page is saved as text, getpocket.com dumps a lot of unnecessary garbage into the beginning(27 lines) & end(18 lines) of the page, even if I don't have a pocket account nor logged in as listed below.

Is there a way to prevent FF from saving the annoying Pocket self-promo garbage besides saving each page manually and tediously?

My websites for example AccuWeather log in information is not working. Other sites also having the same problem. This happened with you before, Please fix this problem. I've already check with the websites and they have no issues.

Amazon "Returns & Orders" page will not load... Mac/Firefox computer even it trouble shoot mode. Page just continues to partially load and repeats until I stop it.

I just installed Windows 10 and firefox and the video playback on those sites won't start. It works on youtube. Netflix and Curiosity stream works fine on Microsoft Edge but I want to use firefox. I did everithing of what Netflix sugested but videos won't play.

After the most recent update to the browser, I am no longer able to successfully login to many websites. Example for me include: Xcel Energy, Aol Mail, my local City Utility website and no doubt others I have yet to discover.

I know this is a browser dependent issue because Google Chrome is still able to access these sites just fine, but after the latest update to Firefox it no longer can.

It's able to load the login page and the site, but login in specifically returns either an error that shows on the webpage, or the URL displays some form of error code. Or in AOLs case it simply says "Uh oh. Looks like something went wrong. Please try again later." with a length authorization error code in the URL.

Any help with this would be appreciated. I've cleared Cookies, Cache, Active Logins and every other History Clearing option set to "Everything" as the length of time back to clean-up.

Like I said, this is a Firefox dependent issue due to Chrome accessing these sites just fine. I'd rather stick with Firefox over moving to Chrome but if no one can solve this problem then I guess it'll finally be time to ditch Firefox sadly, even though I've been using it since the early 2010s.
