Hey guys, So I have Firefox suggestions via my browser history enabled but when I go to input something, only my bookmarks show, I tried to toggle it off/on bit didn’t … (funda kabanzi)

So I have Firefox suggestions via my browser history enabled but when I go to input something, only my bookmarks show, I tried to toggle it off/on bit didn’t work, anyone else having this issue?

unwanted Bing takeover of Firefox

When ever I start Firefox, Bing comes up. My default search is Google. This is set in settings. Why is Bing even there? I do not want it associated with Firefox. I am get… (funda kabanzi)

When ever I start Firefox, Bing comes up. My default search is Google. This is set in settings. Why is Bing even there? I do not want it associated with Firefox. I am getting ready to dump Firefox unless this can be undone.

The entire web seems to be creepy beyond belief! The stock in trade is my life. I don't want you people spending your time trying to dream up ways to build the cheese that leads me into your maze. I just want to buy a product. I want that product to work for years. It should be reliable not flashy. Why is that so hard these days? When did we become people who would accept junk that needed to constantly be repaired after purchase? Why does an upgrade do exactly the same thing it's predecessor did, but more slowly and requiring more resources? Why can companies build something and then a few years down the road simply stop supporting it? Here in the US car companies were required to support their products for 15 years. As expensive as phones have become and as disruptive as changing operating systems is we need similar legislation in the tech industry. Google needs to be broken up and not be the hub of the internet. No matter where I go in the net my browser always goes to google first. That's just creepy. So please someone just offer a product that doesn't make me a product by it's use.

I have been using Firefox as my default browser for years on all my computers. I have a computer at work and one at home. My home laptop has for some time now been telling me that AI search results are "not available right now, try again later". Initially I thought this was transient, however it has not changed. I have tried to find a setting either in firefox or google that has changed but I cannot. My other laptop works just fine with AI searches on google. Please help my email is [edited email from community support forum] (I do not use my google email.)
