Yesterday, possibly related to updating to version 148, my profile completely disappaered. My old profiles are not visible under about:profiles, but are present on disk. They can not be imported with firefox -P. How do I get my profile data back?

After an update on F***fox meant I could not access my emails or radio programmes, etc, etc, I reverted F***fox and refused to update it daily. Now it has updated itself and I have lost all my bookmarks, hundreds of them. WTH have you criminals done?

Hello, I never sign into my account when browsing but I've had bookmarks for years. This last update, they all disappeared. I read about profiles and looked at them but it is gone.

I signed into my account new and still no bookmarks. Is there anything else to do or they are gone?

Interesting that Microsoft updated also and my documents folder is no longer linked with the My Documents icon. I have to go to the C drive to find users and then my documents. I don't know if that's related.

I guess I have to stay signed in so Mozilla can track me.

Hi, it looks like Firefox pushed an update on September 19, and after that, all my tabs were closed, I got logged out of all my accounts, and it opened a new blank Firefox window. Is there any way to recover my tabs and data?

After the update, a window popped up asking me to select a profile. But my profile, where all my passwords, bookmarks, etc. were, was gone. I couldn't restore my bookmarks because the only one available was from today and it`s "clean." Is there any way to restore my account data? Because everything was there: settings, bookmarks, passwords, history.

My primary firefox/google profile vanished along with all bookmarks. Recovery history only shows bookmark from secondary account that is under a different email.

How to I restore the bookmarks (years worth!) from my primary profile?

To make a long story short, since this morning, Firefox had no more profiles after an update. The one I am currently using, which came to exist this morning and only contains information from this morning, is the only one that shows up when I try to follow the recovery instructions. My internet history beyond today seems to no longer exist. How do I recover my bookmarks and passwords? Or are they gone forever?

I had around 3000 tabs open I closed the browser completely today. Normally when I reopen firefox all those tabs were appearing still. This time none of the tabs restored I can see tabs in history part namede 19.01.2026 although not all my tabs are there. When ever I try to reload them from the restore history part; firefox doesnt reply and doesnt take the command.

My computer died when I had many tabs open. Some of them were important. I cannot get back into my old computer to recover them from there. It appears that sync was not enabled. Is there any way I can get them on my new computer?

I can actually see a list of the tabs. When I hit the hamburger icon, the first item is my account. At the bottom of my account is a heading “[username] on [device name]”. Underneath is a list of all my tabs from my last computer.

But I have to open them one by one. Is there any way to batch open these pages?

3 times now, my account has completely reset, forcing me to log into everything again and not working with the key that I copy and pasted and downloaded. I would like my old data back. Why does this keep happening?

so i had a bunch of bookmarks saved, and when i logged in today they are gone, replaced with a message For quick access, place your bookmarks here on the bookmarks toolbar. manage bookmarks (link)

so when I use the link I cant restore bookmarks, cant seem to save new bookmarks, and the FAQ section isnt helping, some of the stps they talk about are greyed out in my version, so I cant click on them etc.

Is this a windows 10 issue? Am I the only one having this problem?

Hello, I reset my PC yesterday.

I didn't know my Firefox password anymore and clicked "Forgot password."

Then I created a new one.

Now my saved online pages and everything else are gone. So synchronization isn't working.

I have an account recovery key.

Will that work? And how?

Please help me.

After most recent update all my bookmarks and passwords disappeared and I cannot seem to recover them. This is extremely frustrating. Has anyone else had this happen? I tried using the recovery process but it did not work.
