I have Windows 11 on my computer, it is up to date, and I have downloaded Firefox several times and yet it keeps telling me it has a problem, shuts down and restarts . I have lost many downloads and emails because of it. I just made an e mail and just before I finished it to send, it told me there was a problem, it needed to restart and the email was lost. The same is with Windows 11. I have downloaded it many times, saved pages , news etc. and when I open the document or item, it tells me that I need to update my browser It is not my computer. I have even at times done Recovery and eventually have the same problem app

I haven't been able to watch anything via a streaming service on Firefox for at least a month. This includes Netflix, Amazon, and a couple others, though YouTube continues to work just fine. It also doesn't work in Private Browsing, so I don't think it's the fault of my extensions.

• In Netflix, I get the error code F7351
• On Amazon, the error is 7131
• On other sites, error codes sometimes appear and sometimes don't; usually, the video just won't load or loads in perpetuity

My internet connection is fine at home and fwiw, there doesn't seem to be a difference at my friends' house.

There is this new notification asking if i want to use google mail on Firefox, and pressing 'Not now' or closing with the X does not help, this notification pops up on every Firefox launch

A few times now I have suddenly found Firefox unable to load any web pages all while other browsers and apps on the same Windows 11 system continue to function as expected. At first thought it was IPv6, so disabled that at the system level to no effect. Additionally confirmed that DNS over HTTPS is disabled as our firewall blocks direct access to known public DNS servers.

Today however I have noticed that Firefox seems to get into this state after I execute some actions in Microsoft Outlook web (https://outlook.office.com/mail/inbox/) , which I do have running in a container specifically for work pages (Firefox Multi-Account Containers)

If I force-close FireFox and reopen it, it will continue to function as expected.

when I watch 360 videos on youtube, the video glitches. Like it stutters, as if its going back and forth in frames constantly. Before, it did not use to do that. I could watch the 360 videos just fine. I even tried refreshing and reinstalling firefox. It did not work. Please help.

So for the past 2 days I've been having this problem where if I try to open firefox, it instead opens like a complete separate window (not even with the firefox logo on it)? And every time you click the firefox logo again it just opens a new window again. It's very frustrating. Does anybody know how to fix this?

I have tested this with Chrome, Firefox (latest update 131.0.2). Firefox stopped showing select-able buttons a few weeks ago, while Chrome and the iPhone app on IOS 18.0.1 on my Phone display the items correctly.

When I edit the original iCoud NOTE, and remove the selection buttons, then re-add them, I can see that Firefox FIRST picks up the correct radio buttons then VERY quickly changes them to black boxes which can neither be selected nor un-selected.  :-(

I'm trying to livestream sports and some streams just keep lagging. The audio is fine but the video isn't. The streams work fine on Microsoft Edge. I've tried playing the video with all my extensions disabled and even removed, and also in troubleshoot mode. I've also tried clearing cookies, site data, updating drivers, but nothing works. This also sometimes happens on video hosting sites like streamff.com. Youtube still works for now. This has only been an issue for the last week or so.

My speeddial Amazon dial keeps sending me to Amazon.ca instead of Amazon.com. I have deleted the dial and entered https://www.amazon.com/ as the url but I get sent instead to Amazon.ca (Amazon Canada) I've tried setting the url using the "use open tab" but that doesn't work. I've restarted Firefox and created a new dial for Amazon but that didn't work. Help/about firefox tells me I'm using the latest version (131.0). My other speeddial dials are working correctly. I'm on Windows 10

Since the update last week I've had trouble loading pictures or even connecting to some websites. I cleared the cache but still have problems, especially with Facebook, but many others also.

Anytime I click a link in Firefox...whether it is in a search result OR in my email OR on a website...two duplicated tabs open every time. I noticed this was an issue a few years ago but it appears to have returned after the latest Firefox update last week. Has anyone else had this issue? Thank you, Brian

I've been having an issue recently with firefox where video players often won't load, and when they do load they are typically very slow to load even at low quality. It is affecting Youtube and Twitch.tv among others, but the videos play fine in Edge. I've tried clearing the cache, refreshing firefox, running in troubleshoot mode, and re-installing to no avail. As far as i can tell it probably started when 131.0 released.

In the last 1-2 weeks I experience severe freezing/jank when having multiple tabs open and switching between them. Previously, I didn't have any problem even with 30+ tabs.

After running the profiler with "Firefox" settings applied, I found that the "Parent Process" reports a "Jank" event for the duration of the freeze. See screenshoots attached.

After further testing, this seems to happen when scrolling the Tabs bar at the top. If I scroll the tabs using the new "List all tabs" button or if I use tab switching window, it doesn't happen.

want to stop unwanted shortcuts from being placed on my home screen. I have tried settings in Home, and about:config but I cannot stop them. I want ONLY the shortcuts that I choose. When I try to delete them or dismiss from history, either they return immediately or duplicates appear - I do not know which. Please provide a solution to this problem. (I use Linux with Firefox 128.3.0esr)

(Incidentally in the midst of typing this message, I was suddenly transported to a Mozilla advertising page, and lost all my typing. Very annoying!)

Pull-down tabs on websites not working properly on many webpages -- I'm on v131.0 (ARM [M1-MAX]) .

Clicking upon headings, SHOULD present an APPEARING pull-down menu, but the pull-down-menu is fleeting !

Every time I log on to AXS.com to purchase hockey tickets I click the "get tickets" button and it says "this sale link is not valid".

It does this for any event I try to purchase tickets for.

I do not have this issue with safari.

The web site for Pacific Gas and Electric (pge.com) rejects Firefox and lists other browsers that it will accept. Does anyone at Mozilla care about such rejections?
