I updated my firefox to Version 143.0.4 (64-bit). (I am using Mac). I was trying to change my wallpaper, so I went to the pencil and customize part of the new tab, and when I look at the wallpaper thing, I just see that it says "Reset to default". I didn't see any of the things that said upload image or any of that. just reset to default. I really wanted to change my wallpaper, so is there something I'm missing or something?
Hi, how to change the wallpaper in a new tab?
My firefox search bar is not active. I can't access about:config to retrieve it. running Tahoe
How can I get rid of sponsored shortcuts in which I have no interest? There is no room for the tabs I actually use and one has dropped off entirely.

hi i am unable to use the middle search bar on the firefox screen , i understand that this search bar is a dummy bar, i have been told that to make this bar work you have to alter the settings using about:config process, and changing the handoff from ture to false , to which I have done in the past and it has worked , but for a reason I cannot understand this seems not to work now , i am completely lost now and i am reaching out to the community for help and advise thank you . I don't like to use the address bar to type searches. I like using the SEARCH BOX in Firefox's New Tab instead. But, with each update, I once again have to try to figure out how to set Firefox searches to be typed in the search box. Is there any way to set this so it doesn't get changed with every update?

I would like to remove the search options from the address bar because I preferred the old setup with a separate search window (and the address bar was just unable to perform searches). How can I set this up?
I write my searches in the search bar but they appear in the address bar. I deeply despise this. HOW CAN I ONCE AND FOR ALL PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING?

Following a recent Firefox update, 1.48.0 I think, the search box in the middle of the page no longer works, any attempt to type there ends up in the address bar. I have tried setting "browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar" to false and other suggested fixes on the internet but it made no difference. I am running Windows 11 Pro, fully updated. Hope you can help Regards Keith

Firefox has shortcuts at the top of any new tab opened. These are usually your most visited pages. For most shortcuts, if you click the three dots you get a menu of: Pin Edit Open in a New Window Open in a New Private Window Dismiss Delete From History
This is the menu you get for almost all shortcuts EXCEPT for Amazon. For the Amazon shortcut you get: Pin Dismiss
That's it. No opportunity to edit it. And if you click on the shortcut, it doesn't take you to Amazon.com, instead it opens "Amazon.com Search" in the address bar. I don't want Search, I want to go to the Amazon home page but the shortcut doesn't take me to the Amazon homepage like it used to. Why is this broken now?

This has been asked before here, but it seems currently there is no solution:
Firefox's default behavior when using the mouse middle-click on an empty area of the tab bar area will create a new tab; I don't want this behavior. How can I disable it?
On the posts I found here, they mention using UserChrome.css, I enabled it and tried, doesn't work. custom styles are enabled but not disabling this feature.
I use DisplayFusion on my multi-monitor setup since years, and middle-clicking a window title bar or Chrome tab bar or Firefox tab bar will move the current window to a second monitor.
Currently with Firefox, middle-clicking the tab bar will move the window to the second monitor AND open a new tab. I use it a lot with YouTube, so when I move a playing video to the second monitor, I get an empty tab with audio in the background.
I recently moved from Chrome to Firefox, but this is driving me crazy.
