Hello! A site kept popping up a confirmation window for an action I was trying to take, and in the confirmation window, there was a checkbox for something like "don't allow [this website] to prompt me again" (that's as best I can remember). I checked the box thinking it would just allow the action to happen without the confirmation window, but instead, the site just won't take that action anymore. How can I undo this setting? I have the site espn.com bookmarked and for the last month or so it has been opening it's various foreign sites instead of the united states version when I click on the bookmark tab. It will switch to the UK and Mexico sites randomly when I click on the tab. The address is saved as the US version (espn.com) when this happens so I can't figure out why it's doing it. It doesn't matter if I use a vpn that says I'm in the US or just my regular internet provider in the US, the site keeps changing what country it chooses to open with. I noticed that every time I click the tab it will cycle between the various different sites for each country even though as I said before, the bookmark is set for espn.com. It makes no sense as none of my other bookmarks do this and it doesn't do it when I use Safari's browser. Is there anything on my end I can do to get this to stop or is it coming from espn.com's end? This "half-answer" summarizes my frustration. FWIW, both computers are late-model MacBook Pro - call them Mac1 and Mac2. Both have Sync set up. I have about 40 tabs open in 3 FF windows on Mac1. I need to open all 40 tabs (which can all be in one window if that's easier) on Mac2.

On Mac 2, I can see the list of open tabs from Mac1 when I click the account name (after clicking the "hamburger patties"). If I click on one of them, that tab is opened on the current tab... terrific - BUT, I don't want to repeat this 40 times!!

Is there no way to select ALL tabs, or export all open tabs to a file - or something that makes a little more sense than repeating a task 40 times?

I have followed all the instructions so that when I start Firefox it opens all previous tabs but it doesn´t! It doesn´t even show a Restore option in settings or history no matter how I try to find it... it is very annoying! I am using a Mac book air .... why does it not work the same as it downs in Windows OS ?

I find when I am browsing on Firefox and swipe down on my Macbook trackpad, the browser often interprets even a slightly leftward slant as a command to go back a page. Is there a way to disable the swipe left/previous page function or to make it less sensitive?

I have always had my browser set to ask me where to save anything I'm downloading, as you can see by the attached screenshot. However, every single file I have downloaded for the past 2-3 days has first gone into my Downloads folder instead, forcing me to re-download the file in order to get it into the correct folder. If this was for personal usage, I wouldn't care, but having to continually download business files is getting old very very quickly. Firefox has been my default browser for the better part of two decades. I really don't want to switch to Chrome or Safari just because Firefox won't let a power user customize their usage experience.

How can I get a list of all the sites that are set to "always open" in a specific container? For example, I want to see a list of all the sites set to always open in the Work container. I would also like to edit the list without needing to manually visit each site.

I've read all the articles here about importing my passwords and history, but the Import Wizard is ONLY giving me the option to import my bookmarks. Even if I can't get the browsing history I need to be able to migrate my (extensive) password list.

I've exported my Safari passwords as a .csv file, but there doesn't seem to be an option to import a .csv file.

The page here regarding it says the feature is 'disabled by default' but does not say it's unavailable and I can't find clear instructions for how to activate the feature so that I can import my passwords. Can anybody help?

I have Firefox 96.0.1. As of this morning, images will no longer load on any websites. The only thing that has changed since yesterday is that I followed some advice from the Washington Post on how to prevent scam emails. I have spent nearly two hours searching for and following advice to restore images on Firefox, but nothing has worked. I need more direct assistance!

What is the last Firefox version that works with MAC Lion OS X 10.7.5?

I have a study program of that vintage that plugs into firefox and the version on the computer now is 3.0.10 (from year 2009 and the program does not work with it.

The program is compatible with Lion OS X 10.7.5 but the Firefox version is too old.

The version 3.0.10 on the computer does not work well with most sites or crashes. The intent is not to expect to browse, just be new enough for this program for its dedicated use.

The BBC website believes I am in another country, other than the UK. It currently redirects from bbc.co.uk to bbc.com, with some content no longer being available.

I have checked my IP, and it is currently a UK-based IP address. I do not have any active VPN profiles.

I have refreshed Firefox, deleted profiles, and redownloded but still the issue presists.

This problem is not reflective on any other browsers on the same machine.

Hello, I've followed Firefox's invitation to install and update the browser on my Mac. Unfortunately the new version is not compatible with OS 10 El Capitan, my operating system, so now I can't use Firefox at all. How I do get the old version back?

Firefox has arranged my extensions alphabetically. I would prefer to group them functionally, or at least be able to separate those which have similar colors -- for example, Grammarly and Evernote are both green and I sometimes click on one when I want the other. I would also like to have the one I use most at the far right of the toolbar.

When clicking on an article link in an email from Wired, "Header overflow" is the only thing that is displayed in Firefox. It worked prior to latest upgrade. The link works fine when using Safari. I am trying to increase the size of the font of our bookmarks on our MacBook Air laptop as they are hard to read on the smaller screen. I tried "zoom" and increasing font size in settings but that did not affect the bookmarks sidebar; only the primary web pages. I tried an add-on but could not get it to work. I did a few online searches and it appears to be a common issue but I could not find a solution so I thought I'd ask a question. Thanks for any advice that you can provide.

When I first go to the URL bar to either search or enter a URL I see a drop down of sites. These are not the search engines. See the image attached. How do I remove these?
