Currently, the X doesn't show on tabs other than the active tab. Ideally, I don't want the X on the active tab either. The stanza I am using in userChrome.css is

.tab-close-button{ display: none !important } (suggested in a post in GitHub) This is the current stanza and doesn't hide the X on the active tab.

I have tried setting the value of browser.tabs.tabClipWidth to 9999 as suggested in another question and that doesn't get rid of the X on the active tab. I have also tried the following css solution :

#tabbrowser-tabs .tabbrowser-tab .tab-close-button { display:none!important; }
(also suggested in another question but it doesn't hide the X on the active tab)

I searched for an extension and got a lot of links; I looked through the first three pages and nothing relevant was listed.

Sources of images inside <template> shouldn't be fetch. I do not observed this kind of behavior in chromium which is correct in my opinion. I hold in <template> javascript template literals strings mixed into html code for further html generation from json objects recieved from api. A 'src' attribute holds something like `${object.source ? object.source : }` and firefox thinks he should look up for this thing in the internet. Is this behavior demanded or overlooked?

Using Firefox Quantum 61.0 (64-bit) for GNU/Linux.

ps. sorry if I missplaced this question but I find this site to be extremely unintuitive.

I've got the same problem as Firefoxfan1 since upgrading to the v60 as Firefoxfan1. When i want to open FF it won't open 2 times out of 3 and when it never opens or else FF crashes or i have to end the tasks in Task Manager. Once FF opens without hanging i click on a URL shortcut, the tab hangs. It won’t open. I try opening one or more new tabs, they all hang, except 1 out of about 5 which opens correctly. Sometimes opening new tabs hangs indifinetly until FF crashes. My FF/crash reports/pending folder holds a great amount of crashes, every crash produces 3 dumps. 0861bfdb-4ff5-417f-aa4a-1ba7ac97989c.extra 0861bfdb-4ff5-417f-aa4a-1ba7ac97989c.dmp 0861bfdb-4ff5-417f-aa4a-1ba7ac97989c-browser.dmp Unlike Firefoxfan1 i never experienced this type of problem, i’ve been using FF since the end of Netscape back in the 90’s. I’ve already sent these dumps to FF as recommended. I uninstalled FF and reinstalled but the problem persists. I also reinitialised FF to no prevail. Any hints on what the problem is ?

Hello, today i noticed that when Firefox is stared it forms a connection to 72.21.91.29. The way i found this out was by running netstat -o, taking the process ID, and the comparing that number to task manger, its Firefox. The extensions installed are HTTPS everywhere and ublock orgin. The Firefox version is 61.0.2, as some background i noticed this problem when i had recently installed HTTPs everywhere on a new machine. Is this normal?, is anyone else seeing this connection with HTTPS everywhere?

Every time I try to watch an HTML5 video, the volume decreases about 70% of what it should be. This happens when opening a video in a new tab, refreshing the page, or pausing and unpausing the video. I've already tried this in safe mode and with no addons installed. I've even tried a clean install. This only happens on Firefox Quantum. I don't have this issue on Chrome.

I am trying to use a script to play GoalLineBlitz and the script worked on previous versions of Firefox but does not currently work. Are there settings that I need to change within Firefox? I do not want to revert back to old versions of Firefox, but my I am tempted to do so.

If needed, I could share the script, but the script worked previously, so I am not sure that would be an issue now.

Here is a link to the script: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/3424-rockitsauce-glb-game-scout-tool/code

In FF61 on a fresh Ubuntu 18.04 install (Gnome desktop), the styling of the Bookmarks Menu provided by the little star-atop-bracket icon looks fine, with dark text and dark separators on a light gray background; but the drop-down menus (of bookmarks) opened from folders on the Bookmarks Toolbar (shown below the navigation / search bar / etc. toolbar) are styled as light text and *dark* separators on a dark background. As a result, the separators are all but invisible.

How can I lighten the color of just the bookmark separators inside the Bookmarks Toolbar "folder" drop-down menus?

(To clarify: I am *not* talking about the appearance of the Bookmarks Toolbar itself — which shows dark text on a light background — only the appearance of the "submenus" of bookmarks that are opened by clicking on "folders" on that toolbar.)

Also, to be specific, I am looking for a userChrome.css solution here (as opposed to changing desktop themes). Mainly I just need to know the right CSS selector (or whatever) to use. I couldn't find specific enough info by Googling to fix this myself.

HI, I think this going on less a year. I noticed sometime the menu bar blacken out for a second and return to white color, other time it just stay blacken till I use the mouse to click on the website and it change the color back to white.. If you want to get an idea what I'm talking about, move the mouse cursor while you're on Firefox and click on Taskbar you'll noticed that the Menu bar on Firefox will become black, and when you click on the website it'll go back to white its sort of like tabbing out.

Sometime when I go other room and come back I noticed the Menu Bar blacken out and it stay that way till I click on the site. The thing is while I'm typing when it does that, that when it making the beeping noise to prevent me from typing anymore till I click on the site. This is kinda of annoying.

Does anyone had this problem? How do I stop from doing this? I may be wrong, I think the reason it does this.. it is to check on the software update.. like Video Card update or Anti-virus update.

Thank you for your time xswordsmanx
