I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

For the last couple of months (late 2015) Firefox has returned a "secure connection failed" error when I try to access my account at a major health insurance provider. The site worked fine in Firefox for years and works fine with Microsoft Edge, but I prefer to use Firefox. The "more info" link in the error message says the message indicates the site uses outdated TLS security and that I should contact the owners to tell them to update it. I tried that and failed; Blue Cross makes it even harder to "contact us" than Mozilla does.

Why is there no "I trust this site - go there anyway" option? I'm experienced enough to make my own security decisions.

I don't want the toolbar always there (so turning autohide off doesn't solve the issue). I'd prefer to right-click or use a keystroke to get the toolbar back. The toolbar popping up any time the mouse is near the top of the screen is too distracting. It should be an option users can turn on or off or map to something besides mouse hovering. The only solution I've seen mentioned is to go full kiosk with something like R-kiosk, but that's really too extreme a solution for such a simple problem. Is there a setting already hidden in about-config to fix this or is this a feature request? Thank you.

When I am signing into Amazon.com and I start to type in my email address / user ID, the "autotype" feature shows an incorrect email address as one of the possibilities (I created this through an accidental typing error). I have tried everything I can think of to delete this "autotyped" item. It only shows up when signing into Amazon.com while using Firefox (Mac OSX), not when signing into Amazon.com using Safari and not when signing into any other site account that also uses my email address,... so, I think it is connected to the Firefox browser and not a Mac System Preferences item or an Amazon.com issue. Please help me delete this "autotyped" item. Thank you.

I use the built-in Firefox pdf viewer and think it's fab.

But if I try to print, I go to print preview and go through the page setup and it's useless because it assumes my paper is nearly SQUARE, and the only options I have are portrait and landscape. I use A4 paper, like most of the UK and Europe.

Obviously I can't bypass the print preview otherwise it ends up defaulting to the wrong settings.

Shrink to fit (default) makes it only fit the width (if I set the margins to zero - this is okay), but misses the bottom half of page because Firefox thinks my paper is SQUARE for some reason.

The only thing that works is to set the print zoom to 60% and have everthing tiny, which is ridiculous.

Any ideas? Is there a way of manually setting the width and height of the paper?

Thanks if anyone can help with this - my alternative is to use Toshiba Reader for PDFs, and it prints terribly so as to be illegible. The print quality on Firefox is great, if I could get it to fit on the paper...

As the new 64 bits version has been released with minimal add-on support, I would like to use them side by side. When the support or newly build 64 bits add-ons will emerge I would like to slowly fade out the 32 bits version as I am only working on 64 bits systems

When did the change happen? Date and time would be nice, then I would know if I made the change. Every time I go on the web I have to answer this question which is not clear and I end up with a mess on my hands. How about an exit X in the upper right hand corner? As it is the only way I can exit the web is to hold the computer's Start button in until it shuts down. I spent thirty minutes on line with a computer tech who tried to fix the problem but with no success.

I was visiting albanyherald.com earlier this morning and i was reading a comment on an article and clicked on a link the link was to another article on the website but it was a mobile link and now when i go back to visit the website it is not the desktop verison it keeps directing me to the mobile version of the website m.albanyherald.com

Recently I have been getting the Connection Timed Out on certain sites. I have cleared my cache and cookies, and it still happens. I tried it in safe mode and it still happens. I am not sure what else to do besides just uninstalling and reinstalling firefox, and I don't know if that will even help.

Now, here is the real kicker. The warning doesn't always to it to the same sites, and it almost happens randomly. For the longest time it didn't happen, and now it seems to start up again.

So I really have no idea what to do. Can someone please help me. Also I am a bit of a novice when it comes to computer speak, so if you have a question that may be a bit overwhelming, could you dumb it down a bit for me.

As both Norton and Mozilla claimed an updated Norton toolbar with identity safe would work with the newest Firefox I have updated both. I now have Firefox 42. and Norton identity safe 2015.5.6.76 as instructed. Norton identity safe is also enabled through the tools / add ons in Firefox. The basic Norton toolbar is there but with NO features including the security vault for password logins. What else can I do at this point to make it compatible ????? I have restarted my computer several times and it says they are active but I get no results with my security vault.

After updating Windows 10 (64-bit) to build 10586, H.246/MP4 decoding doesn't work.

Youtube ( https://www.youtube.com/html5 )displays red !-s in both 'H.264' and 'MSE & H.264' fields, and HTML5 test video displays 'Video in supported format and MIME type not found' ( http://www.quirksmode.org/html5/tests/video.html ).

Everything was working just few hours ago (before update).

edit: as it's quite important, the problem (and solution) applies to Windows 10 Home/Pro/* N and KN editions (without Media Feature Pack installed by default).

I'm on windows 8.1, and firefox was working fine yesterday. Today I can't move the window, minimize, maximize, close without end tasking, Tried refreshing, reinstalling. Still nothing. The only addon I ever have is adblock and when removed that didn't fix it either.

Hi, I have the 'check my spelling as I type' ticked under advanced settings in Firefox browser... but the words are not being spell checked when I use Facebook. Any idea how to get it working? Kind regards Josh
