I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I am using a MacBook Pro to access an online training via Firefox. Access was immediate, and then an error message appeared after I refreshed Firefox as requested. Again, it said, Firefox is not supported at this time.

Long ago I installed Firefox and copied my profile into it. On a friends laptop. I use it from time to time. When I was giving it back I deleted the profile and thought Firefox would create a profile again. I was wrong. I searched and posted questions in the support forum but did not get an response in time. So I just uninstalled FF and installed chrome instead. Again I had to use the laptop. I did a full install and uninstall with Rinstaller software but no avail. I just copied my profile from my PC and it started working again.

Then I uninstalled it through R-unintaller and thought everything would be gone.

Today again I installed firefox again and guess what My old profile was still there!!! Why does it not go. This is a serious threat. I am lucky my friend did not install FF again. She gives the laptop to her staff to do data entry and they would have had access to all my passwords.

So first concerns. is when I uninstall why the hell is the profile saved?

FF is now even worse than IE and for me its IE all over again. I was so used to IE that it took me months to shift to FF. Now its the same I am so hooked to FF that I just find it so hard to shift to Chrome even though my experience with FF is painful.

There are so many bugs. like this https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1085732 It works perfectly in Chrome and other browser. The fix for this break Youtube. Now I can't tag anyone in Youtube, But in other browser both youtube comments and Bootsnipp works perfectly.

Have settings to clear all cache ad history when close firefox , there a a few sites that I want to save the cookies that are stored but could not locate where in firefox to save these cookies ?? Have these sites set to always allow to store cookies but still each time go to site have call to get access to site and get a security code .

Hi, When opening Firefox bookmarks drop-down menu and submenus, the latter will not open to full height of screen but only downward. How could I correct this, please? Thanks, regards, David

when i tab a new page , google is not open with this while i had saved google in setting . but whenever i tab it start with new source. how can i solve this problem help me.

Firefox is the only service/ap running when computer starts and ties up 50-60% of available, freezes my screen and I have to set there for 3-4 minutes at a time until it finishes whatever it is doing. I have made no changes that I know of that tell it to go get all these downloads. Problem seemed to get worse when I added a Facebook page. I have no idea what it is doing or who told it to do it. I'm am not able to access one specific url. It doesn't matter if it is a link or typed in directly. I can access it with Chrome and Opera browsers but Firefox just times out every time. I have gone through all the troubleshooting steps and nothing has worked.

I'm looking to lauch a browser window with no address bar, similar to IE Kiosk mode (https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/kb/154780) but not fullscreened - I still need to move and resize the window.

I often search for PChsearch on my email to then use PCH search engine. Use AOL...I know guru's can't believe people use AOL. But I am an old bird of 78 and hate change. I do this almost daily (thinking by some miracle I might win a PCH drawing!!) Today when I did this the above statement appeared...a first! So didn't know how to solve so I used their search engine to go to FB...where I was planning to go anyway. Same thing happened...can anyone explain and tell me why this happened & how to solve?

When running Version 39 on virtual machine, works fine. When upgrading to 4x.x version, browser is very slow. OS is windows 7, tried both 32/64bit versions. Hosting OS is ESX 5.1.

Every Firefox update I have ever installed has rendered all of my favorite addons and extensions useless. 43 apparently requires every extension be signed by Mozilla. Adguard adblocker (best one I've found) will be in this unsigned category this time but this happens on every update and it's infuriating. The ability to control ads and pop-ups is what drew me to Firefox in the first place. I actually damaged a tablet punching the screen trying to fight my way through a stack of pop-ups and re-directs every time I wanted to look at a different site. I could take the ads if they were displayed on a side or bottom bar. What the advertisers don't understand is this, I WILL NEVER SPEND A SINGLE CENT ON ANY CRAP PLACED IN BETWEEN ME AND WHAT I AM TRYING TO VIEW!!! NEVER!!! Even if I want it, I will never buy it. NEVER! I don't think I'm the the only person that feels like this. Mozilla, how about not releasing updates until they support all the reasons we were drawn to Firefox years ago. I would love having the latest security updates but I refuse to put up with crap. Stand up and take the lead. Don't listen to Google or any company that thinks they can hard sell us. If you do, you'll just lose us. No pop-ups, no re-directs, please. Thank you.

My website editor has worked with all previous versions of firefox. Does not work with 44 on my Mac. My website editor will not save edits and its html editor won't open. I cleared cache and history--no help. My website editor DOES work on my PC with firefox version 39. Please help.
