suggests I can change printing options.

My printing options do not show that. They just say Format For, and Paper size: and Orientation:

How do I temporarily suppress headers and footers when printing in firefox? (Why would I want to uglify my paper with it in the first place when printing passes, maps, return receipts, etc?).

I noticed several domains, mysupercheap.com and ndsvc.com, always showing up in the NoScript block list. I traced it to an extension called Yontoo. I never installed this. How was it added without my knowledge? How can I block the adding of extensions without my permission?

I am running Firefox 15.0.1 I have researched your articles and came to the place where it is suggested to drag the Icon for that function and drop it into the customize section of the Bookmarks Tool bar. When I drop it in there the icon shows, BUT the instant I close the palette the new added icon on the taskbar is gone.

I have customized the bookmarks managing quite extensively. That is why the option of resetting it makes me panic, specially that I have lost bookmarks more than a couple times while upgrading FF versions.

I have set 20 folders where I have sorted hundreds of bookmarks.

My add-ons are: - Adblock Plus 2.1.2 - DblClicker 1.6.1 - Flashblock 1.5.15.1 - Java Console 6.0.33 - LastPass 2.0.0 - Lazarus Form Recovery 2.3 - RealPlayer Browser Record Plugin 15.0.6 - Rights to Close 1.0.4 - Tab Preview 0.3 - Tab Navigator 1.1

I added this list cause of the comment i read in here that there may be some conflict which could be producing my current problem.

What would you suggest may be affecting my Bookmarks button? And more importantly how do I fix it?

I would appreciate knowledgeable contributions to help me solve my isssue

After the update to Firefox 15 the text looks really bad on some pages, like Facebook.

The only way I can get normal text i Facebook is by unchecking the Firefox option to let pages set their own fonts - but that is no solution as it makes a lot of other pages look crappy

So : What to do to get the types in Facebook, look good?

Have Mozilla as my home page.. tower.. xp and this continues to interrupt Everything.. re-downloaded Firefox, but this Claro continues to reappear.. Other than annoying, I believe it to be intrusive and maybe a threat.. Do you have any suggestions about how to remove it..? I've exhausted all internet 'solutions', none of which work.. When I open the home page.. Mozilla.. I get this Claro Search.. I don't want Claro involved, I trust Mozilla. Many thanks Neal

when downloading video files by the ( internet download manager) most of times the file name downloaded as ( video playback ) instead of actuly name of the files please let me know how to solve such problems?

I am trying to uninstall Firefox. The Uninstall function in the Control Panel does nothing. The helper.exe file in the Firefox Uninstall folder does nothing, even when I "run as administrator".

I have an AOL account and access this via AOL's software front end for email and account management etc. The AOL software either includes an embedded version of Internet Explorer, or links into the installed version of IE on the PC, never have been quite sure which but, whichever, it does integrate with the AOL software. However, Firefox is my standalone browser of choice and a pop up has just offered me an "AOL version" of Firefox. It's not made clear though whether this would actually replace IE as AOL's "internal" browser, which would be great, or just add the AOL tool bar etc to my normal standalone version of Firefox, which I wouldn't want anyway. I was always under the impression that IE was embedded in AOL and I was stuck with it, at least internally to AOL's own software, but I guess there's no harm in hoping:-)

In Firefox (15), Safari, but not Opera I cannot put an item in the shopping cart on the Amazon website. This problem occurs ONLY when buying an item in Clothing and Accessories, where it is necessary to specify a size. If I search and select such an item, like a pair of trousers, the section where the item is put into the cart is dimmed, and there is an instruction to select a size. I select a size and then move the cursor to the point where I can Add to Cart. But this section remains dim instead of turning bright. I cannot add the item to the cart. EXCEPT if I order a belt! A belt has a size, you must specify it, and you can put it in the cart. I DID NOT HAVE THIS PROBLEM UNTIL ABOUT A WEEK AGO, after downloading a Software Update that contained an HP printer driver. That issue got fixed by an HP tech working remotely. I have talked to Apple several times, they cannot figure out what is wrong with the Amazon site. I do NOT have this problem on a MacBookPro running 10.6.8. I only have it on a MacPro desktop machine also running 10.6.8. I reinstalled 10.6.3 on the desktop Mac from the Snow Leopard DVD and updated that to 10.6.8 (not including the HP driver on the chance that that might have triggered all of this. The inability to move "sized" items to the cart still persists, as described. Note again, I have the same problem in Safari, but no problem in Opera. I am allowing cookies and third party cookies. I have tried restarting with add-ons disabled. I have deleted Amazon's cookies and then allowed Amazon to re-install them. There is no firewall up. The desktop machine is around 6-8 years old. There are no apparent hardware problems although I only have 1GB of RAM. Could this be a firmware problem? Of course I have the workaround of using Opera or the laptop if I want to buy some socks, but it's annoying to have this inconsistency. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks. Gene

My system: Firefox 15.0.1 on Win 7 Pro 64bit with Norton AntiVirus 2012.

I have disabled Firefox popup blocker and I read up on Norton (it has not popup blocker) but still I can't open popups. Here is a perfectly safe site: http://www.thomann.de/de/allenheath_zed60_14.htm Click on the image and you should get a popup with a gallery containing more images of that product.

But in my Firefox it doesn't open that popup.

When I'm doing this with IE8 (I have that one too), it works perfectly.

Any ideas why the popups don't open in Firefox despite me having disabled the Firefox popup blocker?

Simply put, Firefox 15 is not restoring my last session. I have it set in my options to restore the last session, but it's not happening. Prior to the update, it was working, and now it's not working on both of my computers.

I downloaded a freeware utility from Softonic and it installed Savings-Slider. I searched the web and found only one site that has a solution, but you have to buy a subscription to get the solution. Anyone know how to remove it?

I noticed that the majority of sound comes out of the right sound when viewing videos with firefox. I checked with IE and non-browser audio like video games and video files and the sound balance is fine. What's weird is if I load a video, and quickly switch to a different tab, the audio balance is just fine. But if I stay on the video page while it loads, it'll be imbalanced. Anyone know what might be wrong? I'm on Windows 7 and updated to Firefox 15.

I would like to install the latest version of the Flash Video Downloader 3.7.0 . Tried to download directly from Firefox, downloaded an XPI File (208kb). Firefox is showing that the extension is installed, but I cannot open this file to complete the installation. What am I doing wrong? What is an XPI file and why the FVD Suite did not download? I understand that after the Firefox 15 update, transparent images have been given a white background (like in older versions). I personally prefer the dark-grey background. Is there any way to disable the image's background?

Perhaps using the about:config module there is an option where I may disable the white background? Thanks.

Any time I open a new tab, their names all stay at "Connecting..." If I do the option to refresh all tabs at once, it fixes it, but then soon it goes back to the issue again. When I tried Safe Mode, however, I noticed it wasn't doing it. But I have once disabled every single add-on/extension I had, and the problem STILL persisted. Cleared cache, still nothing.

Also, before anyone says it (I've seen it in a lot of questions regarding this), I do not have, nor have I ever even used, TabRenamizer.
