I ran CCleaner and now I can no longer use my bookmarks or even see my top sites. I love using Firefox due to ease and now that I can no longer get my bookmarks to work or see my top sites, It is difficult to use.

Please help.

When I do this:

Click the menu button Fx89menuButton to open the menu panel. Click Bookmarks and then click the Manage bookmarks bar at the bottom. In the Library window, click the Import and Backup button and then select Restore.

I get a blank slate. No files listed.

When I go into the Profile, I see C:\Users\whatt\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\shgdgxn6.default-release-1752271533405\bookmarkbackups

How do I restore bookmarks from that file?

When in browser and signed into account, user is able to copy obscured password information simply by clicking "Copy" in the password manager. User is more familiar with Windows systems and using Firefox browser on that system, which prompts User to input the systems PIN to verify identity.

- I'm used to using Firefox on Windows 10. Recently got a Steam Deck and am trying to relearn Linux as it's been awhile. First thing I downloaded was Firefox so I could easily copy my passwords for VPNs and accounts. Didn't think it would be as easy as clicking "Copy" in the password manager. Is there a way to set up a PIN for a little more added security. I've already created a User Account and it did prompt me once (I think), but with the portability I'd like it to ask for a PIN (shorter than password) or frequently. Thanks

Onedrivelive.com displays a blank screen when opening from a "your memories from this day" email (coming from <photos@onedrive.com> ) and I have to repeatedly hit the refresh button to get to a normal display of my photos. And then if I click on the photos to display them that screen of rolling, blank gibberish appears again so I have to view them by opening an image in a new tab.

And by gibberish I mean the screen is brownish with waves of dark/light color going back and forth across the screen. (the attached image is what shows up)

This only happens in firefox if I open it in another browser such a edge it displays normally.

I am on a newer desktop iMac. I only use Firefox. Google is my default. And yet.. Nowhere on my right click contextual menu is there a "Google Lens" option! According to the article on the Firefox home page, just having Google as your default search engine will give you that option on the right click menu. It does not exist, as you can see in the attached screenshot. If I am missing a step, I'd love to know what it is.

Hello. I'm having a sudden problem. Both the regular search screen and the image search screen are misaligned, overlapping the search box, or showing through. I have no idea what's causing this and don't know what to do. Restarting the computer doesn't work, and disabling add-ons doesn't work either. The cause is unknown. Windows 11 Home Windows version is 23h2 Firefox version is 144.0 64-bit.

Thank you. It's an add-on called "Stylus." I had a CSS stylesheet that "centered Google search results on the screen," so I was using that stylesheet until today. This issue suddenly occurred, so I disabled only the "centered Google search results on the screen" stylesheet.

For the last two years the issues with video stutter have been worse and worse for me. I don't know if it is because of a different codec the video is using, but if it was I would expect the fans to ramp up from trying to decode it. Instead, my laptop stays always silent, but the video laggs like crazy when I want to play it at native 1440p.

I cannot view or change the video codec, since the current issue happens on a platform (herohero.com) other than youtube.

Was prompted to download a program to Firefox before I paid my phone bill. I did not recognize the web address or name that was shown, and the account number from which recent payment was deducted did match any accounts I hold or held in the past. I cancelled the action immediately, without downloading, but am still concerned. I found nothing on the internet about this, just got a summation chat AI response that stated the phone company had no download/extension for Firefox. Has anyone had any experience like this or could someone shed some light on this?

Dzień dobry. Kiedy otwieram nową kartę mam napis "Ostatnia aktywność" i cztery rzędy w których powinny zjawiać się ikonki ostatnio przeze mnie przeglądanych stron. Tak było do czasu, kiedy użyłam CCleaner-a7 (nowej wersji) - nic mi się tam już nie wyświetla. Proszę o pomoc.

I just updated Firefox to 144.0 On the home page the Firefox logo came back. I went into about:config to check if the update changed the browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.logowordmark.alwaysVisible setting from false to true. It was still set to false so it seems setting it to False is no longer working. Has anyone else noticed this? or Does anyone know any other way to remove firefox logo?

Why am I getting error messages on conservative sites. I am being denied my right to get all information right and left. Your using stupid excuses on the error messages to bar me from seeing the information. I have been on mozilla for many years and this is the first time I have had a real problem with it. The Trump report site will not let me read any content on without an error message popping up. Never had the problem a few months ago. No security problem then. Should not be a problem now unless your keeping from seeing conservative content. Let me see the content I want to see. Not what you say is a security problem.

Almost every internet site that I go to using Firefox I get this message, "Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.". When I use Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge, I can get to the site? I really like using Firefox, but if it does not work?

As stated above, recently everytime I want to go to a sign in page on Firefox, a pop up asks me for my Mozilla password. I have to close the box and continue. Pls help!!!
