This randomly happened over the past few months but last couple days it's bad. The Google Sheets cells I have open on Firefox turn black. You can scroll and they will come back but just briefly and back to black. Very annoying as these are shared sheets for my business with other employees. It's not happening in Vivaldi Browser or Edge. I hate Chrome so not even trying it there but guessing it's fine. Seems to just be Firefox all of a sudden. See pic. Help please as I have no clue what's causing this.

Sorry to have this same issue again, knowing full well it can happen after finding this some years ago (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1319823), I tried to carefully connect two older PC devices back to firefox sync, however on one I managed to enable sync before disconnecting my profile (it seemed as if reconnecting sync temporarily was the only way to disconnect a profile from firefox's UI - I should have been more careful and removed the profile from the filesystem level): at which point I polluted the sync server.

I've noticed that `about:sync` has an option under bookmarks/engine actions 'wipe bookmarks', which sounds exactly what I need, and if I watch what happens once pressed it does the right thing and repopulates the sever with the 'correct' PC's bookmark set (when run from that PC), however it also says 'other devices will act like a reset', which i'm finding NOT to be the case: eventually one of my other device repollutes the server with bad bookmarks which propogate.

I'm thinking the culprits are my phones, If I wipe and do a sync on a phone, my phone's bookmarks stay polluted. If i'm right about that, I think my question is: can I wipe my profile (or preferably only my bookmarks) from my phones' Firefox without having to entirely uninstall/reinstall (or do you have any other advice for not re-polluting the server from some already-polluted device's bookmarks?

I have recently tried to use Firefox View button in order to quickly open pages that I have opened on my Android device, however I found that only some (random) portion of the tabs appear in the Firefox View under [tabs from other devices/my android device].

Is there any way I can change that behaviour? This is renedring the Firefox View kind of pointless, as I still have to open my phone to check whether there was maybe one more important page that I wanted to check out, that was not listed in the Firefox View on my PC. At that point, I could very well just see what were I at, on the android device, and just google stuff again. The mixed approch (some opened via Firefox View and some manually) is more time consuming than either of the approaches alone, so I would really appreciate help, as Firefox View seemed to be a time-saver - I believe I have something set erroneously somwhere. There seems to be a new function that opens a quick search window when I press the apostrophe key. This function is active on many websites, and I am using Firefox 125.0.3 on a Macbook Air.

This new function makes it very difficult for me to practice touch typing in Firefox, and I would like to turn this function of.

I've added https://x.com as an exception site but it is still blocked.

This is outright censorship which is something [edited] do.

Tell me how to fix your browser so I may access x.com again or I stop using Firefox forever.

firefox setup 127.0.2.exe offline installer fails with message about "extraction failed" and popup "file is corrupt".

Windows explorer shows file properties and a signature for mozilla.

Is there a way to manually unpack the .exe? Someplace that issues are logged with more data (which file is corrupt?) There is a progress bar that flashes by part way, then a popup window with the file corrupt message.

(Trying to update to hopefully get rid of some crashes.)

Is there a hash for that .exe I could check?

Hi, So I'm on Facebook. A friend has a new post. The post is all squished together, almost on top of the other line. I have looked over my settings to see if there is a way to alter the spacing but to no avail. I now realized why I stopped using Firefox a little while back and this is the main reason. If I can't read posts on social media apps on my computer browser what's the use?

Suggestions and fixes MOST welcome before I throw my hands up again. Edge is messed up in other ways as is Opera so I'd really love to have just ONE browser that I can depend on. Considering I used to be a HUGE fan of FF back in the day before the entire code was rewritten I'd love to be back in the fold. If this can be resolved I'll stay. For sure.
