Have tried rebboted laptop run windows defender offline scan. Does not work on any of my accounts Same problem in Chrome and Edge!

Hello. When I paste something inside firefox, then firefox suddenly shuts down and after that a window pops up, informing me that firefox has crashed and asking if I want to load the previous session... No changes have been made to my computer lately. Firefox has been updated to 113.0.1 but the problem has not been solved. Any suggestion?

Had the line

in my userchrome.css which put the close button on all tabs. This no longer works.

Also there is no Close Button (X) on hover for inactive tabs.

I cannot install the Keeper extension for firefox on version 113.0.1. I get an error "Download failed. check your connection". I have successfully installed the extension on other browsers on the same desktop computer, and on Firefox earlier versions on other computers at home.

I have seen multiple copies of this question, some unanswered, some with the same "answer". All the questions are closed so I cannot reply to them. The "answer" does not work.

I have the "Show tabs from other devices" sidebar. I also can access from "Open application menu" > email address > list of synced tabs. Both methods show me the device name and all of my synced tabs. Neither method has an "open all tabs" option. If I right click my device name nothing happens. If I right click a tab, it opens that one tab. I don't know how many tabs I have on my Android. I have enough tabs that it only shows the infinity symbol instead of the number. It has shown the infinity symbol for a long time and I've opened many more tabs since. It could be hundreds or even thousands of tabs. I have 224 tabs on my laptop. I want to open all 224 laptop tabs plus all however many Android tabs on my laptop at the same time. I'm aware this will cause significant lag on my laptop. I'm not looking for a solution for that or people telling me not to do that. I want to know how to open all of my synced tabs at once on my laptop, without having to click through one by one.

On 112, I had my css set up to make the status bar hidden and only show the url path when I moused over it in the lower left corner of the window. It also cut itself short to only the length of the url similar to the www.wikipedia.org box in the attached picture. After upgrading to 113, my browser has this black bar at the bottom. When I cleared out my css file, urls would show up in the bar when I moused over them. I've tried a few different css fixes but none of them will get it back to how I had it working in 112. The picture attached is what I'm getting in 113 right now with the css below. the black bar below the mouse over url goes all the way across the window and is always visible. Hello all. Since the update to Version 113.0 I have been getting an error in my Event Viewer which is Event 2 Firefox Default Browser Agent . I am now on Version 113.0.1 and still get this error. Firefox is my default browser. Below is an image of what I see in my Event Viewer and also the full view of the event itself. I seem to not be having any problems with the browser but I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on why this is happening or forward to the Devs.

I run Firefox on a #Windows 10 Dell laptop. I have a question and a problem, both of which involve Private Browsing.

Question: Does Screenshot work in Private Browsing? If so, how do I enable it.

Problem: When I'm in Private Browsing, my headphones aren't recognized; in normal browsing,the headphones are recognized. is this a Firefox problem or a Dell problem?

Till version 112 I used this in my userChrome.css to get back the close buttons on tabs, but only when I hover over them (active or inactive tabs): .tab-close-button{ display: none } .tabbrowser-tab:not([pinned]):hover .tab-close-button{

But now with version 113.0.1 it doesn't work at all and no X appears when I hover over my tabs.

I tried adding #tabbrowser-tabs[closebuttons="activetab"] on top of the previous code, but it made the X appear all the time.

How could I update this code so I get the desired result only when I hover over a tab?

I been having problems with firefox using up most of my cpu while browsing some websites and it doesn't even load as fast as before. This has been happening for a few days now. Prior to this, firefox was fine and loading pretty quick, but these last few days have been painful.

Thinking that was a small bug, i restarted my computer. Before opening the firefox again, I opened up task manager to check how much resources will the browser be using. Before that usage would be normal and not even close to high, but opening firefox and waiting a few seconds to let the home window appear, the task manager showed that it was using all of it still.

I browsed some other help questions on this website and disabled "Use recommended performance settings", because that was one of the solutions on one of the relevant questions. But even that didn't do reduce resource usage either. Is there any way to fix this or will I have to suck it up and suffer with slow loading?

For the past few weeks, Firefox has started crashing when logging into various websites. I've updated Firefox, cleared cookies etc, reinstalled Firefox, opened it in Troubleshooting mode, updated my OS, disabled extensions... everything I can think of. After some sleuthing, it seems to only happen when trying to log into a website. Doesn't happen on every site, which is weird.

This is so frustrating, please help!

I've tried everything to fix poor picture quality when streaming "third party" videos, e.g., YouTube. Colors are washed out; weird contrast; everything looks like it's coming through a haze. Streams from Netflix, Amazon look normal. And sorry, guys, the same third party streams from YouTube et al. look totally normal in the MS Outlook browser. Have tried all kinds of settings and rebooted as well. No change.

Please advise. This problem appears to be unique to Firefox.

Just recently, in the past day or so, when I do a search in the search box, all the results get redirected to Bing instead of Google, that I have in my settings as default. I have checked my settings, I even removed Bing from the list, and I still only get Bing results. Even when I go to Google and use their search box on their domain, I get Bing results. I did a virus scan without finding any problems. I'm stumped and don't understand why this happened and nothing I do can detect uncovers why this is happening.

Really irritating when I have to spend my time fixing stuff that is lurking in cyberspace!

I'm on the ESR and just updated from 112.0.2 to 113.0.1. I had text rather than icons displayed on my toolbar. Now the text has vanished and I can't find a way to get text OR icons back. I have a disabled extension Classic Theme Restorer installed, but I thought it was already disabled long ago. In the Customize Toolbar dialog, the unused icons are displayed with text labels. When I drag one to the toolbar, it turns invisible like all the rest.

I have been using code (stored in the Chrome folder of my profile) to keep the 'open application menu' pancake button on the left end of the toolbar. After I updated to version 113.0.1 today, I see that button shifted back to the right end of the bar. I do NOT want it there. Can you fix it so the code will work again? Is there alternate code or some other means to accomplish the same end?

My old PC crashed and I want to transfer my bookmarks from the old hard drive to my new PC running windows 11. I have unlocked hidden files, but when I ran drive:\Users\username\AppData\roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles nothing came up. I then ran places.sqlite and a list of places.sqlite appeared with some files having -wal &-shm after them?

I believe from reading here this is where my bookmarks are?

If so, how do I transfer them to my existing PC hard drive to use please? Many thanks Chris

Last Tuesday, Win 11 AND Firefox both updated on the same day, Firefox to 113.0.1. Ever since, my Firefox has experienced SIGNIFICANT lag time loading even the most basic of websites. It feels like Netscape 1.0 slow (yes, I'm that old). I've disabled 2/3ds of my addons to see if that would help and it hasn't. I don't know if it's an issue with the Win 11 update (KB5026372), with Firefox or some combination of both, but any help in addressing this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Since `monospace` means something diffrent on every device, and I need consistency between clients I use `Roboto Mono` on my Website as ASCII-Art font. For some reason Firefox on Windows cannot render the font properly (view image). What can i do to fix this? The problem presists across my desktop and Laptop.
