I don't have access to the primary email to do anything. I do have the secondary email entered but it's asking for a code from the primary email to change it, like I mentioned we don't have access to. Is there any help for this. Hate to lose what we have.

How do I edit my e-mail address to a new one? I have to change all my accounts due to my current e-mail provider retiring their domain and switching to a new one.

To access https://accounts.firefox.com/ I used my email address xxxx@yahoo.com. I tried to change this email address to my email address xxxx@myonline.be following the prescribed procedure. I then received a message that this email address was already in use. Perhaps I once registered with this email address, but I no longer remember the password. Therefore, I'm unable to create access withe the email address as I'd like. How can I resolve this issue?

Hi! I had a firefox account when I worked for the law firm McCormick Barstow a few years ago. I haven't worked there for a few years. I just set up firefox on my personal computer, but am having problems changing my primary email from my work email ([email address]) to my personal email ([email address]). Can you help? I have no way of receiving any codes going to my old work email address which no longer exists. Thank you, Gina Axsom

Using Firefox browser 126.0.1 via Steam Deck desktop running SteamOS 3.6.22; I am unable to download any extensions. I tried to download uBlock Origin and ProtonVPN through addons.mozilla.org, but recieved an error message:

"Installation aborted because the add-onn appears to be corrupt."

I then checked other extensions I found on the front page recommendations, like "Dark Reader" and "Image Search Options" and they gave me the same error.

Could not find anything that helped my situation upon searching for solutions, any help would be appreciated.

my old email was discontinued kanokla no longer provides the service ,so i got a gmail address and i wish to update my primary but i cant because i need a 6 digit code from my kanokla email which doesnt exist any more.so i cannot update my info because i am working towards installing Linux and i am trying to get everything in order. can you help please my new email is [email removed]@gmail.com

I am returning to Firefox and need to reconfigure my account to a different email address as username. From what I can tell, I can change my profile name but the username will still be the old email address. Is my only option to start again with a new account? If so, how can I do that and completely remove the old one?

when I wanna update my email preferences, a wrong email is shown up on the page. I have no secondary emails in my account. Could you please look into that and delete every other email than my primary? In the screenshot attached, you can see it clearly.

Hello, I previously had my personal email attached to a Firefox Account. I added other emails, changed the primary email, and then completely removed my personal email from the account.

However, Mozilla still allows login with that removed email and prevents me from creating a new Firefox Account with it.

I need the email login association fully cleared so this email can be used for a separate Firefox Account, while keeping the existing account intact.

Can you please reset/remove the hidden email ownership binding on your end?
