My firefox has been crashing for the past 2 hours, tried troubleshoot mode but it is still crashing every other second.
On some websites the tabs are not crashing- example mozilla website. On other websites (Twitch) -reddit it is crashing.

With the updatem I keep having tabs crashing. Can I go back to the prior version?

Today (20-10-2022) mozilla show some changes in layout with infos about that change. Mostly is mozilla icon in top left corner. But now the app just keeps failling. 4 tabs open and freezes. youtube can take one song to the end without several stops (hiccups) or stop completely. And it gets to slow to open a new page or simply doesn't open and i get a message that mozilla is not responding.

Firefox is crashing when launched, but not all the time. After a couple of tries, it will launch without issue. This is a brand new Windows 11 Pro installation with all updates. I have run some windows debloating scripts like privacy.sexy and WinDebloatTools, thinking that might have something to do with it, but not sure where to start in troubleshooting this. Any help with where to start looking would be great. Thanks!

Hi there, like it says. My firefox crashes immediately upon trying to play a video. Even simply scrolling over a video on youtube or google results, it breaks when it tries to the preview. This is the same on Twitter, Facebook, Campus Moodle, etc. Every website I use.
I've had this problem before and I did fix it by totalling wiping my history and browsing cache. Doing that and having to sign back into everything is super tedious though and I don't want it to keep happening. This doesn't happen when I use firefox's troubleshooting mode, everything works as normal and videos play without the browser crashing. So I think it must be something specific to my browsing history somehow? But I've no idea how that could crash the browser just from trying to play a video.

My firefox browser keeps crashing 7-10 times everyday . Sometimes it forces me to reset firefox then login back to my google accounts and extensions . It is very frustrating to login everyday specially google accounts as it requires 2-Step verification .
I feel nostalgic using firefox because I have been using firefox since my childhood started from 10 years ago when I first start browsing in the internet . I have not moved to any other browsers ever since . It might found to be a bit funny that I grew some emotions using this great browser and I believe the issue can be fixed .
If the crashing issue is not fixed then I am afraid that I may move to using other browsers and that looks a lot easier than facing the issue .

Hi there. Whenever I open a new tab, it crashes, meaning that the rest of the browser keeps working fine but it is unable to load the contents of about:newtab and replaces them with a crash error. I have been tinkering around with the settings and found out it only happens when "shortcuts" is turned on for New tab. If turned off, New tab loads normally. Full disclosure: I am using Nightly on a computer nearly (but not totally) supported by Windows 11. No Nightly experiments that I think should interfere with a new tab are turned on. Firefox crashes with the same issue as before (https://support.mozilla.org/hu/questions/1395270), but with two minor differences. I'm now using the latest version of ExplorerPatcher and Firefox works fine in safe mode. I tried disabling all the add-ons, themes and extensions in while in safe mode and then launch Firefox, but it didn't work. The developer made the issues and discussion sections read only on the project's GitHub page, so I'm unable to contact them. Here are the logs about the most recent crashes:
