The dialogue box says "The application is exiting and cannot service this request"

Nonetheless Firefox seem to be functioning as I would expect apart from the irritating appearance of the dialogue box that I have described.

I attached a scan of the dialogue box - how do I prevent it appearing and/or is it signifying anything important,

1 stop popping up stuff everytime i open firefox, thats why i left google in the first place

2 shut up about ai no human with an actual brain cares

3 fix the memory leak that has been a problem for maybe a little over a year now, no extensions installed firefox crashes on a regular basis when not in focus.

Fix these things and ill come back. Till then, im done downloading firefox for my systems and my customers. Its unstable and unusable... In a time where theres barely any other option.

Okay. So I downloaded Firefox on my chromebook from flathub, but it keeps crashing. I open a new tab: it crashes. I close a tab: it crashes. I don't open or close anything: it crashes. I don't touch anything: it crashes.

I've says that either my theme or one of my add-ons is causing the crashes but I removed my theme and it still crashes and I can't remove any add-on because it crashes if I try to open a new tab.

Now, did/does anyone else have this problem or am I just stupid and missing a very obvious thing.

Hello, I’ve been increasingly frustrated over the past few weeks with your browser, which I prefer over all the others, because it keeps crashing constantly. I’ve tried several small fixes suggested by IT professionals, such as clearing the cache, running an antivirus scan, and deleting my browsing history, but the issue persists with no improvement. At this point, my last option seems to be uninstalling and reinstalling the application, but I’m concerned about losing my bookmarks. Could you please advise me on how to resolve this issue? M. I have asked several times, and received no responses that helped. I am continuously hammered with GAH! I've tried everything I've found both from Mozilla, and Google AI, but have had no solutions. What am I missing? If I have to uninstall, then reinstall Firefox, I'm going back to one of the better versions, like 98, or 99, or earlier, which I've got on old HDD's that still function. Thanks to anybody who can offer a real solution.

Since the latest Firefox update, it has frozen the app & crashed my computer multiple times within a few days; it has also caused problems logging into my primary bank account ("access denied") but has nothing to do with the bank (I called the bank; no problems there, but they suggest using Chrome browser. NO WAY!) Every time Firefox has updated the past few months, it has interfered with my password vault’s proper functioning {Last Pass}. I am using a late 2012 Mac mini, running OS 10.15.1 (the newest acceptable OS for my computer). I attribute some of the problem to their adding a number of new features without making certain the basic app is stable.

Hi The tabs have crashed notice keeps coming up on every change of page !!! I have the latest version installed with all my passwords saved, I am not a PC wizard so please explain how to solve this simply its driving me crazy !

Every time I run Firefox 152.0b10 on Macos Tahoe 26.5.1 Mini it flickers and crashes. Its reporting a webrender compositor error. I made a new installation and it worked but I will have lost all my extensive userChrome/Content customization, as well as hours of time today and more hours to come transferring across and doing things like typing this out and checking versions.

And it flickers awfully on the new installation so is unusable. What should I do? I'm typing this on my Macbook Pro with M3 Pro & Macos Sequoia 15.2, which is not running Tahoe as it bricks all the Adobe software on the laptop. I refuse to rent Photoshop and Premiere for the exhorbitant price Adobe charge, and am transitioning to DaVinci products but not yet done learning.

I have cleared all caches, reset all the hardware acceleration stuff to off or force-disabled, and done everything else suggested by any and every AI agent, like switch off Widevine for a bit then on, or stop UBlock0 running in any way, shape or form. Things change when such things are done but don't work.

You updated your browser on my pc today. Now I can’t open it. It opens but has not opened any sites. I’ve had to use bing. I’ve used your browser for several years but unfortunately I’ve not been able to. It locks up when I try to open YouTube. The blue circle starts and locks up. Too bad.

Firefox is shutting down all my active tabs automatically WITHOUT asking me. This is regularly happening and wastes a lot of time. Is it due to installing Updates ? I DON"T want ANY updates and I am fully happy with my current version. If this doesn't go away, I will have to delete this browser and move elsewhere.

Following my traumatic brain injury I do have a reading disability search that perusing your articles could take me up to a week.

As you see I am running Windows 10 on a laptop which Microsoft said I was good for another year using this OS. Your latest download executed and after 2 reboots continuously crashes after trying to view any of the five windows a browser I had open with multiple tabs in each.
