I have been having issues with Firefox since the new update. It will work for 5-10 minutes and then cashes and freezes my Macbook. I then have to restart my entire system. I have always loved using Firefox but lately its more of a pain and have been thinking of changing,

I have notebook no issues, My Desktop however I get tabs crashing with firefox, Apache Open Office but not with Doc files in open office and not with chrome and Edge they run without any issues. My computer is awsome it seems to me this version of firefox is either being pushed out or its not coping with large loads. I removed all of my 32gb ram tonight just to test the ram my ram is fine. I have been with you since the netscape days and I prefer your features butthe browser needs a rebuild with the current look and workings and also the other benifits chrome offer with pdf etc Thank you for reading this. Bill Shannon

Is it a known issue that opening JIRA web pages immediately crashes and closes the Firefox browser on Windows 11. It never happened on Windows 10 however due to Windows 10 end of life we've been forced to upgrade at work. Now this crashes on a key webpage (we're software delevelopers). So we might have to change to Chrome which I really don't want to do. It would be great if you could find any or many crash reports I've filed and fix the issue.

I GOT TIRED OF FREQUENT FIREFOX CRASHES (C0000005) IN BOTH THE 64-BIT AND 32-BIT DESKTOP VERSIONS. I HAVE BEEN USING THE 64-BIT VERSION IN WINDOWS 11 (I HAVE A HIGH-END SAGER LAPTOP WITH 32GB RAM. Ran into an interesting bug with Firefox since installing the macOS26 Dev beta. Whenever I use command space to bring up spotlight, Firefox become unresponsive, the beach ball will spin. It will only happen if Firefox is in focus when I use spotlight, and only if I am signed into Firefox sync.

I am not sure of a way to help replicate this issue as it seems to only happen when signed with Sync, but I would be happy to provide additional if I can.

I run Firefox under Linux Mint. Both are always update to the latest level. Over the past 1 to 1.5 years, across updates to both Firefox and Mint and multiple 'clean' installs of Firefox, I have experienced many crashes from Firefox per week. Sometimes there will be as many as 5 per day, but never less than one per day. During the same period I have also been running Vivaldi; it has not crashed once in that time. Now I have to do something. If there is a simple way to perform 'problem source identification', that is within my capability, I would be grateful for advice. If there is not, then clearly I will have to un-install Firefox.

As far as I can tell both of these browsers run with just 1 add-on/extension: uBlock Origin. Disabling this extension in Firefox does not stop Firefox from crashing.

Firefox keeps crashing and Hanging and I get the error message "gah your tab etc" I have followed the advice for fixing the problem but it keeps coming back Its really annoying when you are trying to do something I'm no computer whiz and I have looked at the crash reports, its just gobble gook to me, I need help to fix the problem.

Firefox crashes every day or so on my home computer. The most common error message is "kmode exception not handled." I've tried the suggested fixes. Nothing helps. The crashes are not being recorded in "about crashes" or in %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\. So it seems the crash reporter has to be fixed before the problem causing the crashes can be identified. Firefox does not crash on my office computer and no other program causes my home computer to crash. Thank you.

It appears that I have a zombie Firefox browser running because when I close the browser using the top right 'X' button, the Firefox processes are still running when I check Task Manager.

If I end the Firefox task and reopen Firefox the first attempt seems to be stuck crashing because there's no crash log, but I can see in the task manager there's a crashhelper. A second attempt opens just fine, but the issue with that is my previously opened browsers are gone even with the setting to reopen them is enabled.

I've tried reinstalling, disabling my extensions, and updating Java, but none of these resolve the issue.

I recently swapped to firefox and have had issues with my tabs crashing. There are days where a tab will repeatedly crash, or not at all. It always crashes on 1 tab. I've tried most of the suggested solutions, profiles change, addon troubleshooting, hardware acceleration, updating/reinstalling. Currently on windows 11.

I have today encountered a reproducible issue with Firefox 145.0.2 (64-bit) on my system (CachyOS Linux). Whenever I press the "Print" button in the printing dialog for a PDF file, the browser freezes and no longer reacts to anything. I had to kill the process manually and try again. I have then downloaded the PDF and opened a different application to print it - that worked fine. Is this a known issue with Firefox? Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?

I already tried resetting the printer settings in the browser, but that did not change anything.

Hi there, I'm wondering why Firefox is crashing tabs like crazy for me the last few days. Chat Gpt reckons these screenshots indicate a problem with the JavaScript Engine. I'm looking for expert help to differentiate the cause so I can be sure my hardware isn't damaged. Scrolling fb or youtube , even using chat gpt and firefox just throws me a crashed tab. I have uploaded the reports that chat gpt has reviewed to ensure it is being accurate.

I'm mainly looking to find out so I can rule out if there are problems with my hardware .Any help identifying the source of the errors would be greatly appreciated!

TV signal, and audio cuts out (black screen) when using mouse arrow to drag scroll in side bar. Also gives a loud audible "click" as sound is temporarily cut out. ( Most probably whole HDMI signal is cut)

Firefox Desktop (x64) worked normally until the version 135 update was installed. Now tabs (even a single tab) crash after startup unless Firefox is run in troubleshooting mode or Windows 8 compatibility mode.
