I would like sign in using a Yubi Key, and without using a smart phone. (this should also include having a spare Yubi Key) The whole reason I got a Yubi Key is I don't have or want a smart phone (I do have one but it sits a home doing nothing). I also don't think its a wise move to have my login mechanism that authenticates me on an internet accessible general computing device. If that gets compromised then my account is compromised.

But when I tried to add 2FA to my account it asks me to use an authentication app. I stopped there when I get to my phone I might try and see if I can get around it. I don't want to use an authentication app I just want to use a Yubi Key.

Also what will happen to my account if one day my phone just stops working or I lose it?

been having issues with files lately. i can dl a file and open the folder. if i try to open the file from the browser or the folder directly, the browser window will freeze. additional browser windows are still functional. how do i fix this? no files will open even in safe mode.

i have problem with setting up my proxy. i choose manual proxy configuration, fill the HTTP Proxy & port. When i click ok then input username & password but it keep asking for the username & password. (I have asked the proxy provider they say the proxy is good, no problem)

When using Firefox browser on my new Windows 10, when I click on "History", the background screen color is sometimes black and sometimes white. I want it to always be white. How do I do that?

somehow i lost all my bookmarks all it shows me in the toolbar is manage bookmarks i go to that click on history says empty where did they go and how do i get them back

Summary - Firefox crashes repeatedly. yesterday, I decided to switch to Firefox after using Chrome for a while. it worked fine and I synced my data from Chrome. today, at some point I noticed Firefox is no longer open in my taskbar. I decided to reopen it - it crashed. since that moment it has never worked again. I tried launching it in safe mode (firefox.exe -safe-mode), didn't work. tried reinstalling it, didn't work. manually deleted the files from C:\Program Files and AppData, installed Firefox again, didn't work. reinstalled gpu drivers, didn't work. sfc /scannow-ed, you guessed it - still crashes. what else could I possibly try? please help.

p.s. this was posted through an android phone but the problem only occurs on windows

When testing our web application, I can consistently get the tab to crash in Firefox (not other browsers). This happens even when running in Troubleshoot mode.

Why would you cancel coverage on FakeSpot? This was a tool used frequently by multiple people that I knew, and what it really feels like is that FireFox is being bought out and removing it to make it easier for all of the scammers to continue to pump us full of fake garbage. Really disappointing to see this service being discontinued and hoping that you reconsider.

Hello! I've been seeing some strange behavior on firefox launch or on new profile launch. There is a popup during startup, can't see it on the screen but I can see it in tray. Is this normal or no? I observed it on two different hp notebooks so far.

I have created several groups (currently 4 with a total of 11 tabs combined). When a group is closed, do those tabs become inactive, reducing their impact on Firefox/computer performance, or do they still remain active and impacting overall performance?

As creator of retroonline.net. We recently noticed Firefox have limited value size in IDB which Chrome and Edge do not have. This limitation prevents big games running on Firefox despite Firefox has the best performance on WASM. Will there be a proper way to change this limitation or plan to remove it?

I was planning to start using the AI chatbot sidebar finally, tried out all of the free options available and settled on HuggingChat. The very next day, HuggingChat ceased operations. I don't really like the other preset options, but I have a couple of other models that I would be interested in trying out. Is there some way to add a different model than the five preset or am I just out of luck?

After exporting bookmarks.html from Ffox on old computer, importing it to Ffox on the new one, all good, except that bookmarks toolbar shows on the imported list but doesn't display as toolbar.
