My microphone does not work properly in Firefox, it sounds periodically really low and that doesnt depend on my mic settings. It seems like that is Automatic Gain Control or something like that and idk how to disable it. On screenshot im just speaking as usual but the browser lowers the volume -_-

Fire fox is automatically playing videos/sound or both if I click on a tab that has that or also in facebook, etc. How do I stop this? I want to be able to click play when I want to hear/see something.

I have 2 problems after changing my computer

1) After upgrading my graphics card to a newer 5070 RTX series model, I'm seeing artifacts at low resolutions (~720p). I reinstalled the drivers using DDU, but that didn't help. I only have the problem with Firefox - I tried another browser, and it doesn't have the same issue. (screen image)

2) This problem is more complicated. When watching videos on YouTube, Netflix, or other sites, I experience slight image stuttering, as if Firefox is chopping frames (the sound continues), but a small amount of image stuttering appears.

I reinstalled the system and replaced the motherboard with a Z790 MSI.

When I play the video locally on my computer, there's no problem. I play it in Chrome or Edge, but I can't see it.

In Firefox, the video stutters slightly, about 0.5/1 second. YouTube stats show that I'm dropping frames at random times; sometimes it's 2 frames per 20,000, and sometimes it's 150 frames per 7,500.

I reinstalled the system twice, the drivers are up to date, and the software is also up to date. And I still get the error. I don't know how to fix it.

PLZ NEED HELP ME :))

Videos don't play on some sites. CNN. MSNBC. Etc. Everything is on the screen - image, script gets underlined when mouse passes over - but there's no arrow when I pass over the image. What gives? I've tried everything I can think of. HELP!

Greetings! I've been a Firefox evangelist for a long time! I'm having issue with my Dell Precision 5530 pushing Firefox audio to a Bluetooth speaker connected to PC. Others browsers work fine, however FF wants to use the speakers on my monitor, connected via HDMI. I've tried to change several times, however FF does not want to use the BT.

Can you please help?

'how to cast videos from my phone to my TV if I got android phone, and I have i basic Sylvania TV without wifi or Bluetooth connection, hmi and a softwaode with fire fox app.

All of my streaming services stall on Firefox in the middle of watching regardless of what I'm on hulu, disney, espn, youtube, sirius radio. It's not my internet, which I have had checked by a technican in my house. The streaming works on Safari so it's definitely a Firefox problem. If you can't fix it, I will have to move all of my services to Safari.

Reposting until I get help from someone. Windows/desktop. On Google Chrome, any streaming website I used with autoplay enabled would KEEP full screen mode ON after changing episodes. It would automatically go to a new page with the following episode and remain full screen. Why doesn't Firefox have this feature?? I'm seriously considering going back to Google Chrome for this one small feature. Every time I had any streaming service playing with autoplay enabled, I didn't have to manually select the full screen option every time. I am having to stand up and manually click full screen function. Every. Single. Time. Somebody please help me if there's a way to active that function.

OK this site is auto playing the local radio station https://www.npr.org/ here is what I have done about:config media.autoplay.default = 1 and in settings set to block audio BUT when I click on a link to a story and return to the page the sound starts playing FYI the links to the news stories do not need sound so what is not working here ? Some one made a change to something so lets fix it

how do I get sound on firefox? I mean, I have other browsers that I can listen to music with or watch youtube on, but firefox won't do it for me. I'm working on win 11 and with the latest firefox

After a Windows 11 update my Firefox browser no longer has any audio. The sound is turned all the way up in the Sound Mixer and I have no Bluetooth devices connected. After it initially happened I connected my Bluetooth earbuds and it worked for a few minutes before it too lost audio.

I have audio on all my other applications.
