Hello. After updating to Firefox 138.0 (20250421163656), an issue has appeared that causes incorrect transparency behavior in the taskbar. The problem is that Firefox expands to full screen but continues to operate in windowed mode. After enabling full-screen mode (F11), the issue disappears until the next interaction with the browser. Nothing critical, just a bit annoying.

After Update to 138.0 my sideabar (bookmarks) is away. I can reactivate the sidebar on the left side as wished. But when I open a new Firefos Window or Tab the sidebar ist away again. What have they done, mozilla ?? How can I get mey bookmarks ALWAYS shown on left side of any Window or tab ?

After updating Firefox to version 137, I can no longer stream my webcam using the webrtc protocol. I have the latest version of Firefox installed. The website suggests using chrome, microsoft edge or safari. Has webrtc been disabled?

As of lasts night Youtube has stopped loading. After reading some support articles I reset my browser and turned off nearly every extension and setting I could find and got it to load once, but then it stopped again. Navigating to Youtube brings up a grid of squares (which I believe should be stills for videos). I turned the extensions back on and tried turning them off one by one but I'm unable to isolate on that's causing the issue. Similarly, I tried settings one by one, but cannot find one that resolves the issue. Using the one normal open Youtube window I have, I am able to open a video in a new tab, but there is no menu on the left, no links on top no comments, I can't even like a video.

after many hours of Google search and trying many changes in the "about:config" section im done with things to try so my last chance is here.

The problem i have is that videos dont play if i mouseover the firefox window or tab i.E. on the windows taskbar. The video will only start to play if i click on the window/tab and that window/tab is the "active" one im looking at.

It worked fine before but some firefox update f***ed this up (and yes the official firefox updates are the only thing that changed), no i dont know which update it was because i didnt recognize the problem right away.

The autoplay option is set to allow media and audio.

The weird thing is that when i open a video in the vlc player and do the mouseover, everything works just fine. So my conclusion is that some setting was messed up on the new firefox version.

Some data of my pc, everything is updated: - Windows 11 Pro - CPU is AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 3,4GHz - GPU is AMD Radeon RX 7900XT - RAM is 32GB DDR4 CL16 - Internet is wired connection with 250K speed - Firefox Version is 137.0.1

Do I need Firefox 78.0.2 (x64) and Firefox ESR (x64)? Also I noticed I have noticed a very slow startup. I have an old Dell Vostro 460 PC. I also did a Task Manager and noticed five Firefox process. Can I shut some of these down?

I updated Firefox to version 138 yesterday. I use Linux Ubuntu.

Now, this has occurred to me twice. Browser stops reacting to mouse clicks on certain sites(Noble Horse Champion, Flight Rising) after hours of browsing and I have to use right-click to navigate on those sites.... until I restart browser. I tried to close tab and refresh tab when these problems occurred.

I think this is clearly browser problem(because clicked areas are on browser, not tabs), not problem in sites itself, because problem manifested itself after hours of browsing, not immediately.

Tabs of Gmail not working in Firefox Browser even after clearing history, cookies and the issue persist after logging out and re logging in. The issue doesn't happen in other browsers.

i deleted my firefox bookmark backups yesterday, placing them into my recycle bin and then emptying it, today i regretted it and used diskdrill to recover them however, when i try to load them back up firefox says it is unable to process the backup file. is there anything you can do to help me with this problem? i have included some images if that will help at all
