For 24 hours now I have not been able to connect to Facebook via Firefox browser on my laptop at all. I can connect on my phone, but not my laptop. I've made sure there are no extensions on my browser, my firewall is off, all cookies and cache have been cleared, I even Uninstaller Firefox and reinstalled it. When I try to bring up Facebook, nothing happens. It won't even bring the page up. All other websites work fine. I can't even bring up Facebook to clear the caches in Facebook per the troubleshooting guide. It says to open Dacwbook and click the lock on the address bar, but I can't even open Facebook. What am I missing here?

I have been very happy since installing Firefox as my search engine. Yahoo has hijacked this, and when searching my laptop, it does not seem to exist, but all the searches are headed with a yahoo tab. How do I resolve this problem? Regards Barry

My chosen language is English, with French second and US English third. I want to set French as my translation language but when I select 'Translation Settings' I am presented with a menu that only allows Removal of languages. How do I Add a language ? In this case French.

I am attempting to copy a FF profile from a Windows 11 machine I created it and am using it on to a brand new windows 11 machine on which I have also just installed FF on. Both machines are at FF 150.0.3. I have done a search online for the methods to do this but they have both failed for me.

The first one I tried was simply copying the profile from the existing (source) machine to the profile folder in the new machine however FF never recognized the copied profile on the new machine (I am using profile manager on both machines).

I then tried copying the profile using the method we used to use a while back to copy profiles which is to let profile manager create a new profile in the new machine, open FF so that it creates that new profile in the profiles folder then delete the contents of that profile leaving it as an empty profile (with the name of the newly created FF profile). Then, I selected and copied the *entire contents* of the source profile I was trying to copy and pasted them into the newly created profile I had just zero'ed out on the new machine so that the new profile now had the exact same contents as the source profile. I knew this copy was successful because it took a while to copy all of the data from the source profile to the new profile and the indicator showed it copying.

Again, FF did not recognize the new profile when I opened FF with the name of the new profile in the prof mgr.t.

Could someone tell me what I am doing wrong or what the problem may be? One problem I had when I first copied the source profile to my 32GB USB drive was a message saying "inbox folder is too big for destination system. " The source profile is 12.72 GB so there is plenty of room on the USB drive for it to fit. I have no idea why FF would have an inbox file so I just skipped it. The rest of the profile copied to completion once I did that but its size after copying was now only 7.65 GB, about 5 GB less than the original. Could this be my problem and if so, how do I fix it? Hello, I can't log in to Facebook, only through Firefox, and that's the problem. Edge and Chrome work fine. I've already deleted cookies and temporary files, and still nothing. This problem has been occurring for a while.

My mac froze, force quit did not work, unplugged it, turned it back on, all bookmarks were gone and not able to add new ones. Would like to restore old bookmarks and add new ones.

I found some information about deleting closed tabs from Firefox.

Please allow users to select a date or date range instead of a maximum number of tabs and windows. Computers often restart, for instance when installing updates, and some sessions will include more tabs than others.

Firefox updated on my macbook pro running Sequoia 15.5 but failed to restore my previously open windows. The option to restore previous session was missing. How can I get my previously open windows back, bearing in mind I'm not not a computer nerd? Thank you, Edouard.

I wanted to use the Firefox browser VPN to check what the price of a certain Patreon subscription is in another country, but when the VPN is on, the website still correctly identifies my current location and shows me the price in my current country's currency. Is this a limitation of the VPN, or did I not set it up correctly?

Does Firefox VPN not work with DNS over HTTPS set to Max Protection, and when using a custom provider?

With the VPN on and DNS over HTTPS set to Max Protection set to custom provider, no pages will load and I get an error screen/can't connect to proxy screen.

i asked a few days ago i am on Firefox have been for years and do not wan to have to change. I am trying to video call with my family from messenger and when i try it say it can not on Firefox. Why ? i d love to but why can t firefox do video calling from messenger is it Firefox or is it Facebook?you will force me to go to chrome or edge which i would rather not do please let me kno why this is thank you

I have messenger loaded but with Firefox i can not video call when i want to call a friend or family. I have no way to call any one i do have a web cam. do i need to go to Chrome every time i want to call. Messenger has stopped desktop messenger that was how i could call but now i can not is there some way to Facebook video call on Firefox please let me know thanks I want to stay with Firefox why is there no way to get video calls on Facebook??

 Firstly I have been using Firefox for about 2 decades and it has always worked perfectly - you can take a bow.
Now for my problem
I have been using Firefox for internet banking for many years without any problems - the usual login, password ans secret questions. Just after Xmas my bank updated it's website and suddenly nothing works. I was told that it now only works on Chrome and NOTHING else - not Firefox, Edge or anything else. I am able to log-in but can't see my account balances or perform any other functions - it just jams up to the point that I even have trouble closing Firefox.
I use Firefox exclusively because I don't trust Chrome or Google - they are just a massive data collection/sharing operation. I have Chrome Mask installed but it just doesn't make any difference.

 Is there anything that I can do or add-on to over-ride this problem?

I am running Mint Linux 22.2 with Firefox 151.0.1
