Systems: MacMini (2018) running Mojave 10.14.6 Windows 10 Pro v20H2, build 19042.1165, experience pack 120.2212.3530.0

Ever since FF v89 when I go into FF Settings in either system none of the options I have selected display an 'X' in that option's checkbox. In previous versions when I clicked in an option's checkbox an 'X' would appear and disappear when clicked again.

No more.

I've tried changing the theme to Dark, Light, System . . . no change to this issue in either my Mac or pc: I cannot see an 'X' in any option's checkbox in FF Settings.

Please see attached screenshots. They are with "Dark" theme, but its the same no matter what theme I choose.

How to get my Settings choices to show that I have checked off this or that option?

Solution??

Thanks!

Every background on every webpage is white. I have tried: - Safe Mode - Refreshing Firefox - Restarting my Macbook - Uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox

None of these work and the issue isn't on any other app Even webpages which are set on dark background by default (say, Netflix, I'll add an example) are ovverriden with white. Several UI elements look broken now.

Hello,

For 1 week, perhaps since August 17, 2021, all of my usernames, passwords and main password have frequently disappeared.

This morning I closed the browser and launched it again. I have, a priori, lost nothing.

I restarted the computer. Again, the usernames, passwords and master password were gone.

I didn't changed any settings before or after the last update.

Any solution ?

Regards.

Problem appeared in the last few days so I assume it is due to the recent update - 91.0.2

Clicking the Menu button (3 bars), the button goes grey but the application menu does not appear. If I move the mouse around, I see flashes of the menu but that's all. A graphics problem?

I have also found that copying and pasting is inconsistent. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it flashes. No problem in Thunderbird or other applications.

I have tried reinstalling Firefox - no difference I have tried Firefox in Safe Mode - no difference

Linux Ubuntu 21.04 Gigabyte B360M HD3 with integrated graphics

Any advice gratefully received

Hi there, I am coming back to Firefox after about 10 years. I would really like to customise how TABS work because I find the default behaviour disorientating.

Can you help me with the following? 1) I would like the tab bar to ALWAYS be shown, even if there is only one tab. 2) I would like the (x) to close tabs to always be shown, not just when you hover over them with the mouse. I find this confusing because I don't know where the close button is until i mouse over the tab; since the size of the tabs is always different & the border between tabs is hard to see. or if there was some way to keep tabs to a standard width that would be welcome too.

Are these things possible?

In recent months when I start typing a search in the Google search engine box in the middle of the page, the typing immediately jumps to the Google/Firefox web address search bar at the top of the page -- that has usually been reserved for typing in a specific web address, not a general search. It is harder to read while typing, and there is no point in having a large search box in the middle of the screen if all search activity is immediately redirected to the small address bar space at the top of the screen. I would like to restore my searches to the Google search box in the middle of the screen.

Hi, suddently i can't delete history browsing in firefox. No matter what i try it still not clear the browsing history. What first i do is "Forget About This Site" option to delete single history form a website but it doesn't work. Then i try to delete browsing history from setting, setup to clear history when firefox closed and even i delete history with "Everything" option it still doesn't work.

I don't remember exactly, but if i not wrong i've got this issue since upgrade to 91.0.2 version. For your information, i use Firefox-bin version in Gentoo Linux with i3 Window Manager.

Any help will be apreciated.

G'Day,

I earlier posted with respect to getting tabs to appear below the address and search bars on the browser. I managed to solve that issue; however, the solution has produced a curious side effect.

When the browser has entered Full-Screen, the tabs-bar does not disappear and appears as it would in a normal browser window while both the address and search bars have been hidden. Is there some way to fix this?

As well, on a Windows 8.1 lap-top, using the CSS below, the very top of the browser has been cut off. It is not possible to see the browser control icons nor is the menu-bar visible.

A screen capture is attached as well as the CSS which was suggested in my earlier post about getting the tabs below the address bar.

Thanks,

Jim
