Hi,

I use a PIN for my Microsoft laptop and I have forgotten my Microsoft account password. I don't want to change the password as my PC back-ups using Paragon software "might" be tied to my current pin and password.

If I log into my Microsoft account with Firefox, I am prompted for an email address. After entering my address the password is automatically entered by Firefox. Great.

But the login details are not stored under Firefox - Paswords. There is no Microsoft entry in Passwords.

Where might the password it be stored?

WTF?! You guys do not even have a technical support category?!?!??!

The latest update has broken ebay.com.au. It works fine in private mode. It WILL NOT WORK in troubleshooting mode. Works fine in other browsers on the same Windows 10 PC. Ive also tried disabling addons and extensions, and even Pocket, as well as browsing protection (the shield icon). It just sits there saying "transferring data from ".... the next bit varies, but usually says ebay.com.au, or sometimes a different page, but it NEVER COMPLETES.

I get that it might have trouble with unusual code, but WTF is with firefox not working with EBAY?!

I have installed the Multi-Account Containers add-on. When I right-click on a link on a page, I am missing the Firefox Multi-Account Containers element shown in the Multi-Account Containers KB article (see attached screenshot KBContextMenu.png).

My context menu looks like the attached screenshot MyContextMenu.png.

1. Has the Multi-Account Containers add-on been updated, and the KB article needs to be revised?
2. Is there a setting that I need to do to show this context meny element?

Since one of the last updates the behaviour for the tab re-sizing got messed up.

When there are only a few tabs with full size, those as well as the additional plus icon is shown. But when there are more tabs and they are re-sized, then the right side gets cut off. First the new tab icon dissapears and then also the last tab get's cut off.

I attached a screenshot with three firefox browser windows showing the problem, as well as a forth one with only 3 tabs open, which are shown in full size including the new tab icon.

This is a new problem as the tab resizinng and the new tab icon used to work perfectly fine no matter how many tabs were opened.

I noticed that when Firefox loads pages without any styling e.g., my professor's home page shown in the screenshot, it displays the text incorrectly. At the top of the screenshot, you can see 'Dbobeb' which is actually supposed to be shown as 'Canada'. The problem is very common -- I ran into the same issue on Mozilla's web docs as shown in the second screenshot. It displayed 'One' as 'Pof', 'Two' as 'Uxp' and so on. This has been happening for a couple of months now and it is starting to bother me. I have already tried removing all my extensions / running Firefox on private mode -- it does not resolve the issue. This issue does not occur on other browsers.

After the last upgrade, Firefox no longer saves my password information even thought I always click "Save".

In my Privacy & Security - "Logins and Passwords" settings, I have it checked to autofill. I am not using Private Browsing and the only extension I have is DuckDuckGo. I tried to remove that extension and try again, but it still would not save.

What else to check?

Hi, I disabled several options in About:Config, and a feature previously disappeared. When I pressed the scroll button in the diamond, it opened a tag and moved to it automatically. Whatever you do with the current tag, I want it. Please help me.

Hi. I was suddenly having unexpected problems to log in in a site (https://www.lanacion.com.ar/). So I updated FF but the problem persists. Then, I uninstalled FF, downloaded it again from the repository and installed again, but the problem persists. Then, I downloaded directly rom the Mozilla site, expand it in the desktop and double click the program icon. The program opened and I was able to log into the site I was trying to. Interesting enough, the browser opens a lot faster than when installed. My question is: everywhere on the web the response is "you have to install the program" or "the program is already installed in your distro", which is true in my case, but one day stopped to work properly. BUT I'm not installing it, and it works apparently well... ¿how can it be? Thanks in advance for your reply. -Enrique.

I use the Quick Tabs Ported addon. Developement has stopped.

What's nice about it is that it's a combo toolbar button tab counter with a badge, as well as a tab session drop down menu with a search field (pretty much like the built-in "List all tabs").

My issue is that the menu is slow loading, and I was hoping I could find a replacement that can be customized to make the menu entries more compact (remove the spaces between tabs) and display in a proper order

This all started when i wanted to use a user.js file for firefox.

I followed a youtube video to create a new profile to use the user script but I wanted to change the directory so I deleted it, made it anew and somehow the default profile file that i used was gone (I realised this only later). I think I had somehow overwritten it, but its weird because in my trashbin i did not find anything.

When asking me to login to sync I gave my password but it said it was wrong i realised I was using a vpn so i turned it off and then it worked, however then it asked me for a confirmation code from my email wich I also gave but it still refused saying it was wrong, which it wasn't!

After that I gave up and made a backup of my profiles and resetted my password still thinking I had my old profile file. My logins were gone and copying and pasting the login.json with the key4.db files from other profiles didnt give them back.

Luckily am still logged into my mobile app where i have my logins but there is now a warning sign to reconnect to resume syncronizing and Im afraid if i reconnect its going to delete my saved logins on the app instead of using them.

What do i do now? Is there a way to export all my data from the mobile app? Do I need to copy my logins one for one? Or can everything be resolved by reconnecting?

hello guys I need help with this problem in firefox developed edition

Specifically, when I use the Inspector panel to inspect elements on a webpage, the selected elements are outlined with a blue border instead of being filled with color. This is making it difficult for me to visualize the layout and styling of the elements, and I would prefer to have them filled with color instead.

I have tried to find a solution on my own by searching online, but have not been able to find a clear answer. Could you please advise me on how to change the settings in Firefox Developer Edition so that the Inspector panel highlights elements with a fill color instead of just an outline?

When deleting emails in my Outlook account n one of the firefox tabs, if I click a little too fast it suddenly opens a new window with the next email in the list. I have firefox set to open tabs, not new windows. And I cant see any setting that should be making it open a new window when clicking delete. Its never done this before till recently and its very annoying.

Unable to setup the 2nd factor authentication, I have tried multiple authenticatiors always the same result. "Incorrect two step authentication code"

I have tried with Microsoft auth, Google, and Authy - Same result each time...

I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and installed the newest Firefox 111.0. I'm familiar with about:config and all general settings in programs involved.

I used to have any link open in a new tab, but stay focused on the current one. DuckDuckGo search results opened new tabs but stayed on the search results page. I can no longer do that and can't figure out what changed or how to return it to this behavior.
