Gentile Team Mozilla, vi scrivo per sottoporvi una proposta che ritengo molto importante per migliorare l’accessibilità e l’inclusione digitale: l’implementazione della funzione “sottotitoli in tempo reale” direttamente nel browser Firefox. Questa funzione, già presente in Google Chrome, permette di generare automaticamente sottotitoli per qualsiasi contenuto audio o video riprodotto nel browser, indipendentemente dalla piattaforma o dal servizio di origine. Sarebbe quindi estremamente utile per tutte le persone sorde o con difficoltà uditive, ma anche per chi vive in contesti dove l’audio non è sempre disponibile o utilizzabile. Introdurre i sottotitoli in tempo reale su Firefox rappresenterebbe un passo decisivo verso l’accessibilità universale, garantendo a milioni di utenti la possibilità di fruire dei contenuti online senza barriere. Una funzionalità simile non solo rafforzerebbe la missione di Mozilla per un web aperto e inclusivo, ma darebbe anche un segnale concreto di attenzione alle esigenze reali delle persone. Dear Mozilla Team, I am writing to propose an important feature that would greatly improve accessibility and digital inclusion in Firefox: the implementation of real-time captions directly in the browser. This feature, already available in Google Chrome, automatically generates subtitles for any audio or video content played within the browser, regardless of the platform or service. It would therefore be extremely valuable not only for deaf or hard-of-hearing users, but also for anyone in situations where audio cannot be played or easily understood. Since the Tahoe upgrade I can't login to my google account because the 'Passkey' prompt that the system is supposed to automatically trigger, never eventuates as it used to in Sequoia. I am signed into my account on the same desktop using Safari but my preferred browser is Firefox, so this is quite frustrating.

I tried accessing Peacock but was told they only support version 127+. I checked my version is 115.xxx but says browser is up to date. What is going on?

I love Firefox and generally really appreciate the way y'all operate as a company and developer.

However, I really don't like this new function to add tabs to a group. Since it rolled out, I'm always adding tabs into groups when I don't mean to. Really, it's creating a group almost every time I move a tab around. If I delete the group, it's just more clicks and distractions to deal with.

In the past, when you've rolled out new features like this, you've also made it very easy to turn off any new feature we don't like. But I can't figure out how to turn this off. Is it possible?

How do I remove the pop up blocker on Firefox for certain websites? I am doing an online course and each introduction for each chapter has a short video that pops up but as soon as that happens Firefox sends a "Critical error" message then the video stops so I thinks that's happening because pop up blocker is turned on and I just dont know how to turn pop up blocker off for specific websites only like this one I am using for my study course. How can I turn the pop up blocker just for this one website so that this doesn't keep happening?

I recently wiped & reloaded my computer. Multi-Account containers re-installed successfully & I see all my containers. The issue is with sign-in to Reddit.com website. If I try to login using a container, I get invalid username or password error. If I login without using a container, it's fine. I am copy/pasting my account info. I tried different containers; same issue. Tried creating a new container; same issue. Try again without using a container; login to Reddit is successful.

AI "summaries" or "explanations" have been popping up in front of actual useful text that I want to read. How do I disable this AI summarizer or turn it off? If this removes an AI chatbot, even better.

I tried logging into my account on a website. I decided to click on the passkey option to log in. Firefox had ask to access my passkeys and I mistakenly declined. But the pop-up doesn't happen again. It goes straight to "authentication failed" without trying to ask me again to access the passkeys. I don't see any setting for this in the settings page.

How do I change the permission to let Firefox access my passkeys? Or how do I make Firefox and Windows ask for my permission again?u I'd like to not have to reinstall Firefox if I could.

Since Update 147 just a half hour ago I am having trouble with pages not accepting commands. ChatGPT the Login does nothing,along with the things I have shown in attached. A few other pages that I thought was my computer playing up and did not take notice of. Any ideas and please no "dont use ChateGPT ect" I just need fixes to my problem.

Hello. i noticed that my shortcuts are missing. i went to settings to check if it's enabled (check mark) and it is in fact enabled. tried to reset my computer and the shortcuts are still not there. on the main firefox page there is actually no shortcut icons on there...at all. all of the options in settings work with the exception (of course) the shortcuts. i would like to know why this is happening...thx
