I guess i may have downloaded something not good. Because I keep having to redo the time on my laptop. Then I see under the plugins a warning that it wasn't supported. Like it's not to be trusted. I can't find it now. But I been having to go in and change my time zone every log in just about. Arghhhhh. Help Wizard!

After my browser updated to the latest version of firefox I now get a white banner bar at the top of my browser that literally obscures everything at the top of any website I browse. you can scroll up and down in the white banner and apparently its an error message for the extensions not connecting. I only have adblocker extension and it was installed from the extensions provided in the mozilla store. How do I get rid of this as it makes most sites I visit unusable as you can't use any menu from that site. it seems like maybe its not connecting to the adblocker server and they'll probably update eventually but until that time I cant even sign in to google because its covered by a banner that would tell me that it cant connect to adblocker.pcvark.com? I've been a user since like 2005/6 and have never had any type of problems whatsoever so whatever help you can provide is appreciated.

I first installed Video Download Helper several weeks ago and it worked fine. However, since the update of 04 March, 2026, it no longer works with YouTube. (It does, however, still work with Instagram.) Having checked all of the settings (which I had/have not changed), I uninstalled it today and then re-installed it. This hasn't helped. With YouTube, the Downloader icon (pinned to toolbar) simply remains grey and does not show any videos when opened. I am using the latest, fully updated version of Firefox with Windows 10.

Can anyone help, please?

Hi there. Ian here. My home page "www.news.com.au" keeps wanting to lock me out due to apparent addblockers on my PC. I am not aware of any that I have installed and can't find a way to remove them or turn them off. I am also not sure if this is a healthy consideration in any case. Can you Help me please.

The Firefox Color extension (which says "Official extension built by Mozilla.") has made it so that when I right click a link and select bookmark link, the menu for choosing which folder to place the bookmark is forced to be dark mode. Due to how few sites I use dark mode on, this sudden reversal of colors makes it hard to read. I tried changing every setting to blue but none of them seemed to effect it. I couldn't find anywhere on the extension page to ask about this without leaving a review so I found my way here. How do I fix this, and if I can't, when is it going to be fixed?

Until some days ago I could use the add on "Video Downloadhelper" without problems on my old Macbook Air (2017) with OS10.15.7 but suddenly the add on was not available anymore. I purchased a valid license for this add on. In the Firefox adjustments it was mentioned as deactivated. Could you please let me know, how I can activate the Video Downloadhelper again? Why has Video Download Helper v9 by Michel Guteriezze been replaced by Video Download Helper by vdh? The original versions were perfect. The VDH version 10 vdh is straight junk!

I asked ChatGPT the following questions, and as a result, I also have some questions for Firefox. Where can I get answers? I do not like the Edge browser for several reasons. Firefox, as far as I am concerned, is the best browser for my use. Due to the fact I reside in Kaliningrad I must use a VPN to access sites I used to take for granted when I lived in the Czech Republic. This morning, as usual, I tried getting connected to VeePN in my Firefox browser. As usual, it does one of the following: 1) “Something went wrong at our end.” & “try to update” or “contact us for assistance.” 2) Continuously refuses to connect, leaving with the message: “Connection Error. Can’t fetch server config.” 3) Connects very soon after opening Firefox, perhaps 5% of the time I try connecting to VeePN. This morning, I spent many attempts over the course of 2+ hours, and no connection. Sometimes I had to refresh the VeePN extension due to the immediate, continuous, fast popups of “Connection Error. Can’t fetch server config.” Then suddenly, without rhyme or reason, VeePN connected. Also, this morning I decided to test using VeePN on my Edge browser, and it immediately connected, with no hesitation. This begs the question. Is there something about Firefox that may be causing the issue? I have not changed any settings anywhere regarding WiFi or Network & Internet Settings. In addition, sometimes, when I tire of trying to get VeePN to connect in Firefox after decades of connection attempts, I will use my Browsec VPN. I have learned not to use two VPNs simultaneously, one or the other, not both. Also, it is worth mentioning that VeePN is far superior to Browsec, but that is my opinion based on how they both perform after being connected for a good period of time. I can be connected via VeePN all day and have no issues. Browsec requires regular refreshing. Either VPN, however, is affected by the internet connection and the wireless connection between my router and the dongle that sits on my desktop near my PC. Yes — based on what you described, this strongly suggests the problem is more related to Firefox itself (or the Firefox extension environment) than to your internet connection or VeePN service overall. I’m using old firefox version 55.0.3 because it supported imacros 8.9.7 but now when I load the extension file it says the file is corrupted. Is there anyway I can use the extension?

Hello, I occasionally go into the Firefox Extensions Manager and request it to check for updates. Today, I happened to notice that my extension for NordVPN was quite old (Version 5.2.2), and I was not able to get it to update. Therefore, I removed that extension and downloaded it again, which installed the latest Version 5.6.2. Is this a bug in Firefox? I am running Firefox 151.0.4 on macOS Monterey 12.7.6. Thanks!
