As described, firefox is entirely not working for any website. This happened after my computer crashed (hardware problem) and I restarted twice, but could be related to a firefox update that was waiting for me to restart.

My local network is 10.10.10.x and I can't log into my NAS, web server or another computer on the local network... Internet access is fine. Happens on Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

If I access the same web address using Safari or Chrome it works just fine and it used to work before the software update to the 147 build.

So what switch/setting got kicked over during the upgrade that I have to turn off?

These kind of issues really make me mad at the Firefox Dev team... and I'm a very long time user.

Hi. I have a Dell Inspiron, it’s a few years old, and my computer is running windows. Today I was on a website, doing my assignments as usual when randomly the internet stopped working on the browser (I was on the web for about an hour before this). There was no change to my behavior, I had been on the same site for the whole hour, and had been interacting with the site during that time. My computer still says it’s connected to the internet, and I was even able to play an online game on my computer that I had downloaded, so it looks like my computer is connected to the internet. I’ve tried to clear my cache and open private windows but that didn’t help.

Every time I try to access Citbank to view my account I get a screen that says "Failed Connection". How can I stop this? This is "CITBANK" not Citibank. Thank you for your time.

Mailfence.com is my email provider. I've been with them for years. Two weeks ago I am suddenly unable to connect with the website. My ISP is Comcast. My next door neighbor also uses Comcast. He can get to mailfence.com just fine. Can you please help with this issue. Comcast has declined to provide any help. Thanks.........Bob Horning

all the sights I've used for years will not open and will not work I can't even use them any more they work fine in other browsers don't know what you did but it is almost unusable

yes Iam trying to connect between my cos.tv in my mainnet wallet with binance wallet I tried from yesterday nothing not connected also I tried with mainnet wallet to connect with meta mask also the same not connect nothing worked iam really tiered I want to start working normally you understand what I mean but I just watch videos without working you know what I mean so what shall I do to fix it please thanks for your helpful

When I opened up Firefox this evening, websites stopped working if "DNS over HTTPS" is set to "Max Protection". In some instances, such as YouTube, the website loads, but it acts like you're offline and tells me to turn on my Wi-Fi even though it's already on and running fine. Weirdly, it seems that setting DNS over HTTPS to Max Protection, loading a website, set DNS over HTTPS to a lower setting, and then reloading the website fixes the issue, but it'd still be nice if we didn't have to go through the hassle at all. For no apparent reason I suddenly found that I could no longer browse via duckduckgo or Google (but could through Edge!). The on-screen response just informed that the sites were not available. I had no idea what could have caused this but a Microsoft fault search identified it is a DNS problem. I prefer to use the duckduckgo and need to resolve the DNS situation. Is this a Firefox problem, and if so, how do I fix it while still maintaining security?

Please help, a very tricky problem: Work Scenario: I need to use the company-provided VPN software to access the internal network. Its principle involves redirecting requests to a virtual network interface before sending them out. On Ubuntu 24.04, both Firefox 140 and older versions can access both internal and external networks normally.

Issue After Upgrading Firefox: After upgrading to Firefox 141, all connections (internal and external) fail when the VPN is active.

Key Symptom Observed: In the Firefox networking debug page (about:networking#dns), the DNS suffix should display as localdomain, but after upgrading to Firefox 141, it appears empty.

I am using 140 ESR version on linux with Cloudflare's DNS over HTTPS and with DOH active for some reason resolving a domain like d3oklwo3y1bx83.cloudfront.net will resolve to local host IP 127.0.0.1.

I am using firefox about:networking#dnslookuptool to test resolution of the domain d3oklwo3y1bx83.cloudfront.net Both with DOH on and off the resolution remains local host. I tried another browser on the same workstation and I was able to receive a resolution of 13.225.193.203 13.225.193.133 13.225.193.64 13.225.193.58 Why is firefox ESR not able to resolve that domain? What are causes ?
