Hello. I wanted to know whether it was possible to connect another browser data, as I usually use two browsers: Safari and Google Chrome. I added my data on safari when setting up Firefox, but I would like to add the data on chrome as well. Is there any way to do so?

I did not click to allow it through the firefall. The firefox I was using was connecting to the internet fine. (Despite the pop up saying it was blocked on both private and public networks.)
I can guess the video player app is being used in some kind of attack.
The link I clicked on. https://streamed.pk/watch/carolina-panthers-vs-cleveland-browns-2261156/admin/1
Btw I googled this and saw others complaining about it but basically no info.

I may have asked this before, When I launch Firefox, it opens the tab to the right of the active tab in the previous session. When I close a tab, it opens the tab to the right.
Am I wrong, or is that precisely the opposite of what you would expect or want?
Can someone please explain the logic of this? Is there anything that can be done about it?
I have this addon Select After Closing Current. Can I get some advice to set it up to work?
Also, why are there two product pages for it? link text

Thanks.

I was having an odd issue the other day, that I now solved by comparing the settings on a working Firefox profile with mine.
For some reason, on one of my multiple Firefox profiles a list of web apps wasn't working. Among them were Discord, Miro Board, and Google Pay. I was suspecting that they all had the same issue, but didn't know what it was at that time.
The security settings were the obvious suspect (Ad-blockers, DNS, HTTPS enforcement etc.) because clearly something was being blocked, however nothing helped. The solution was in the Network settings. (See screenshot) I was using Manual proxy settings from the time I messed with I2P networks (or something similar).
I am not sure why having a proxy to localhost (127.0.0.1) on HTTP would somehow cause very specific major apps to stop working, while others keep working fine, but it happened to me anyway.
For anyone in a similar situation, with those particular apps not working, check your proxy settings.

I'm using Firefox 141.0 on OpenSuse Tumbleweed with KDE and Wayland. I'm using Firefox with two profiles: work and personal - which is (usually) awesome, until suddenly it's not.
Then, one or both profiles seem to become corrupted, and closing firefox, opening it, choosing either profile just hangs forever. My old tabs show up, but clicking on any tab, for any site, just hangs forever, and no page is ever loaded. Sometimes restarting helps, but sometimes not. Sometimes restarting 2 or 3 times and then suddenly it will work. But normally, I have to just delete all my profiles, and re-create them. Fortunately everything is synced with Firefox sync. Then everything will work wonderfully for a bit - although I have to re-login to everything. :-(
Any ideas? This is a huge pain and productivity killer. I really love firefox, but this sucks.

Any Ideas what is going on? About July 21st, 2025 I started noticing with a couple of browser tabs open, a new tab opens autonomously and flitters in the new tab name area, what "looks like a TagID", then closes by itself. I define "looks like a TagID" as something that looks like a tag at end of article link in popular newsletters I see, and appears in the url bar of the linked article.
The occurrence of the new tab happens when I open the browser, within 1 minute and occurs randomly during the session, perhaps every 20 minutes.
My first suspect/assumption is I am always signed into Mozilla when I open Firefox 141.0 (64 bit), processing an update now, Aug 5 2025. I have subscriptions to VPN and Monitor and I have sync (passwords and bookmarks) with my mobile instance of Android Samsung Galaxy phone.
My Desktop is set up as Windows 11 pro with one employer InTune acount for Microsoft but I limit that work to Edge browser.

I'm using add-on (MarkA link) to annotate links. It works pretty fine, except that "from time to time" all marks dissappeares (without any clear message or anything). The data is kept in `storage-sync-v2.sqlite` database in a form of chunks (each chunk has length of 1084 bytes) as single "big" JSON. Application data is a JSON as well (here an object where link is a key with additional data for the link). All characters in "internal" JSON, which are not allowed as "external" (the one with "na" objects) are escaped with '\'. I observed, that storage_sync_data::data might be incorrectly split, what causes the escape character escapes "external" JSON (I mean it joins two `na` chunks , which after that cannot be parsed (and whole data is removed), e.g.: ``` {\"grp\":\"bibl\",\"type\":\"Mark\","na_9":"",\"mark\":\"\"}, ``` where "external" JSON is broken on `Mark` (as " from "internal" document is split into two entries, and closing " is escaped with a '\' from a `Mark` tag.
Things goes even worse, if the properties allow to contain some "special" characters escaped with '\' (e.g. new line, quotation mark, backslash, etc).

What happened to Firefox's permission's page? There's so few options now. I'm being harassed by websites to give them permission that should be blocked across the entire browser. I'm autistic and sensitive to popups/interruptions/distractions. So most permissions I simply had off for everything, because I don't want to be asked anything. I don't want to confirm anything. I don't want any popup of any type. So I turned everything off and it was good. (except blocking cookies of course)
But now sites are asking me again and there's no way to blanket turn off everything. I see I can press "Ctrl+i" to bring up specific permissions for that site, but that's not good enough. I specifically need permissions blocked for sites I've never visited. Needing to visit the site first completely defeats the purpose.
The permissions listed in the settings isn't all of them. How do I turn off ALL permissions for ALL sites. I can turn on specific permissions when I want them. Essentially, how do I recreate functionality that used to exist but was removed from us for whatever reason.
Also, it's a huge security hole! I'm a senior full stack developer. Asking permissions for a user is a great way to fingerprint them. If I accidentally hit "yes" to a few key permissions, I can be fingerprinted. Another reason I should be able to blanket ban these permissions. I just want my browser to be a browser. These permissions do nothing for me but make the experience worse.
I want to Print something from the internet in letter format but the menu to select is missing. It's defaulting to landscape.

Guten Tag lieber Support,

There seemed to be an update or change, but when I saw the tabs I had on my bookmarks they were from 10 years ago. It had links that no longer work, tabs on websites that I no longer used. I tried to use recovery but it just gives me info on 2 days ago. I don't know where to go to get my most recent list since I had all my payment links among other things. I don't know if it my toddler I caught her taping on the keyboard, I mention this because she flipped the screen on the monitor upside down. Please help I need to pay bills and I can't remember all the sites.

I am experiencing a weird scaling issue on one of my monitors with Firefox. The whole firefox window looks as if it's scaled to high resolution mode. Not just zoom of the content, but the whole window, including the title, toolbars, etc.
Note that only happens on ONE monitor (I've tried this on total 6 monitors now), and it happens only on one Firefox Profile. If I use a new profile, the issue is gone. However, if I copy the profile folder to the newly created profile, the issue comes back.
Here is a screenshot of the two windows opened at the same time on the same screen. Right window is normal, and the left window is the scaled up version.

I don't want to re-create my entire profile if I don't have to. Does anyone know what kind of setting/feature did this and how can I revert it? Since it does not happen on a different profile, and is replicable by copying the profile settings, it must be some kind of a firefox setting somewhere.
how do I remove the unsecure log in
