My bank has recently switched the position of 'online' and 'bank name' in its login URL. How can I delete all history for the old URLs (e.g. Bankname*) without deleting history for all non-bank-related URLs?

Hello, I recently used my MacBook Air to connect with a projector for a classroom presentation. The presentation was using Google Slides. I adjusted the settings to optimize the presentation--setting the navigation and bookmarks bars to hide when in full screen.

I normally use my Firefox browser in full screen mode, but have the navigation bar and tool bar visible.

I cannot figure out how to undo what I did so that my navigation bar and toolbar are visible again when I am in full screen mode. Indeed, when I move the pointer to the top of the screen to make the navigation bar and toolbar visible, I cannot move the pointer back to the navigation bar or toolbar without it disappearing again. Essentially, I need to undo full screen mode.

i keep typing my issue that i want help with and you keep bringing me back to this page but offer no resolution to my issue. i simply want to know how to RESOLVE the data breaches thta firefox found . when i click on the link RESOLVE DATA BREACHES and it asks me for the email concerned and then says i need to log in to my firefox account. it simply repeats that it found 4 data breaches in one of my emails. but does not give directions of HOW to remove./resolve these breaches. so i am still left with the four data breaches. CAN SOMEONE TELL ME HOW I SHOULD RESOLVE THE DATA BREACH ISSUE.

I use private browsing mode exclusively. For years I've used Tools > Settings > Privacy & Security > Clear Data > Clear > Clear Now to clear the history, cache, cookies and so on during a session without having to close the browser, or so I thought. However, yesterday I ran into a situation (dealing with tech support for software) where it became painfully obvious that that process was NOT clearing out the history. So, a couple of questions:

1. Why, why, does it take 6 clicks to do that, instead of, say, just one click on a button on the toolbar?

2. Why didn't that clear out everything?

3. Where can I look to see whether all that stuff is cleared?

I am using Tor nowadays because I get a trojan horse or other possible threats, every time using Firefox. I use ClamTk on my HP computer with Linux Mint 21.1 installed.

These are the 3 files that usually turn up after a full scan with ClamTk:

Mozilla Firefox PUA.Win.Trojan.Xored-1 Mozilla Firefox PUA.Html.Exploit.CVE_2012_ Mozilla Firefox PUA.win.Exploit.CVE_2012_none

I found out when my website turned out to be hacked, so I installed the ClamTk virus scanner.

I am running Firefox 119.0 on Linux and am unable to stream video on many sites. I have tested a few sites, and the only site that actually works for streaming video is YouTube. The others either say 'Source Error' or just load forever.

Things I have tried:

• Accepting cookies (via site exception)

• Turned off Enhanced Tracking Protection for the site that won't stream video

• Turned off pop-up blocker

• Enabled auto-play of video and audio on the site

• Checked for updates of Firefox (but there are none available)

• Launched Firefox in Troubleshooting mode with all extensions and customizations disabled, but this makes no difference

At this point, after doing some online research and trying everything I can think of, I'm really out of ideas.

I would appreciate any suggestions or information anybody has.

I looked for a way to remove apple maps from being the default Map when I search using Firefox on windows 10. Its not helpful since half of the info isnt listed and I would like google maps instead like it had always been.

I recently purchased a Sandisk Ultra Flair flash drive because I wanted to password protect some files. The flash drive requires me to download the Private Access software from the Western Digital web site. When I try to do this the Mozilla browser states "Malicious Download Detected" and cancels the download. Does anyone have any suggestions? I went to the Privacy and Security part of Settings, and unchecked the Deceptive Content setting, but Firefox still would not let me download the software. Perhaps the change to the setting I tried did not register in Settings, but here I am asking for your help. Thanks.

I have 2FA completely turned off and login to my Mozilla account works thru the browser window with password and with google single sign on, however when I try and log into my account via the integrated browser account manager thing it does a 2FA step. I can do this but why does it do this if it's TURNED OFF??? and how do we fix this behavior? Oh, and the autofill works on most sites but not on your signin page. Did you guys block password managers from filling in the login fields?

A tab for the Etsy website automatically appears every time FF starts up. How to stop this?

Just began after using the site a couple of times, but I did not indicate or click a setting on the Etsy site to ask for this.

All solution suggestions seem to be for pop-up ads, and don't work to block a website. Is there a way to block this?

Hi! I am trying to have a biometric authorization with touch ID on Mac, and it says on the website that the option should pop up when i go to the password settings, but it doesn't, and I don't know how to do it otherwise, or if I should use an extension for example. Yea I don't need help but I cannot believe you guys made an Firefox installer so small so its only "390 KB" and a floppy disk only has 1.44 MB meaning it can fit into a storage thing from 40 years ago. Man that's crazy!

(also I'm using your Firefox browser on my crappy 8 years old Windows 10 laptop, and ngl its great even tho it sometimes uses a lot of cpu and ram usage. It loads fast and the first time I got your browser it ran great and this old laptop finally can run videos on 720p instead of on Chrome barely running 240p)

Hello, I use the Manage Bookmarks / Library function a lot. However, it drives me crazy that the library always opens at the folder: Other Bookmarks/BSP2 trash folder . . . DO NOT REMOVE! I then have to navigate up to find the folder I need. This gets really tedious after a while.

Is there a way to get the library to open at another folder, preferably the most recent folder?

How can you find the place to compose and send an email. This may be the 16th time I've asked. Used to be on the header of the email listing to compose. You clicked it and a form showed up. Now there is no place you can send an email unless you go to the list of all the emails you've ever sent and then send from there. If you have a new email person not on the listing, can you install an app on the header above the inbox email or somewhere like we used to get before you changed the appearance of how the emails look. Hi, I am seeing issues with autoscrolling in 119.0. In Rundeck for example you can "follow" the output of playbooks that are running so you can dynamically see the log as it is written. The autoscrolling in this field has stopped working. When manually scrolling in the field, more messages appear but the autoscrolling is no longer functional. I have also seen it on other places, though I don't have remember good examples to add, so I don't believe it is Rundeck causing the issue--we also haven't updated rundeck recently in our environment, so it shouldn't have changed since before 119.0 was released. Let me know if there is more information I can provide to diagnose the issue.

Every time I attempt to do something login related (signing in, signing out, signing up) with any website that uses Cloudflare for DDoS protection I get stuck in a verification loop. It prompts me to check the checkbox saying 'I'm not a robot' and it displays the loading circles, but it prompts me to check it again. This cycle repeats seemingly forever. Wth is up Cloudflare?????

This happens to many websites that I use daily/on a frequent basis (Canva, ChatGPT/OpenAI, Perplexity). Strangely enough, when I tried it on another browser (Google Chrome) I did not have the verification loop. This is a REAL pain as

1. The laptop I use is shared between multiple members of my family
2. I do stuff that needs privacy

Doing it on chrome will reveal all the s*** I do to my family. And no, it's not like I'm watching p**n on my pc. I use these utilities for business work and I'm concerned it may leak out to my kids.

One reason I suspect it's happening is likely due to my increased cursor speed (I set it to full), but then why isn't it happening on Chrome?
