How do I remove "firefox browser being managed by your organisation" . I have looked at several posts and don't understand a word of it. I recently re-installed Firefox and lost all my passwords but still have bookmarks, every time I turn off firefox it forgets my account sign in, I then get an email to say I have signged in on a new device. I suspect it is the Norton 360 security software. Please can someone explain in simple terms how to remove it. I have tried contacting Norton but their support is worse than Microsoft.

If I wait for this - without doing anything myself, it sometimes takes 30 - 40 seconds for the video to start ... sometimes it just "hangs" ... This is extremely annoying - if it doesn't work, I have to switch browsers... What is also extremely annoying is that it occurs almost regularly after an update ... until the next one possibly, for unknown reasons, does not fix the error, but sometimes mitigates it. I cannot figure out how to add my favorite things to the toolbar. The toolbar doesn't even show up at the top of my page. I just get a string of random bookmark names under the address bar with the Other bookmarks folder at the end. I can't even get rid of "Finish Setup" which is the last one shown. How do I do find where the toolbar is hidden and get it to show? Once I do find it, how can I add my favorite items to the toolbar? I even had ask a question online to find out how to restore my most recent bookmark which was backed up in the documents folder on my computer. Any suggestions would be very helpful. I don't like the way Mozilla Firefox looks now. It isn't as easy to use. I have included what the top of page looks like now. I am sorry I didn't think to keep one of how it used to be.

When you right-click on a window thumbnail, a menu should appear, but instead the window thumbnail just disappears. The screenshots show 1) a Firefox mini-window 2) a mini-window that just disappeared when you right-click 3) a mini-window of any other program 4) the menu that appeared is as it should be Otherwise the browser works absolutely fine for a long time. But this problem causes a lot of inconvenience because I have 2 monitors.

Firefox has been running incredibly slow. I currently only have this window open, but if I open my task manger it shows 10 Firefox windows running. If I right click and end task, it will end the task, but shortly there after a new one will pop up. 1 of the is running in efficiency mode. I assume this is what is slowing down performance, but I do not know how to fix.

W 11 May, 2025 update really made my computer unable to go online in any way and I had to restore. But FFox updates to have made it impossible to communicate. My phone has trouble s too. So, how do we make stick telephone permissions for, say: G Voice page https://voice.google.com/u/0/calls now? Thank you

Seems I've noticed an issue with playing of YouTube videos the last few days. It seems that either the video(s) is slower to load and/or is slower to play. While it's not terribly slower in human time it's slower than normal in computer time. I'm not having this problem in Chrome. Cookies and cache are cleaned multiple times a day. So, I'm a little stumped as to why I'm having this issue. Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks

I've been trying to set up 2fA on my firefox account, the whole process seems to work, I downloaded the backup codes and entered one to confirm and then got confirmation that 2FA was enabled (see screenshot). However, after reloading the page 2fA is shown as being disabled and indeed if I try to log out then in again I'm not asked for a code. I've tried this a couple of times now and it does the same every time. The auth app I'm using is Aegis.

Does anyone knows why this is happening ? Thanks.

[Edit: I just saw that after each time I tried to set it up, in "recent account activity" I add an error saying "Two-step authentication failed" which doesn't really makes sense...]

When trying to do a search for a video in YouTube Studio, the search seems to freeze. Doing a similar search in Microsoft Edge works OK. This problem started happening several months ago. I've tried clearing the cache for YouTube pages.

Firefox (current version:137.0.2 64-bit) does not allow drag from outlook on the web and drop on windows 11 file explorer. It shows a forbidden sign when i am dropping on file explorer.

I am receiving pop-ups from what appears to be Mozilla Firefox saying: System is infected! Viruses detected, Turn on protection and delete viruses. The virus identified is ZEUS.2020 Trojan. when attempting to move Firefox bookmarks to my new computer, I click import data within the Firefox page. The computer asks me to select the file. I have no idea where the bookmarks reside and cannot find a file. What is the procedure to get this done?

More frequently than I care to admit, I seem to close FF instances which I don't want to close (such as my connection to Whatsapp). I then miss important replies or questions. Of course I can reach out to 'History' and try to find the closed Tab or Window... But that takes time.

I'd suggest adding/removing a 'protection' flag to a tab (eg. on right-clicking), so that, on trying to close the tab, or close the window containing the tab, I get a warning...

in FF 137.02 Win11Pro there is no reopen previous session option in the history menu, even though in settings, history, "firefox will" is set to remember history. We tried reinstalling FF. No luck.

Is there a way to reopen the previous session?

Has that feature been deleted?
