firefox upload box shows file ordered by "modified". these files are in a different order than those displayed by Nemo. The files are all created at approximately the same moment. Nemo orders them correctly file1, file 2, file 3 etc.

Ecosia search engine blocked my IP address. To unblock it I have to answer a security question. But this question is not displayed in firefox. How to get it to display? Hint: Am in China, displays in Chrome but I do not want to install it. Linux Mint 20, Firefox 79.0.

How can I get a 2 pages side by side in presentation mode? Outside of Presentation mode I can have 2 pages side by side, but in the mode I can only get one page and black bars.

Not a serious bug, but firefox warns about cancelling downloads when trying to switch profiles without actually exiting the browser. Please take a look at the attached image.

If I somehow click on "Cancel 1 Download", it does nothing, just launches the profile I am launching. So the warning actually means nothing, and should be removed.

bookmarks icon in toolbar stopped indicating if a page was bookmarked. Previously if viewing a bookmarked page it would become blue. Now its color remains unchanged?

Hello everyone.So after my latest update my firefox now : Mozilla Firefox 79.0 ,refuse to work with jquery but when I try in brave-browser it's fine but on firefox I get : Uncaught TypeError: $ is not a function.

Using Firefox 79.0 (64-it) and fedora 32 OS I've noticed there is not an option to minimize the browser window anymore. I use to be able to right-click on the menu-bar and one of the options would be to minimize the Firefox window. Only options now are radio buttons for Menu Bar and Bookmarks Toolbar. Is this a bug are intentional can this functionality be restored? Regards.

I've got multiple clients set up to sync via FF sync. Some are older, some are newer.

However, looking at the newest client (set up ~2 weeks ago), I noticed something: It only shows a browser history up to approx. one year in the past. I've checked other clients. My oldes client goes back to ~2016, which is 4 years form now. I know my oldes client is older than 2016, so there has to be more.

Does FF Sync skip older entries? IMHO I'd have to see the exact same history on my older client than on my newer client. That is not the case. Any ideas?

I have toolkit.zoomManager.zoomValues set to .3,.33,.35,.4,.45,.5,.55,.6,.65,.67,.7,.75,.8,.85,.9,.95,1,1.1,1.2,1.33,1.5,1.7,2,2.4,3

Those values are not honored by the ctrl + mouse wheel zoom. The mouse wheel only uses increments of 10%. So how do I fix it so the mouse wheel zoom honors toolkit.zoomManager.zoomValues?

For the 2nd time this week I have had a web site for a webinar inform me that Firefox (on Ubuntu) does not support audio and video and that I should switch to Chrome. How can that be?

When I zoom in (with ctrl+= for example) images are rendered with heavy interpolation / blurring. Usually I want to see individual pixels as discrete, blur-less squares.

Is there any way to change it so Firefox renders without interpolation? I am using Firefox 71.0 Operating system: Linux Mint 19.3

I have a webserver runs on sp8266. Address is http://esptimer/ but when I try to open it in Firefox 80.0 on Linux the address changes to www.esptimer.com and wont work. I tried http://esptimer/ in Google Chrome and it works. Is there is possibility to open IoT local webserver in Firefox?

When I follow the instructions for importing bookmarks.html nothing happens. I get to the Library window and select the import/export tab but nothing happens. So how, other than typing them all in, can I import and export my Bookmarks. I am using Linux Mint 20 newly installed. Previous was Linux Mint 19.3 and everything worked fine. I am a student that use Firefox everywhere and for everything, but the only problem that I have ever had is this now, I was required to use Ubuntu linux for computer networks and I decided that I am going to use this OS for my entire course as my main OS, but problem is that I cannot see the videos from Echo360.co.uk which is a site that we use for our online lectures. Please fix this bug and don't make me install some trash (chr) in my pc :D

There is nothing wrong with my gmail account either - I checked gmail is not bouncing mail back sent to my address.

For quite some time now I've had keyword.enabled set to false in my about:config because I don't like having the address bar try to autocomplete or turn things into search, when I do a ctrl-l.

I do like that I am still able to use ctrl-k to do a search when I need to. This would place a ? at the start of the field and whatever I type gets sent to search.

In a recent upgrade, ctrl-k still places the ? at the start of the address bar but doesn't send things to search. Instead, it now behaves as if I did a ctrl-l and typed in a bad URL.

I'm on Firefox 80 (on Fedora 32) but I can't be exactly sure which upgrade brought this change in behavior.

Is there a way to get the old behavior back? ctrl-l to enter a URL, ctrl-k to search.

After visiting amazon.com once, I find it has placed itself at the top of the Top Sites list in the address bar. How do I remove this unwanted link, while keeping the other ones (which seem to be based on frequency used)?
