Why am I getting this message?

When I scroll to the bottom of my news feed on Facebook, the page scrolls by it's self, I'm NOT touching anything and the page scrolls up and down. been that way for a month now 8-16-22

When I go and open any website, a minute later Firefox flickers, it's been doing that for a month now. and I always get this too, a separate issue " This site is slowing down Firefox" yet it never says what site, and when Firefox is the only site open, it still does it.

Getting sick of FireFox, I want to search from the GOOGLE SEARCH BAR, not the address bar, but the settings don't work you can choose to have the search bar next to the address bar, but it doesn't work, the google search bar doesn't work either, no matter what setting, your search ends up in the address bar, with all the updates, they don't fix crap on here, when someone makes a complaint, FIX THE CRAP, I don't need to ask 100 people why it wont work, just FIX IT!!

Prior to the last two <Firefox> updates (too many, too frequently!), no problem. Both keyboard and mouse were recognized. Since then, only the mouse, although everything's fine when I use Chrome.

Yes, I'm on the latest version, and have cleared caches and rebooted ... after every new version.

I've got a legacy transformer laptop with an integrated wacom-type sensor screen. Despite all shortcomings of it's age, the laptop's got class.

The main web browser installed is Firefox ESR. In tablet mode, control was handled by the Windows - mouse-like drag'n'drop, marking, but with added scrolling gesture by swinging quickly up and down. Using it in the tablet mode is actually very practical.

Recently, after updating from 91 to 101, browser started to interpret the pen as a finger, controls became clumsy and frustrating. The only way of turning finger gestures off, parameter gestures.enable_single_finger_input described in that question (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/973974) had no visible effect. Have fallen back to 91esr, but this is obviously just a temporary solution. Is there any way to add force-disable parameter or something?

Windows 8.1 would not load last Wednesday, so I "refreshed" it using F10; which stated all files and apps would be retained (what a lie.) Most apps were disabled, or removed, and needed to be re-loaded, as well as about 200 updates which needed to be downloaded, and still being downloaded. When re-loading Firefox my previous bookmarks were not retained, although I think may have located them via a Microsoft remedy (Firefox remedies have been fruitless.) They are not not the old Firefox folder (my most recent entry was 2019,) and not in the places Firefox has suggested looking. I will backup my current 5 days worth of bookmarks, when all of the downloads are current, and try to download the Microsoft suggestion. My question is; why are they NOT automatically saved? And if somebody has a remedy for me please send it as I will not do anything with my bookmarks for a few days.

Went to update to 105.0.1 on a windows 8.1 machine. Update failed, removed previous version and now will not even reinstall running the installer. Installer returns setup.exe Application error. unable to start correctly.

I have an issue related to copying the address from the website. When I try to copy the Location address from the webpage [removed] it does not allow me to copy the address. I have tried many times but it does not allow me to copy the address.

MP4 videos fail to play with the following error messages:

1. No video with supported format and MIME type found.
2. Video can't be played because the file is corrupt.
3. NS_ERROR_DOM_MEDIA_FATAL_ERR (0x806e0005)
4. Error no decoder found for audio/mp4a-latm

• issue began a 1-2 weeks ago
• issue does not exist on chrome browser
• MP4 videos can be downloaded and played successfully in applications other than firefox
• other video formats play successfully in firefox
• issue persists in troubleshoot mode
• issue persists with hardware acceleration on/off
• issue persists with tracking protection on/off
• media.mp4.enabled is set to true

It is hard to describe in nerd language what's happening, but I'll try in human language:

1. Firefox frequently takes forever to even begin loading websites! 2. After today's update (16-OCT-2022) search engine search fields won't accept any text! 3. Absolute slowness on Firefox, but when I try other browsers, the problem is not there.

For many years Firefox has been trouble. I keep on trying it and I end up dumping it.

Why can't Mozilla hire people who CAN do it?

Getting sick of this crap that everything has to have this BLACKNESS crap in it, 13% of the population shoved in everything, You never see Asians, or any other race now, it's always this black crap, everything in now divershittyfied.

What have you people done????????????? I upgraded to this 106.0.1 and you have DISABLED MY ABILITY TO RUN BATCH FILES ON MY COMPUTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I refreshed firefox and while refreshed it was saying browser history etc were backed up but when my tabs were restored my browser history and passwords were not appearing anymore.
