On Ununtu 24.04 I did an update and youtube doesn't work on FIrefox 152.0.4. I did an update from the Software updater and videos don't play on youtube any more. I go to youtube, click on a suggested video and it goes to that page and everything shows up except the video window. I have the title and the comments and the row of suggested videos on the right, but no video player and no video. Someone suggested I push the F12 key and look under console and there is an error there, a sourcemap error and that it isn't a valid URL . I don't know what that means. I asked on the AskUbuntu site but they get really far down in the weeds and I have no idea what they are asking or saying. I thought I'd see if you guys might know. thanks

I'm on Windows 11. After I added some plug-ins and extensions to replace the ones that went missing during your last update, my bookmarks also went missing. (They were there before I replaced the plug-ins and extensions.) I followed your instructions on how to access my bookmark back ups, and found them. However, everytime, I tried to install one of the backups, I ended up with no bookmarks at all in Firefox.

Please help, I have no access to any of my accounts!

I changed ISP's this week and my computer connects via Ethernet cable through my router. I have no real issues accessing the internet. But after waking from sleep or restarting, Firefox displays the network login prompt. How do I get rid of it? Thanks.

I am using Firefox on Linux Ubuntu 26.04. I normally work with multiple tabs. Then I quit Firefox with all tabs open at the point of quitting. Some times on the rare occasion there can be a forced quit due to some issues. In my settings I have configured it not to open the previous tabs. In fact I want a blank page. But whenever I reopen Firefox, it opens those tabs and tries to reload which is annoying. Some of these pages take a long time to reload, and why would I want to look at tabs which I already have read. Or if it crashes due to some website on a tab why reopen something that crashed in the place ? Can you fix this. Thanks.

After the last two updates, the **Pseudo-elements** tab in the Browser Console can no longer be closed once it has been opened, and vice versa.

Before facebook using reCAPTCHA I can easily logo in my Facebook and Instagram account, but now I always failed to pass the reCAPTCHA， I report this to Meta no good reply. Only today I did the reCAPTCHA and then got a reminder that facebook cannot detect the reCAPTCHA. I still cannot logo on to my facebook and instagram account due to reCAPTCHA. How can I solve this problem. Thx

I have been told to disable my ad-blocker by some commercial web sites and I understand that. But I am also not seeing charts and other non-ad items on web sites such as this one: https://www.medscape.com/viewarticle/alcohols-health-myth-over-how-tell-patients-2026a1000map?ecd=wnl_tp10_daily_260703_MSCPEDIT_etid8475291&uac=146695DK&impID=8475291. I don't want to change my default browser but this is a recent development that seems to be impairing my viewing of pertinent items placed on legitimate web sites. Until the most recent version(s) (at least through 148), if I have multiple windows open, the restore tab hotkey (control + shift + t) would open a closed tab in the previous window it had been closed in. Now, it opens the tab in whichever window I currently have focus on. It also used to remember the tab's previous location with regards to order among other tabs; now it opens it at the end of all tabs.

Example: I have two windows open, window A and window B. Window A has 5 tabs; window B has 10 tabs. I close tab 3 of Window B.

Old behavior: Pressing restore tab hotkey (control + shift + t) would cause the closed tab to always open in window B regardless of which window currently had focus, and would open it between tabs 2 and 4, as tab 3 again.

New behavior: Pressing restore tab hotkey (control + shift + t) will now cause the closed tab to open in whichever window has focus, A or B, and open as the last tab; for instance, if I am in window A, it will open as tab 6, if I am in window B, it will now open as tab 10, instead of tab 3.

Is there any way to restore the old behavior? At the very least, to get the windows to separate out the restore tab lists? I don't want tabs restoring to incorrect windows.

Starting today (7/8/26), Firefox opens with a "cannot connect" message, have tried multiple online suggestions including downloading and "reinstalling" but nothing works

For some reason firefox uninstalled on my computer, I genuinely do not know why. When reinstalling it, I have an old save from my backup of that morning (I have it setup that way). However, I do not remember this password whatsoever and I am freaking out a little bit since I have information on there and I am just trying to get it restored onto my account.

Any help would be appreciated.
