the certificate on my linksys lrt 214 router not recognized. used to be able with previous versions to bypass security with advanced tab no longer able to do this cannot use older versions of firefox to bypass. need to access web interface of router at 192.168.1.1 to upgrade certificate but cannot. linksys does not have a work around. please help

Can't event imagine how to debug this - FF has stopped working totally from the command line, despite options etc It is still working when run from the dock however. But I need to start it from the terminal for the second profile

Seems like when I tried logging in to my old account with a password reset, I somehow created a second account with the same email.

All my bookmarks and extension set ups seem to be gone.

Never had this issue, and have been using the same firefox account for like 5 years.

I want to re-order the add-ons / extensions in the toolbar shared with the search bar. Customize toolbar only has functions/icons related to the operation of Firefox. I want to customize the extensions toolbar, but how?

In the add-ons page, I can remove, disable, or enable extensions, but I cannot change the order of them.

As an example, there is an add-on for my Firefox account that is leftmost in the bar of extension icons. I would like to move it all the way to the right. Again, how would I do that?

I have been using Firefox for many years and I have never had problems, until now, out of nowhere Firefox closes and the little window opens that the report is being sent to Firefox, but I can no longer restart or open Firefox, until I reset the computer, This can happen one, two, three and even four times a day, making it very uncomfortable to reset the computer.

I have already tried many ways to solve the problem, from completely uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it, I use very few extensions, I already disabled WebGL and also disabled hardware acceleration, nothing has worked, when Firefox closes, I cannot open Firefox Developer either and That browser was not even open at the time of the failure with Firefox.

On my old iMac, Firefox remembered sites I had visited and filled them in, like if I typed A it would autofill Amazon. This is not happening on my new 2023 iMac and I can't figure out how to turn this on. Also, I could see my site visit history on my old iMac, but this field is blank, with no history of sites visited shown, on my new machine. Help is appreciated. I canNOT access outlook.com (using Mac Monterey) - it was working a couple days ago and now all I get is a blank screen. I can access it using Chrome so I'm thinking this is a Firefox browser issue. I'd REALLY like to continue using Firefox but need to access it on the same browser I've been using.

Using up to date Firefox on a Mac, London UK. Recently returned from travel in Japan. The bank cards auto-fill stopped working & Auto-fill does not appear in Privacy Settings (it is not there – no need to request a check please:)?

Spent 2 hours on Mozilla support/community etc. No answers – including 'make a new profile'...(& why - won' that affect history etc)?

Currently running MacOS Montery but the problem was still occurring on previous versions.

Whenever I use the green top left button to enter full-screen, the app immediately freezes and either crashes or has to be manually force quit. There are no reports in about:crashes and I there has been no success with troubleshooting mode or switching versions of the Firefox application.

Machine Info: MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) Processor: 2.6 GHz 6-Core Intel Core i7 Memory: 16 GB 2667 MHz DDR4 Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB

On certain websites I am getting scrambled text, mostly in headings and titles, not so much in body text. I have followed several tips from other posts like mine, i.e., installed Open Sans font, but that did not do it. I turned off hardware acceleration, and cleared the cache. The only thing that did work was to start Firefox in troubleshooting mode. I only have two add-ons running, Short URL and Dashlane, I doubt they're responsible for this. Any other ideas?

Before the release of Firefox 99, the drag and drop function of e-mail using OWA (Microsoft Outlook) stopped working. In the last version of 99, it started working again (and I was very happy). My browser just updated to 100 and it stopped working again (and, of course, Firefox recommends not downgrading).

This is getting very frustrating, as I use Firefox at work and it is actually a lot of time wasted, going in and attaching files without drag and drop. I am on the verge of abandoning Firefox as my browser, since these features work in both Safari and Chrome. However, I do like the usability and security of Firefox, so I am hoping you can fix this very soon.

My Firefox browser is crashing a lot after the recent updates. Not really sure what is causing the crashes but anytime I open any websites or try to do some work on the browser is resulting into unexpected crash. I have submitted several crash reports, but haven't had any solutions to the problem.

When I click on a "mailto" link, Firefox (my default browser) opens a new tab, then immediately close that tab without waiting for my to interact with it. No draft email is created. I see that other users have reported this behavior in the past, and I've tried the suggested remedies without success. Specifically, I ran Malwarebytes, and it found no threats. I then started Firefox (on the Mac) via the Option key (to start it without ad-ons), and that does not change the behavior. I'm on ver 99.0.1 of FF, which is up to date as of 4/20/2022 (today). My Mac OS is also up to date (ver 12.3.1). My Mac is a 2021 MacBookPro with the Apple M1 Pro chip. I use gmail. OTHER BROWSER (like Safari and Chrome) can open "mailto" links in a new tab in FF (which is my default browser, and used for mailto links) just fine! MacOS Monterey 12.3.1 FF 99.0.1 Have tried clearing Cache, Cookies, Troubleshoot mode.

Google Maps > Search > Share > Embed a Map, the map to be embedded is not displayed (likewise when embed is pasted into Wordpress page, for example)

While same procedure in Safari or Brave works as expected (map to be embedded is displayed in Google maps and embed code displays map in webpage using Brave or Safari).

From the Google Maps page > share > Embed a map > right click This Frame > Open in new tab And then looking in the Console. There are a few other ignored errors but then this...

On MacOS 14.0(Sonoma) Firefox 118.0.2 (64-bit), facing the problem with web.whatsapp.com chat messages. The timestamps for the messages are displayed in UTC and not as per the system time(IST, in my case).

- web telegram shows correct timestamps, opened in same browser session - web whatsapp on Chrome shows correct timestamps - fingerprinting is set to false(was not touched at all).

I use a theme which some years ago (after a change in the way Firefox handles dark-mode preferences) changed all UI and websites to use dark-mode. I was able to keep using the theme, and mostly override this behavior by setting:

`layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override = 1`

However, this didn't take for some components, such as the sidebar and bookmark editor window, which still continue to use dark-mode.

Is there any way to completely disable dark-mode everywhere, and still use my preferred theme?
