History drop down-Restore Previous Session MENU OPTION AND Recently Closed Windows MENU OPTION tab choice ARE DARK!!! Not active!!! Why? (If they are there to be seen they should always be active for use)

I use these ALL THE TIME!! Where is that function??? Why is MY history from yesterday NOT there for me?? I need it right now!

My life is busy and stressful enough without Firefox or Apple or Microsoft adding to it!!!

btw am waiting full 5+ min for a simple screenshot to "upload" to Firefox help below so I can hit send on this?? Still see the word "uploading" - are you finished yet Firefox?

I got a notification from Firefox to update the browser. Which is fine. But, when I tried to go to History to delete the downloads and previous months history. It will not allow me to delete the months history. It does nothing.

I hope you have a resolution for this issue. Thanks.

I have clear search history when browser is closed checked, and it still has a months worth of history and I have closed and reopened the browser countless times, why doesn't the history clear?

When I restarted my Windows 10 computer, the activity bar and all my history disappeared.

It was working perfectly this morning.

Any ideas?

This is the second computer in the last two weeks that has done this to me.

all of a sudden my firefox "home page" is being filled up with icon of web searches! I spend time having to delete each one. why did this start and how do I stop it? I'm going to go back to windows edge if this is the grief I'm going to get on mozilla/firefox

For years I have clicked on the clear history, clear data and manage data on the settings page in privacy and security--directly after leaving every website, just to be sure...now nothing is happening when I click on them. FF is up to date and nothing is different (that I know of).

When we are getting dates and time in history like Chrome? Random months and in those months, no days, no dates makes Firefox outdated.

Is Firefox not growing or everything needs to be highlighted? I have never highlighted anything to chrome yet it has done things that are worth it.

Years ago i had an issue with this useless browser. I had the setting to start where i was left of, so the taps should reopen as they were but every time it was starting from the beginning also with different windows than what i choose from settings. i have deleted the browser and now i have downloaded it again but i face the same issue. You cannot talk with a real agent so this is the worst browser ever. I am only try to use it because i have to, otherwise i would NEVER EVER use it again after all this issues. As i cannot get help from Firefox as they don't even have support team... Can anyone please help me with that. Thank you

Last week I went through the process of choosing a profile so I would not be faced with choosing whenever firefox opened. ( I was guided through the process by some of you elders.) My bookmarks are all in place but that history no longer accumulates, not even during the session I am in. I must have hit something without knowing it. I have gone up and down settings on several levels, but I can't figure out what will make this work again. It is helpful to have this reference so I would appreciate help. I use the Menu Bar and discovered that when I select History and then right click one of the entries it no longer shows the small window which allows you to Open in a New Tab etc.

If I use the 3 bar option on the right hand side to Open application menu, then select History, then right click an entry, the small window I mentioned above opens as it used to when using the Menu Bar.

I have attached screenshots showing the issue when using the Menu Bar and also when I use the application menu on the right.

I have been using the Menu Bar option for years now so I can only assume that this issue has arisen after a previous update.

I am currently running Firefox 140.0.4 and this issue is there even when I disabled all themes & extensions and when I ran Troubleshoot Mode!

Hopefully a simple fix will resolve this.
