Shortcut icons (4 rows of them) have disappeared from my Firefox home tab. After a Firefox update, they were gone. Just white boxes. I tried to re-enter shortcut infor… (funda kabanzi)

Shortcut icons (4 rows of them) have disappeared from my Firefox home tab. After a Firefox update, they were gone. Just white boxes. I tried to re-enter shortcut information, but the box always goes back to white and empty. I tried a System Restore. That didn't work either. I depend on these shortcuts for my work and bill paying. Please, someone help me! Thanks!

also in davinci resolve a video editor, i wasn't able to drag media from a section onto the timeline

if i restarted my laptop, the issue disappeared for around 30 minutes and came back

i switched to windows 11 and the issue went away for a few days but came back. i dont know how to resolve it permanently
