Firefox 114.0, Windows 11 Home Version 10.0.22621 Build 22621 , 1Password-4.6.2.626 extension

Today, for reasons unknown, my 1Password extension, (an old and non-updatable version that I've used for many, many years), is non-responsive. The icon still resides in the Tool Bar, Windows ToolTips "sees" it as "1Password", but clicking on the icon has no effect. The extension is shown as Enabled in Firefox's Manage Your Extensions page.

I think I've tried all the "usual" things here: rebooted the computer, uninstalled and re-installed the extension and rebooting, checked the setting in 1Password itself to see that it's associated with "Mozilla Firefox 114.0", (the program still opens fine outside the browser).

This seems to be related to Firefox 114.0. On my other computer with the same Windows 11 version but using Firefox 113.0.1 had no problem with 1Password, but as soon as Firefox updated to 114.0 the same problem with 1Password appeared.

Anything that I might be able to do to get 1Password working?

In summary, I've added a css code to my userChrome.css thingy to move the tabs below the search bar. I was also wondering what the best way to transfer my userChrome.css file + about:config settings over to a new version of Firefox. Due to not being admin of my laptop (I'm running it out of the .dmg file— besides, I always like to keep an older version of Firefox as a fallback), I have to install a whole new version of Firefox onto my laptop to update.

All my search results now use google, thanks to the FORCED installation of the search engine google. Even after I have deleted it and deleted it and deleted it and deleted it and deleted it, ALL SEARCH RESULTS ARE NOW FROM GOOGLE, whether I like it or not. Mozilla has FORCED A COMPLETELY BROKEN SEARCH ENGINE ON MY PC(google), and now i can't rid of it, AND THEY ABSOLUTELY REFUSE TO HELP ANYONE.

recently got new hard disk installed , and using moyilla as browser ...previously i could shut down and get back to tabs and sites i was using on restart .... now i dont have that view and just get a long list on recently used tabs in toolbar,mozilla icon. How can i get those closed webpages, sites, back on screen all at once ? the history optionin side menu doesnt show any way to do this either...( i think it used to ) thanks calgar.

Since one of the last updates firefox Download Setting seems not work properly...

Into Settings > Files and Applications > Downlods > Save files to option is ALWAYS on, even when "Aways ask you where to save files" option box is checked. When I open a PDF in view mode with Firefox, it automatically download it to the location described into "Save Files to"..in my case Desktop. It seems that the "Save Files to" option doesn't gray out when "Always ask..." option box is checked.

Do you have any idea why I can't chose just one of the two options?

I opened up my browser and all my active tabs which I have had for months are gone. I tried to go to recently closed tabs in history and it doesn't allow me to open. All are not available. Help!!

Why does firefox constantly ask for capchas on VPN when doing searches on Google? It is a serious problem. The vpn is for my security, not google.com

I'm running Mac OS 12.6.6 and Firefox 114.0.1. When I try to log into my Google account, I get the message, "This browser or app may not be secure." I'm running the current version. Javascript is enabled. I've cleared my caches and data. I can log in to Google on other browsers, such as Safari. • This happened after I set up my browser to use Bing Chat, which required that I clear my cache and data.

What Search popup taskbar in Firefox? Like Clrt+F “find in page” is appear!. It’s a virus spam. Or what is it problem Bug?

When I print the keyboard to find in a box or typing wrong, then search popup taskbar in Firefox is appear! Why? it's like click the menu bar F10 button "edit" followed by "find in page".? What is it? According to the sample image. Sometimes there is a lot of code for writing a website! It is a virus spam. Or what is it?

There was a user asking this problem. Which is like my problem as follows

“Whenever using Firefox, I keep getting a pop-up box on the left side of the bottom of the browser which seems to search the webpage for whatever is in the box. This happens if the cursor is not exactly in a specific search box or designated area on the screen. I can reproduce the problem by clicking on the page (just the page, not a box or input area) then typing. It may be a function but has become so overwhelmingly annoying that I find it necessary to find a way to deactivate it. If I click something else like another window and don't click the mouse exactly on a specific search box or input area when I go back to the page, it inputs the text I am typing down in this box. I don't like this; I don't want this. Please help me rid the browser of this menace. I put an image of the problem below and circled the offensive box. Thanks for any help given. I did try to search for this issue to see if there was already a solution but could not find one, hence posting this question. I just found out this is the same box that pops up when you click the menu bar button "edit" followed by "find in page". Hi, The DM has an annoying popup that only appears on the sports page ( which is basically the only page I actually read, the rest of the comic I just skim ). I've searched the web for a solution but to no avail, hence my asking here. I have the popup blocker ticked, but this annoyance just keeps on.

How can this be allowed to happen? This goes against everything private browsing is supposed to be.

I open a private window' log in to gmail, reddit, amazon, any site, etc; i close private browsing window entirely - removed from taskbar; i reopen private browsing and all my sessions are still signed in.

The fact that this is happening is negligent to the point of criminality. WHAT is the solution and why is this being allowed to occur?

I have tried updating Firefox a number of times to 115.0.3 and each time I have had to roll my PC back to a pre-update state because I get a warning from MS Defender that I have a Trojan. What do I do in order to update the program without this very disconcerting warning?

DIRECTLY after 114.0.1 update, I get a CONSTANT UNENDING PROMPT telling me all about firefox , ON EACH AND EVERY SEARCH, I am here to find out how to remove this intentionally annoying, "thing" from MY PC(of course Mozilla couldn't be bothered to tell us they were installing a continuous advertisement for google, and FORCE installing it as search engine). I want this endless advertisement removed, post haste.

I created an account today and let Firefox generate a password, clicked save and everything seemed normal. but when i went to login on another devise and pulled up the password i find is my SSN.

I am baffled how this happened. Why is it not designed it automatically save the created password when creating the password? Why and How did it find and save my SSN? I don't understand how the computer messed that up, I created and saved the password then I gave my information including my SSN to finish creating my account. Then the last step to create the account was to download the app and login on my phone. So I go to my Logins and passwords and find the password it saved was my SSN not the random password it created the account with.

I don't know what to do, probably have to start over if it cannot be recovered. But I want to complain about about Firefox picking out my SSN. Failing to save the password is one thing, But replacing it with my SSN is wrong. And i do not think I made a mistake here when all I did was click two buttons, create password and save password. they popped up one after the other I clicked them both in seconds from one another. My SSN was not on the page at the time, I created and saved the password and gave my SSN in different steps one before the other. I cannot rationalize how this happened.

Yahoo websites blocked from within the US. I get the following message: "When trying to access my yahoo mail account from within the US I get the following message: Yahoo’s suite of services will no longer be accessible from mainland China." Any thoughts on what is happening and how to correct it? I'm in the US using the Mozilla VPN with a US server location
