I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I don't understand what happened in the last 10 minutes where both my pc and my laptop can no longer open youtube videos in a new tab by right-clicking. I haven't made any changes, I haven't downloaded anything or installed anything new. The last firefox update for both machines happened yesterday between 1 and 2 in the afternoon. 18 hours after an update, I just lose a basic feature? I'm able to right-click and open youtube vids in edge. So it has to be a firefox thing... Any ideas or suggestions?

I see this issue posted in other questions but none of the solutions given works. For one, the click on items you talk about don't exist, like the "Firefox Options and/or Preference" is no where to be found, top left click on Firefox Icon or top right bars. The right click button does not work in your browser at all. I don't have this issue on my work computer or my work laptop and they are running the same version, 1140.1. I am use to: Right clicking Firefox icon in tool bar and a menu coming up that allows for several choices. Right clicking in the top bar with page tabs and being able to put the bookmark menu bar up permanently (the main reason I use Firefox, ease of accessing bookmarks which Chrome and IE make ridiculously difficult}. How do I get functionality of my right click back?

First of all, let me just say that I love Firefox and refuse to use any other browsers

In my profession, I need to use Adobe products - somehow, the new Adobe Express (beta) will not run on Firefox browser, it run with no problems on Microsoft Edge and Chrome.

Do you have any idea what might have cause this issue? I understand that Adobe Express (beta) will go live soon, and it will be terrible that I couldn't continue on Firefox browser, I wonder if you can have Firefox developers take a look and maybe figure out with Adobe?

Why is it Firefox can't control META timelines. Both Facebook and Instagram jump down several posts while scrolling.... I was going to blame it on META till I found this doesn't occur with Chrome or Edge. Firefox is my preferred browser due to the many addon's available.

I recently added the Firefox browser, and have it fully up-to-date, and tried adding a few extensions/add-ons. But nowhere are the icons for those extensions/add-ons showing up anywhere in the browser. Not even in the customize toolbars region. I can see that I've added those extensions/add-ons, but their associated icons are nowhere to be found.

How do I go about fixing/correcting this issue?

Firefox 64-bit 114.0.1 on Windows 11 with latest updates. When using Firefox, articles on The Guardian website are displaying with text overlaying images on the web page. The same problem does not happen if I view the same web page using the MS Edge browser on the same PC. This problem happens with every article I have viewed on The Guardian website, but I have not seen it on any web page on any other website. Suddenly I'm having issues clicking on links in emails that I get from known sources. Some say the website is blocked ("This website is blocked due to your current protection level. Please contact your network administrator to gain access."), others warn me about invalid certificates (and I ignore and proceed to, as I know the websites), but those pages never load. I've tried everything in another browser, and they function flawlessly, so it's not my Watchguard firewall nor Windows settings. I have the same issue sporadically clicking on email links in Outlook, so it's not only on links clicked IN Firefox (browser-based email). I've completely disabled all the Enhanced Tracking Protection, but still, nothing. I booted up another notebook, and it's exhibiting the exact same behavior (and that notebook doesn't have Norton on it to be an issue, (though I already have it completely disabled on the computer in question).

The tracking redirects that are causing me the post trouble are "http://trk.klclick1.com/ls/click?upn=..." and "https://t.e2ma.net/click/..."

As I mentioned, these are in emails from sources I get regularly. One is a website that sells their own products, and the latter is for a content-oriented site. The one that gave me problems from Outlook was news content, and (curiously enough), clicking on the image yielded the blocked site page, but clicking on the news heading beneath it got me through to the article in question, so I just figured it was an HTML email coding issue.

I have been unable to login/sign in to my job website. It is not a network connection issue, nor that the website is temporary unavailable.

I keep getting this message:

'If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web'

I had a financial transaction on an business account that I did not enter. The tech services people told me it came from from my PC. They are a big company as opposed to a small 'mom + pop' operation. They suggested I take PC in to a Big Box store to get PC scanned and remove any virus/malware found. Contacting the big-box store they said they could scan my PC remotely to look for virus/malware.

So, my question is: Should I take pc to local computer experts/big box store or purchase virus software to use myself?

I do have several free virus protection programs on my windows PC.

When I click a mailto link it brings up the GMail app. Instead I want the Yahoo Compose window. Several posts suggest various arcane methods. Either they do not apply or they require hacking. Has the situation improved?

How can I make mailto links go to the Compose window on mail.yahoo.com?

When I browse youtube I normally open videos in a new tab by right clicking on the thumbnail and selecting open in new tab - Menu is displayed with options specific to the LINK i just right-clicked on. i.e. "open link in new tab" , "open in new window" , "bookmark link", etc.

Now, when I right click on a youtube video thumbnail, a different menu appears, with options relating to the PAGE (itself)- i.e. "save page as..." , "save page to pocket", arrows to go to previous/next page, etc.

I tried to troubleshoot in safe mode but it's the same problem. This is on both my PC and Mac. What could the problem be? Appreciate your help!
