hey, i couldn't find any option for it, so i'm asking here. i switched from chrome to firefox but i noticed that once you reach a certain amount of tabs, you need to start scrolling through your tabs. how do i make it so, that all tabs are visible at once and theres no need for scrolling ? thank you

I have my settings set to "absolute" Strict. this option greys out to add exceptions. But it blocks sometimes safe sites as well.

How can I run strict, and still be able to add certain websites, thus overcome the greyed out Add Exception Button?

Not sure what topic this falls under but...Sometime in the last couple weeks, Firefox doesn't want to connect to Facebook or You Tube. Just these 2 sites. All the other bookmarks and quick links on my home page work fine. If I clear my data and cookies and re-start FF it sometimes connects, sometimes doesn't, and sometimes opens FB in what looks like a safe mode screen (https?). Vexing me as to what the issue is. Updated FF, Windows, re-installed FF, refreshed it, and finally came here looking for a way to restore the default settings for FF. Since FB and YT are Alphabet companies, have they done something that's messing with FF?

It seems like almost every time I do a Windows Update on and sometimes when I just restart my Lenovo IdeaPad 3 my language gets changed from American English to French. Even some of the add-ons change preferences. Since I don't speak or read French it can be a real hassle to get everything changed back. What I usually end up doing is going to the page on the Mozilla site that has different downloads for different languages and I download the correct one. Once I install it over the existing installation things go back as they should be until I do another Windows Update or like I said before, sometimes after just a restart. This just happened again a few hours ago when I did a Windows Update. All the menu items and drop downs were suddenly in French. My Forecast Fox changed to Celsius instead of Fahrenheit. My Notifier for GMail changed to French. A couple log in pages for some web pages were in French. This never happened with other laptops I have had that were different brands. I once tried just uninstalling Firefox and then reinstalling the correct language version and things were fine until the next time I did an update. My preferences are set to how I want them and I just don't understand why it keeps getting changed.

I have installed firefox on a linux laptop-cant sync to desktop. Complication is that my primary email address will disappear tomorrow (Feb 16). I tried using a secondary gmail account but it just says that email address exists. I created a recovery key .txt but I cannot see how to use that on the linux laptop. SO: How do I now sync my linux laptop to get my tabs on my FF. Thanks

Hello, i am using ducducgo as search engine on my firefox. i have noticed that it does not support since yesterday. site from saved shortcuts only supports, other than anything i am trying to surf it shows error connection was not secure / reset. where same site are opening with google and bing search engine in firefox and same problem were facing in mobile browser also. Please fix the issue as soon as possible. Thanks.

Password manager offers no log-in field.

In the pop-up warning bar I see an instruction to and a button that says "log in", but clicking it takes me back to the same place. I never see a fillable field.

the screen would go black when I tried to enter Full screen in Theater mode on YouTube. The problem didn't exist when I went Full screen in Default view. I've attached screenshots. I need to run a page that uses Adobe Flash and for that I need to use Firefox version 78. I downloaded it from https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/78.9.0esr/mac/en-US/ but when I run the installation, it automatically updates to the latest version. What do I need to do?

When I open Firefox to my home page I get a bunch of tabs in the address bar which more or less duplicate my bookmarks. I don't want to see these anymore. I tried to go to: Settings / Privacy + Security / Address Bar / Uncheck Bookmarks. But I can't find any button to Accept Changes. If I simply close the this page, next time I open Firefox the tabs are back. Please help.

Why am I locked out. I play every day and today I can't get through and Google said it might be a Cookies issue. Need help please. Not very savy re. Cookies. I am a Senior.

When going thru my bookmarks why does it jump to top of list when I go back to list. Very inconvenient when searching thru my bookmarks. Started with last update 110.

Recently, my Firefox browser started stumbling when using Google Sheets. The top of my screen shows "Trying to Connect" or "Reconnecting" wether Im on wifi or hardlined. Chrome does not do this.

Somewhat recently I have been unable to use my scroll wheel to scroll pages up and down.

I can scroll up and down in every application on my computer except Firefox.

Things I've already tried: I've tried turning hardware accel. on and off I've tried turning off auto scroll and scroll lock. I've tried using other mice. I've tried using a different Firefox profile. I've tried restarting my computer.

I have been AVOIDING doing any changes that erase my cache or restart Firefox in anyway since I REALLY don't want to lose any of my password and history data. If it's the only way, then I'll deal with it when I deal with it.

What makes this problem weirder is that I can middle-mouse click and scroll the page up and down with that, but I cannot scroll the page manually with the wheel at all.

What could possibly be the issue? Someone please help! It's not like it's making me terribly angry, but it's very, very inconvenient and no normal fixes seem to be fixing this super simple issue.
