I realise that Firefox uses up a lot of Memory (particularly as it tries to run each Tab separately). However, my Firefox seems to keep increasing its usage!

I can start with a number of Tabs open & (after refreshing each Tab - to ensure it is "lice" & "active") I will get (according to Windows Task Manager) about 1,300MB in use.

Without opening up any more Tabs & without trying to run any Web-Based Videos, over a period of a few hours it will increase & increase & increase - perhaps getting up to 4,000MB!

I've cross checked with "about:performance" (to open FF's own Task Manager), to show the individual Tab usage, & that NEVER totals up to anywhere near the figures shown by the Windows Task Manager!!

Obviously, my FF is fully up to date!

Any comments!

I am continuing to have issues going to this web site. www.goldtonemusicgroup.com/goldtone. Works great on chrome but firefox fails miserably. The page needs to be downsized and when you click on a link it may open it but it may be behind it but I am never able to get to it. I think possibly the last update something must have messed up. I used to be able to load it but not anymore. I have to use another browser to work with this web site. Other web sites seem to be ok. Thanks for any info.

My website ozpt.com does not load on FireFox. It works on CHROME, SAFARI, ANDROID, EDGE etc. But when i try to open in FireFox I get the spinning wheel and it won't load. Sometimes if i refresh, it will load the one page, then when i click on anther link, it won't load that new page, and back to spinning wheel.

I don't understand why I'm working on all other browsers, but not on FF?

So I've been experiencing a rather annoying bug/issue, and I have a work around for it, but I would love if anyone could help me figure out the issue at hand. I couldn't find a relevant, up to date solution for this issue.

Basically, certain websites (the most notable being Reddit) will eventually no longer load. In fact, it won't even try to load. I will click a link from a Google search, or even just type in the URL for Reddit directly, and Firefox just does nothing. No error, no loading, nothing. The tab will stay blank with the URL listed as the name of the tab. I can't seem to tell if other browsers have this issue as it requires a bit of use/time to pass, but it doesn't seem to be an issue in Explorer. It isn't JUST Reddit, but it's only a couple of sites that this occurs on.

I do have a workaround --- if I tell Firefox to "Forget This Website" - suddenly it will work again. I will be logged out and see the default page due to having deleted all saved dated - but the site will work (for maybe a day) before I have to forget it again.

If this was a once a month type issue it wouldn't be a big deal, but the fact that I have to constantly re-do my local settings because of this is frustrating.

I am running Windows 10 and my Firefox version is 85.0 (64-bit). I have tried disabling any add-ons such as my AdBlocker, however that does not fix the issue.

Since somewhere last autumn, when I download any file from any website, the browser vanishes without any warning on the moment I navigate to the destination folder.

I maintain 2 websites (Joomla), and last week both required uploading a few files in Phoca Download to make them available to members. Now also on this upload the browser was completely gone when I navigated to the folder where I kept the fles.

I use Firefox since about 1995. I looked in about:Crash (first time ever), there were to reports, both unsubmitted: 69990c58-1a5c-40a3-9141-666607416103 6/22/2020, 1:23 AM e6f0688e-73e4-4c19-8e0a-01ec3c28e996 2/22/2019, 4:09 PM I have submitted them both now.

My Firefox browser seems to have reset itself to Windows 8 compatibility. I have Windows 10, 64-bit. Firefox will not open full screen, but opens a tiny, narrow window at the bottom of the screen which I have to use task manager to close. I remember one of the automatic updates coming through a few days ago.

Can I do anything other than uninstalling and a new install? I'd like to keep my favorites list, etc. I am at the extent of my computer skills with this.

When you are presented with a text field, sometimes when you type, a small list of words you entered previously will drop down. You can then select one of those previous words, or continue with what you were originally typing. This is the Autofill feature for Firefox.

Lately, it has been a pain. After an hour or so of use, the instant I click on a text field to type something (usually for searching), the autofill box would partially drop down, only for Firefox to completely hang up. Once you recover from the initial crash, the autofill bug would not appear until at least an hour later. I tried turning off Autofill, but it cost me access to my History, so I was forced to do a complete browser reset. This issue has been with me for about a couple of weeks, and I have no idea why it's doing this.

Hello, Firefox takes more than 30 seconds to load. Thunderbird is also slow. I've had this problem before at the end of last year. After a while it got better. But now I have to wait again. I scanned windows with various anti-virus and anti-malware programs. I have absolutely nothing. I only use Microsoft anti-virus. I have run many repair options on the net. I have also uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. This long wait to load before I can use the software is really irritating. I am constantly frustrated by unresponsive pages / script warnings etc using Firefox. This never used to happen on previous builds -- I am using the latest 86.0 -- but these occur so often that I am about to say goodbye to Firefox. This does not happen when I am using Chrome and other browsers.

I have been through all of the suggested steps to deal with these unresponsive script/page issues, and none has worked.

Would appreciate any help on this, but as I say I am about to leave Firefox at this point for Chrome and other browsers.

White banner complety covers my menu bar and the only way to fix it is to reboot

A white bar completely covers the top of the browser. It is if the menu bar has disappeared. If I try and click where the menu bar should be I click right through the win… (funda kabanzi)

A white bar completely covers the top of the browser. It is if the menu bar has disappeared. If I try and click where the menu bar should be I click right through the window to the other open applications below.

This has happened a few times and the only way to remedy it is to reboot the machine.

I am running firefox on windows 10 Version 84.0.2 (64-bit) (latest available)

After an Update I get white screens only

I did an Update to Firefox 86 and the Webbrowser crashed. Since then I'm not able to open any page. I reinstalled several times including deleting all folders and all rec… (funda kabanzi)

I did an Update to Firefox 86 and the Webbrowser crashed. Since then I'm not able to open any page. I reinstalled several times including deleting all folders and all records in Regestry I found. All what I can find is the following: Starter Process is deactivated after error. All details out of Error Report see in Troubleshooting Information
