The directions show a picture that shows the Done button having a split section with a drop down menu. I don't have that. It does go to a pop up with options, but when I try to hit print, it asks me to sign in. What am I signing in to? I think I am already signed in to firefox, so why doesn't it know that. But it's suggesting gmail, and others, and saying it's for a free trial. I thought ff was providing this through their browser, why is it talking about a free trial? What is it a free trial of? Why am I going to google?

I had several windows open in Firefox. These have disappeared but I'm not sure exactly when it happened.

'Restore the previous session' does not help as it only restores a single window. I need to go back in history (I have backups so can refer to older files if needed). I have checked 'session-store.backups' and have several .jsonlz4 files, ranging from early October to late October. The older versions are much larger.

Do these files contain my older session data? If yes, how do I load them to get the relevant session windows? I am not worried about losing any data since that time.

Thanks

Firefox displayed a pop-up box on 10/30/22 or 10/31/22 that I accidentally agreed to. The appearance of all my tabs and screens changed. I'm not interested in any other themes. Community support said to install "System" theme to get the default back, but it's not completely the same. For example, checkboxes on forms display as white checkmarks which are hard to see. In my email, the messages and replies display oddly and are hard to read as the contrast is poor. HOW DO I GET ALL MY DEFAULT BACK?

font corruption? the font called Calibri is showing up as italic in all websites that use calibri. but i dont have calibri installed on my computer. how do i fix this? in the past, my friend had a similar issue with fonts looking all weird in code on websites and i told her it was font corruption and had to remove a font on the system level which rectified the issue. but in my case, i dont have calibri installed on my computer. so when i go to the outlook website, all the emails are coming in as calibri italic out of nowhere, when i didnt change any font settings. if i go into google docs, and paste some notes and change all the notes to the font called calibri, it shows it as italic. but i dont have italic selected in google docs. how do i fix this in firefox???

For the recent past, the font size on FF tabs, url, bookmark bar, tabs and anything else to do with the actual FF program has a font so small that it is unreadable unless I use the W10 magnifier. I have spent hours, days and weeks trying everything I can find to increase the font size and nothing has worked. I am vision impaired and understand that everything cannot be adjusted to my needs BUT there are hundreds of postings on line by people with good vision complaining about the non adjustable font sizes. Does FF have any intentions on finding a fix for this? I am an avid user of FF but am at a point with my vision to where it is too problematic for me to continue using. If you cannot fix this issue then I must find a program that does not have this problem. It may very well be a conflict between FF and W10 but even that were the case, there are supposed to be a lot of intellingent individuals that should be able to remedy this situation. Please advise of your intentions as soon as possible in order that I may proceed with my plans. Sincerely, Ron Burnes

Here is how to completely remove the latest, unasked for forced on us utter crap in this pathetic Firefox-view.

In a new tab click about:config

Accept the risks

In the serch bar type firefox-view

Double click where itsays firefox-view true to change it to false

Close

There you go the lataest crap from Firefox is now completely removed from your browser.

Here utter clowns at Firefox if I want to jnow what tabs I have just closed I will just click on "history"!

Everytime you add a new feature to Firefox I have removed it. Pockets removed. Full page capture removed (I will stick to useing snipping tool) now this removed.

Why can't you just leave things well enough alone. You have the best browser going but you seem hell bent on utterly destroying it. It is no wonder more people use Chrome it is so they do not have to put up with the crap you force on us.

Just recently Firefox started to display a "Loading..." message in the middle of every page I go to in Breitbart.com (doesn't happen in any other website).

It appears about 2 seconds AFTER the page loads or press F5. The background goes dark suggesting it's modal. It lasts for about 1 second and then goes away and everything appears normal.

I've been told this is a Cloudflare anti-DDoS CDN protocol issue, but I'm not so sure of that.

I've started up in Clean Mode and get the same behavior.

TIA

I received this e-mail today: " Thank you for your first contribution to the Mozilla support forums! You just made somebody's day!

Mozilla support is fully powered by our volunteer community that is helping hundreds of users everyday. This community is formed by passionate Firefox and Thunderbird users who take some of their spare time to help others. We couldn't do it without your passion and enthusiasm. Your contribution, as minor as it might seem, has tremendous value. Solving one issue in the support forums can help up to 1000 users a day! '

I did NOT contribute! How do I report this? I did send it to abuse@Mozilla.com and spoof@Mozilla.com. I don't know it that works. Thanks.

Often when I start up Firefox, this webpage opens up with it as well:

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/welcome/14/

There are other variations of this page-- apparently this is number 14.

I am not interested in buying Mozilla's subpar VPN and do not want to keep getting advertisements about it. Is there any way to disable this?

Thanks.

I would like to open my history page and select an entry and open in it a new tab and the history page to remain open.

It is annoying that the history page closes automatically after the user opens a selected entry. Because I often view history trying to find a previous tab and typically don't find it first go, but then have to reopen history :(

Is it possible to change that behaviour?

I use Firefox for my work and that involves working with a lot of images online. For some reason, this option has been completely removed from Firefox for me.

Now when I right-click on an image, there is no longer any option to copy the image, copy the image's location or save the image.

Like I said, I use this browser for work and if I can't interact with images I'll have to start using some other browser.

Thanks in advance.

EX: I go to https://www.w3schools.com/tags/tryit.asp?filename=tryhtml5_input_type_file and try and use any of the file inputs there - they just do nothing.

Same with the file inputs on this support form page. None of them work for me.

Is it possible to request a feature for Firefox called "Link to Highlight"?

Chromium based browsers have a feature where you can make a selection of text on a webpage and in the right click context menu select: "Copy link to highlight", which copies a link to the webpage, with an appended selection like so: "#:~:text=Steps%20to%20reproduce%20the%20issue%3A". Then when the link is clicked, the Chromium based browser would scroll down to the match of the text, flash a colour to show where it is, and tint the text with a subtle highlight. The text in this example would then be "Steps to reproduce the issue.". This helps in my workflow when using a browser, so this feature would make me super happy.
