I have installed an animated theme for my home page a while back, but recently if I minimize firefox the memory usage increases until it freezes my pc completely. I know this issue has been reported as Bug 1828587 2 years ago and it is said that it is fixed, but here I am experiencing the same thing. I would appreciate any help since I am not that good at coding a css file. Here is my userContent.css code if maybe i set something up wrong:

The second part is to make some of the text on my homepage white so it is visible.

I am trying to find a way to restore the previous tabs that I had open. All the standard restore procedures out of the History button or elsewhere are not working due to the account change. Here's the background and scenario: Original account created 1 month ago on old Linux PC New PC purchased and Ubuntu Linux 24.04 installed Firefox installed and configured, bookmarks imported from .html file. No sync account was ever signed in to. Open a crapload of tabs that I wanted/needed to interact with (yes, I need a better task management system) Finally decide to log into sync account, successful sign-in Close browser for PC restart. Upon restart, all configurations from 1 month ago on old Linux PC are present, and no previously-opened tabs come back. Restore session/restore tabs/restore browser all are greyed out, no data to access in history anywhere. Signed out of account, closed browser window and restarted. Still displaying config from old sync account even when not logged in (different theme, toolbar settings)

I am unable to locate any files in the pathway Home/snap/firefox/common/.mozilla/firefox that clearly indicate multiple profiles; there is only one distinct profile folder present. I haven't cleared cache or anything, trying to not touch it more. Is it possible to restore or even see the URLs of those tabs from my session prior to logging in to my sync profile?

This has worked for me for years. It just began a few days ago when I tried to login and look at my new auto insurance policy. I've cleared the cache/cookies to no avail. I can access the web site with Edge (yuk)

I have two e mails, but when i try to go to my secondary email [email 1 removed]@gmail.com i always get my primary one, [email 2 removed]@gmail.com. why?

I’m running into a limitation with Firefox profiles involving the original Profile Manager (about:profiles) and the new Profiles menu in the toolbar.

I previously created multiple profiles using the original Profile Manager (about:profiles), for example profiles A, B, and C. These profiles still function normally and can be launched through about:profiles, but they do not appear in the new Profiles menu in the toolbar.

I also tried using the “Copy this profile” option available from the new Profiles menu. This made it clear that the feature does not work with profiles created via about:profiles. For example, when I open profile A, I expected that I could use “Copy this profile” to copy profile A into an existing profile like profile B (which was also created using about:profiles). However, this is not possible. Profiles A, B, and C remain isolated from the new Profiles menu and cannot be accessed, copied, or managed through it.

At the moment, profiles created with the original Profile Manager (about:profiles) can only be accessed through that manager and cannot be transferred into the new Profiles menu in the toolbar.

Is there an official fix or a workaround that achieves the same result—specifically, transferring or integrating all existing profiles created with the original Profile Manager (about:profiles) into the new Profiles menu accessible from the Firefox toolbar?

I went through my laptop and turned off enhanced tracking protection for a variety of financial, work, etc. websites.

I was disappointed that this did not sync with my other computers.

Here's hoping Firefox developers will incorporate ETP exceptions into account sync.

I am do not get sound using audio recorded with akamai player with Fire Fox browser. I tried the same link using Edge browser and the audio works.

I have tried clearing the cache, but still no sound.

How do I resolve this issue using Fire Fox as my default browser? Is there an audio extension that is needed?

Not sure if this is the correct topic, but I have been using Firefox for over 20 years, and after the last update, there is an icon missing from my Firefox browser page. It's the "file" icon in the very upper left corner of the window that allows "new tab", "new window", etc. I'm still using windows10, on an ASUS PC, but never had the problem until just recently. I've restarted the computer, reloaded the window, nothing works to restore that icon/function. Thanks - Mike B

I've been using Firefox on Linux since it was Nautilus. Currently running EasyOS Linux Daedalus and Excalibur on different Lenovo ThinkCentre Tiny Core i3-8100t boxes and different drives: A good Samsung SSD and two good flashdrives. 32G new RAM installed on each box. I've been using these boxes for over a year. For the last month or so, ever since updating to v. 146 my tabs have been crashing like crazy! I don't normally have more than 10 tabs open at once. But now, as soon as I open a 5th tab it crashes.

I'm running Top to watch CPU and RAM usage. I see nothing unusual. I've rebooted. Disabled all add-ons and run in Troubleshoot mode. Tabs still crash. My only add-ons are uBlock Origin, Temporary Containers and Dark Mode. It happens whether I have hardware acceleration turned on or off. I don't know what else to try. I just installed a new version of Linux Mint (Zara) and all is right with Firefox, except the screenshot who doesn't work. The buttons "Capture the visible area" and "Capture the entire page" don't work. The additional tool in the toolbar doesn't work. What can i do, please? Thanks for your answer. Pierre

Please return my Computer to using Firefox default as my browser as it was 2/01 /2026.Ive tried several times to do this w/o success . I was using windows 11 and have been trying to get rid of MS365 which I never used but have been charged for a solution , but have been blocked and refused cancellation after they asked me to change my email address and PW . Insanely confusing !

Hello, Until a couple of days ago we have been connecting regularly to the samaritanspurse.org website but now the connection times out. All other websites connect with no problem. What can we do to correct this situation. Thank you
