I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I don't mean "saving" login information for later use, that I do not want to do. What I mean by the login not being retained is that when I log-in to a website like say Amazon, while I'm browsing, I end up having to re-enter my login information pretty much every other time that I switch between pages. I've never had an issue like that with any other browser. Is there some setting I need to adjust to stop that from happening? As I said, I'm not looking to save my passwords and usernames within the browser, I just want to effectively browse a website after logging into it without needing to login every time I move between pages. I've noticed for some time now that when I access the history tab and see what there, there is nothing in it. In the past when I accessed it, it would show the sites I had visited. Not any longer. How do I fix the problem?

Firefox just updated to v100.

However, my menus (e.g., bookmarks, tools, history etc) and popups text has become black, having previously been white. The Menu Bar and Tabs text are still white.

How do I get the White text back on menus and popups please?

In the past, there was a helpful link to the right of the address bar that enabled me to email a link to the current open page to my friends. That link is missing in the latest version of Firefox for Windows. How do I restore it?

Subtitles in picture-in-picture are doubled. I've tried clearing the cache and restarting the browser but the problem persists. Site in question is Netflix (first image). Does not happen on YouTube (second image).

Hey, I can't add new filetypes to the handlers.json Who had this before? I have already reset Firefox, deleted handlers.json, used safe mode... all without success For example, when I click on a ZIP file, the "save as" menu opens immediately. In the FF settings this filetype does not appear. So I can't define how to handle new files. I have also tried the addon "Content-Type Fixer Content-Type Fixer".

Since about 2 weeks ago many AOL attachments are not opening (pdf.s are but others eg Word not). I have read thru' previous messages on this (in 2021) but turning off enhanced tracking has not fixed it. My attachments open in Edge and Chrome. Like others I would like to stay with Firefox but cannot live with this problem. Help please

Downloaded the latest version of FireFox, and have somehow lost the toolbar for my bookmarks. Have tried suggested things mentioned that i can find to no success. How do i get this much neede item back, HELP please?

It seems since Firefox 100 the address bar has taken to being white-on-white, making it nearly impossible to read. There isn't any issues with light themes. It doesn't matter if I change the Windows 10 default app mode to light or dark. Light themes have black text on white background, but dark themes have white text on white background. Any ideas?

The included pic shows the red screen that comes up when I hold shift down when the mail composer is up, this is one of several like errors like a hover over text one and auto save one which crash the page nearly and require reloading of the page, another error is that the close, minimize and maximize buttons are missing when protonmail site tab is both active and maximized, not when minimized, then it is the same as the rest, support and I were not able to resolve this, I picked up some Java replacement extensions and whatnot and that did not work either.

I got mad at a website that wouldn't let me right click menu to save pictures, so I stubbornly saved them via less efficient means, in the process I picked up the Long Screenshot extension and this had an error shortly before or after I had an issue with Lightshot not appearing, other extensions did not appear either when I added them during this time period, but now these all appear with the exception of Lightshot, which gets deleted and reinstalled only to not appear, that of course being the problem, though I will also say that a right click menu not being there is like reaching onto my computer and pulling my finger away, sites that do that should be given the cold shoulder somehow, at least.

My Firefox has suddenly stopped working when websites have menus you need to scroll through on the right side. Example: websites where you are drilling down through filter options, or in Ancestry where you will typically open a record in the hints screen and scroll down through the detail. The right scroll navigation causes the whole page to scroll up and down; there's no way to navigate down in the sub-display. I have run FF in safe mode, and done a scorched-earth uninstall/reinstall and the problem persists even with no plug-ins restored. This is on a machine running Windows 11. The machine crashed right before this became a problem. Sites work in Edge without issue.

I have set the Noto family of fonts to be the default font family but websites that don't specify a font or specify sans-serif or monospace get Liberation Mono. When I changed any option in the fonts settings, the entire browser becomes Liberation Mono. I want Noto Sans be the default font for websites and for the Firefox UI. I tried to fix it by preforming a Firefox Refresh, but it didn't work. I think the problem began after upgrading to Firefox 100 but I'm no 100% sure.

Hello dear volunteers (followers),

After Firefox Update to 100.0, the Theme that I created (JOHN - Light Grey) stopped working properly. More Specific all drop-down and pull-down menus have been transformed to a "white" background color, overcoming the initial created one, which was "dark gray".

So I tried to revise (update) my "Theme". But this became impossible.

In Developer Hub, in Theme Generator there was a (pink) frame warning "the following manifest properties that your most recent version upload used in it's manifest are unsupported in this wizard and will be ignored: properties popup popup_text tab_loading So I couldn't edit the theme and even more I can't finish and save any changes. Well, Is there any skilled user to give me a hand ? I would appreciate too much any piece of advice ...

I went into about:config and changed the following values in order to widen the scrollbar:

css. scrollbar-width was true changed to false idget.non-native-theme.scrollbar.size.override was 0 changed to 100 widget.non-native-theme.enabled was true changed to false

Changing these values didn't widen my scrollbar. Without getting into coding, is there another way to make the scrollbar wider? (I changed them all back to the original settings when they didn't work.)

I would like to stop the default behavior of firefox displaying in the tab that contains my GMail how many unread GMail messages there are -- in other words to delete "(9)" from the attached photo and never have the count displayed -- if it could instead simply say "Inbox - xxx@gmail.com"
